I think we have to form a corporation in order to be treated like a human being. I don't like this game mankind is playing. How about we tell the rich they win and then play a different game?
You can't be more right about that my friend.
Spitting facts. You live like your parents youll get left behind. Every generation must adapt to their times.
What should we all be doing?
What we SHOULD be doing is getting rid of social media and all these subscription based models.
We SHOULD try to get together, we SHOULD be lowering womens dating expectations. We SHOULD get rid of car dependancy. We SHOULD have less kids.
@@realitydesigners get assets live as poor as possible for three decades you can invest yourself to a million dollars easily. Baby steps dont let anyone stir you off your path. Money is a tool not something to hold on to
Do what you can while you can. Dont regret missing out on the leap you should have took. The leap as in for your future. Not the one of fun. Keep reading, keep seeking truth. Every thing I got good at, Tech can do it better, and you can adapt, but its all greying. It doesnt go much further. Bots dont spend. Our dollars worth nothing now. We are in a new age and the advancement of technology is the destruction of humanity. Btw, my IQ has increased from 25 yo to 33, that was surprising.., but Ive had a handful of head injuries, real ones, plus i was the lab rat for all the ones everyone and their dog now has. so i could just be an exception. The important thing to realize is something big is going to happen soon. Its practically inevitable. The housing bubble is going to pop and our government may collapse or attempt to merge us into a one world government through a state of emergency, or we could lose the power. People like you may do incredible things one day and have no idea what that means yet. It could mean developing some advanced defense system but thats not what I am referring to. The world may need rebuilding, a phone may need to be reinvented. Or you be a lone survivor and find the a woman to repopulate. Just keep that in mind. The future is unpredictable but i dont think it can tolerate this course much longer. Of course you dont have to trust a youtube comment.. But dont dismiss the possibility. @@realitydesigners ps..Christian or not, get in to the ancient translation of the Gospels and become educated on this historical aspect of it before you dismiss it entirely. People who push religion are often poor representatives of what they stand for, and its easy to associate God with this cultish style way we see church.. i dont push religion ever really, I just spent my twenties worshipping myself and always had an excuse to push the Bible away.. as if i understood it, and I knew how I made, but somehow God couldn't do this? Its intellectually brilliant. There's a reason its cool to be against It. Because what's in it is wild. And they dont want you to know
Half false. Adapt- but live like your parents may be the best way to go. They have solved some puzzles already. Would be foolish to ignore that.
Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, dr.porassss. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place.
Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac.

