I agree porn sucks.. however I do believe it is becoming the new norm. Women replaced most men with social media and romantic movies and books 📚. Men did the same with porn, strippers, only fans... I'm 38 and have been trying to quit porn for years and watching for basically 2 decades, but I have realized it is thee most addictive thing in the world. I have quit all sorts of drugs, quit drinking alcohol, but porn is just so hard to stop. It has made keeping an erection difficult when having sex, given me social anxiety, negatively affected my confidence, amongst many other things. Have no idea what to do at this point but just keep praying on the matter. After 3 weeks seeing a girl in a bikini will get me to want to go do it. Lust is an incredibly powerful drug, more than any that I have ever done.

Unless you get rid of your smartphone and put blockers on your PC, you're never overcoming (pun) your porn addiction. 17 years addicted to it, and only recently I made that change in my life. Guess what: my addicted ass *still* finds ways I would never have come up with to relapse. I'm finally BARELY winning against this addiction, and even still, despite the drastic changes, I still find the withdrawals a BITCH to deal with. I look at all these poor men who express in the comments how much they want to quit. Take the example of the alcoholic clearing his fridge of booze first. Rid your "fridge" so to speak (smart devices, add blockers etc.) now.
I wish I did this 10 years ago; but I can't change the past. Just gotta take this serious now.

(It is porn on steroids, 50x more. Jesus Christ it's cursed my mind for nearly 5 months, cursing my body, my health, my dreams, my goals too. A tiny tiny "urge" at any point of the day feels the same as trying to resist the pull of an F1 car going 230mph. A big urge feels like dragging a black hole in my mind).

I feel like if you look at the stuff daily, yea you have an addiction. It's ok to do it once in awhile. I started as a teen, I don't visit those sites daily anymore. I don't keep those tabs open. The tabs in your browser will keep you coming to it. It's all about control like you talk about. I enjoyed the video.

Try reading Easy Peasy. And please, listen to me. I've overcome social media addiction, and it was *only* a mental barrier. After reading The Easy Peasy Method to quit Corn (takes at least 2 days to complete for me), I've noticed that it's surprisingly similar to how I recovered from wasting my time on TH-cam. I failed College Algebra at college (online) because of my TH-cam addiction, that's how bad it was. Please, whatever you do, combine this method with whatever you're doing right now. *_It's all about mindset_* , and this hackbook can help you with that if you choose to.
I've got multiple girlfriends and FWB, so I don't have lots of time for p*rn and I need to save my energy for them.