The older generations could control your reality. You didn't know what was going on down the street, so what ever they said, that is how the world was. Now, your eyes are open to the world and you get a birds eye view. The younger generation can see the cage that they are being put into and not having it.
I’m so down with them being done. They will teach us many things.
I like that analogy, I think the internet has connected this generation a lot more as well. You could be firm different countries culture but still relate to trends online
@@realitydesigners Your one that could have benefited from being in the military. Only because when they break you, you end up healing stronger. Like when someone thinks they can't handle a tough situation, But the difference is the military breaks you over and over till your one bad mother fucker who doesn't need a helping hand. Being done when this young tells me you have never been broken. I was broken again and again being in construction for 35 years, We always had a cage on us.
It is the dilemma of when to listen to an authority figure and when to be confident in your own decisions. You no longer can be psychology chained to caring so deeply about what those figures will think of you if you go a certain route. Since the world changes there are definitely things you have a better understanding of than older generations. Nothing wrong with respectfully listening, just don’t allow yourself to be stifled by others’ opinions.
Grew up in the 90s. I could see it by age 10. It’s just your awakened or your not.
I refer to the malaise our younger generations face today as a type of 'arrested development’. Older folks refuse to pass the torch even when most of their ways and advice are useless for most younger people to follow.
Exactly this take !
Yeah when I think of giving advice to a young person I realize I don't know what to say, the advice I was given as a young person does not necessarily help anyone today. Not sure I would recommend college anymore unless you are going into something like STEM, otherwise you are starting your life off with a ton of debt that you may never be able to pay back. I am not sure what good advice for young people would look like as I have no way of knowing if that advice will actually pan out for today's youth. It is a tough spot to be in, not knowing what a positive way forward should look like.
I find the best thing we can do (and I"m genx) is listen. Really listen and accept their lived reality. This is an entirely diferent world for all of us, and they must be the path finders.
@@Shanawolf Yep, and use our knowledge to the best of our ability to guide in the places we can, and not let our own limitations be passed to them.
@@billcarpenter5615 Ya this is really real. It's hard to say what to do... but I think it will get more clear when the tech really settles and we find how to truly harness it's power. But right now, ya life is messy for many.
I was 27 by the time I came tro realize that everything is a lies, the world is full of fakeness, people are actually just consumers, virtually no one is critically thinking. Kudos to you! You young people can join me in my off grid pursuits any day. We can all learn how to build a foundation for successful living without the standard 9 to 5 and the myriad of other dependency problems that most Americans experience today.
Would love this and maybe even document it if it’s in order!
As long as you have building permits. And if you don't when they tell you to tear it down because lack thereof they will also fine you for not getting a teardown permit.Nothing is free, nothing
Facts. I came to this awareness when I was around 12. I was somewhat of a recluse and would ponder things. Wondering what to do with my life and how I was gonna make a substantial living. Catching onto the fact that we learn and are taught about people who accomplished things and many of them were dropouts/aimless and had to make a way for themselves. Then people that do their very best and break societal barriers become the enemy and target of cooperations and lack support from family for ‘shaking things up,’ for encouraging independent thinkers. In this grim reality there still is a diamond buried in the dirt called encouragement, and you must have that. Day to day nothing changes.. but when you look back you’ll see how different everything was and how much power you have, and how much you have in fact influenced your surroundings.
💯
@ifihadsmesumchicken6276 Therein lies my resolve chicken. I am not asking for permission for nothing. And if it comes at the cost of defending this property with my life, then so be it. You have highlighted one of those dependency problems I alluded to earlier. America wasn't founded by people begging for permission. And it won't be saved by them either.
Having a job kills your freedom but allows you to live. The catch 22 of modern life. The amount of poor guidance I received not only from parents but also guidance counselors and professors was astounding. Almost everyone is totally checked out.
You’re free, wtf? If you’re not willing to sacrifice, then so be it. Lose. Generations past made sacrifices that you couldn’t even fathom.
It does kill ur freedom, but ur right is necessary to life the modern life. I received very poor guidance, hoping to change that for the future generations. This time is different. Everyone is sleepy

Even if you can find a way to earn without a job, the modern living standard demands that people must work in order for the logistics to happen.
I'm not talking about a college educated job. I'm talking about the tangible results of the basic necessities of life, food, shelter, energy, infrastructure.
Someone has to manufacturer it, deliver it, build it, install it and maintain it or it doesn't exist.
People must resolve themselves to take pride in their labor and skills.

Over 20 years ago I read something that stuck with me - the author stated that Western societies had become increasingly materialistic, individualistic, and socially antagonistic. This rings especially true today.
The problem is that people are always talking sht about each other.

@@realitydesigners A lot of older people talk sht about younger generation for not buying houses. Why the F it matters to them? It's really none of their business. The reason is that they want us to buy their houses at all time high prices and leave us holding the bag. Fck them!

I think the younger generation just wants a job that they are not manipulated by and can share more of their ideas of work and also have a work life balance
Most people can only exist as somebody elses employer. Coercion is literally necessary to keep the system running.
@@bobdole6691 When he mentioned "those young, dumb kids always on their phones," he highlighted that older generations don't understand the speed at which things are happening today. The boomers are accustomed to a resource-based economy, where physical effort and time are directly linked to money. With the advent of the Internet, boomers often overlook how much time can be saved by doing things faster online. They are used to a more tangible connection between time and money, and it's upsetting because so much of their energy is wasted on commutes and they cannot do things faster outside their realm of work. This creates a mental disconnect between providing for themselves and their households, as well as their relationship with the younger generations.
Love this comment. The world truly is changing and we are actually picking up on it well, collectively. The younger generation is definitely reconfiguring reality and I think it will all work out. But ya we gotta tune out most boomer takes at this point

The first lie was "Work until 60 and retire to enjoy life"
We are now dealing with the consequences of everyone who fell and lived by that lie, and they don't want to give it up.
I’m teaching my son to listen and follow that inner voice. The external voices were all full of lies for personal gain.
Well that inner voice won't tell him to work all day for retirement that won't be there.

I think this generation has more knowledge at a young age because of the internet more than any other generation.
Ya and I think thats the primary reason. There could be others but put it in the hands of any generation and the result would be similar.
The knowledge means nothing if nothings being produced. So far no Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos or innovative prodigies have been produced by Gen Z of yet, just saying.
I think that that is completely wrong! If you know anything about conspiracy, you'll know how curated the internet is. It's been that way since 2014. A lot of the information that I know, I can't find anymore. And a lot of the people I used to follow are gone! They definitely have information, but it's not anything that isn't supposed to be seen! I feel that Millenials are the first generation, in at least the past few generations, that DON'T ridicule the next generation in a "these dang kids" manner. I think we (Millenials) are ready and eager to shift this trauma pattern!
Yes I agree.☝️
Yeah, my only "criticisms" for the kiddos is they don't listen to enough rock music! But yeah, these young kids are pretty intelligent and sometimes oddly funny. It's a hard time to be a kid. It was hard for us in many ways, but technology amplifies all of the difficult teenager stuff.
It's because Millennials are perpetual children. The males look and act like grown teenagers and the females are still mad at daddy.
Millennial here… I see a lot of myself in these younger generations. I was always telling my parents that the systems in place were corrupt and they called me a conspiracy theorist or “unamerican”. Well, guess who is now spouting all the stuff I was saying waaaaay back in my youth? I think older people are sometimes too stuck in their own “knowledge” to see what’s actually in front of them.
Im a Millenial, 1987, I will support my daughter forever if I have to. She never has to leave if she doesn't want to, and she can rely on me as long as she needs to. I was kicked out at 18, and have been on my own since. Millenials are built different. 💪

Modernism vs PostModernism, our parents & beyond never grew up with this amount of advanced technology. We still don't even know what this technology is doing to us physically and psychologically as humans, everything has become open-ended, unlike our older gen's life. Everything for them was multiple-choice, This life is now open-ended.
Oof this is what it is. Too many choices. So much to do in such little time. Who to follow? Who to listen to? Etc it’s all part of it
The older Gen is just as bad as the new one. Society in general is in the midst of rampant decay.
Yep!
Life was much easier in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s than it is now for all the people at that time old and young. Today life is hard both for young and old people. I have heard stories from people who are 70 yr old today about how it was when they were young and it sounds like a Christmas story when you listen to them. They all had jobs, no stress, insane opportunities, peace of mind, tranquility, plenty of easy money, travels and good times - EASILY. today to get these things we have to apply huge amounts of efforts.
I am 56 but I see the younger generation as full of possibilities. They are limited by a system that denies them the opportunities to interact with real things.

I subscribed to your channel and I’m looking forward to hearing more of your perspective on life. Great job on your video too.
I have still plenty to work on and am later launching a company, but yes the typical job market is rough in the tech field if you’re not already established and maybe I haven’t tried hard enough. But I’ve been burnt out from the traditional work place for a while now.
I'm 56 and am having trouble finding a job that can support me. Work has always been ''a way of life''. Imagine living through the Great Depression.
I’m 42, which makes me an older millennial. I’ve done well for myself. I don’t pass on the old advice I’ve received. Instead, I impart my experience. Trying to talk to this younger generation when you see them going down a bad path doesn’t work-they don’t listen. I’ve seen so many crash and burn despite being warned several times.
I just watch now. There’s no reason to offer advice that won’t be heeded.

You’re not alone. It’s wild. Didn’t think about Italy. But makes sense
In Italy things have been like this since the late 80'
Older doesn't mean smarter, it just means more experienced. My advice is to get a career that you are good at but more importantly that you enjoy. Because time is the most valuable resource. So if you enjoy your work, you havn't wasted your time. I'm 61. My life has been a very bumpy road but I have learned how to make lemonaid from lemons. P.S. Others might purposely sacrifice with a job they don't like to bank capital -- to start a business, buy a house, pay for college, retire, support a family... So it can be OK if there's a plan behind it, and especially if it's not too long term.
Experience > Age. Thanks for this ✨
I feel like any 20 something person over the last 150 years might of had similar thoughts. It’s tough being human, and each age has its specific challenges. You have a sharp mind and a good spirit, you will be fine :-)
The younger generation are more introspective and open to spiritual teachings where older generations almost seem incapable of hearing spiritual truths from younger people. It makes older generations feel like they’re not in control when a younger person shares spiritual teachings and are met immediately with resistance. Even if they’ve been in church their whole life.
That's civilization. It's a spiritual racket.

"Getting articulate" he's totally right I bought my first business when I was only 22 and in hindsight until I was was able to articulate my service well I didn't do very well but when I got it I was in the money. Im a little older than you (37) and the way I say it is I was very lucky to have lived in the 90s and early 2000s. After 9/11 the world changed forever. 2001-2010 was still semi normal.
2010-2020 was when technology became too invasive and people changed.
2020 after covid and on is like end of the world vibes. It seems to me like the world ended in 2020
and this is like some simulation of a reality we once knew as planet earth.
I exercise alot to feel better, but damn this world is really fucked up.
Every generation blames the one before. Nothing ever changes.
Here from Jack Morgan RLP. 20 years ago when i got into the shower with a circular saw (to keep the mess confined) i though i was "done". Maybe if we had smart phones back then there would be a lot of videos of people saying similar things . Heads up, one day your generation will be getting blamed for the state of things, think about it
25 here, I've been wanting to move out and create my ideal reality as best as I can and it feels basically impossible. Went to college years ago and the lecturer was absolutely horrible, got a shitty retail job, covid hit and ever since then I've felt stuck. In the past few years I've been focused on getting better, but no matter how hard I've tried I can't get back into college or a new job, applied for over 300 this year. I just want to get on with my life, I'm trying so hard just to keep it together most days with how overwhelming this is. I know this wont last forever which keeps me hopeful, and I have goals to keep me ticking along, but I'm trying to take it day by day. Something so simple as having my own place even after saving for years feels so out of reach
A lot of us in similar positions. Keep those extra goals busy and don’t lose motivation!
@@realitydesigners thanks for the encouragement man, love the video

Hey man, welcome to the squad
Shit man, I'm a genX, and the whole generation thing is not an identity but a circumstantial reaction to the environment you grow in .. Meaning a millennial from the US is not the same that China.
But when it comes to the western world, genz is not looked down upon, the most looked down upon are boomers that got the easy ticket to life, only cared about themselves, always shiting on younger generations for their lack of material success, then come the millenials that got raised by the everyone is a winner culture, and are so soft and shallow, then genx that we just didn't want to participate or fix anything, and then genz that are actually coming up stronger because of the hard times.
But really bud, we all grew up seeing older generations eating the shit candy, and we wanted something different, the hard reality is that sometimes you come up with something and become successful, but most fail at entrepreneurship or even never attempt, and you become jaded, and biologically tired.
It's a slave world, where we play the game of the musical chair, trying to not get screwed, in this late capitalism stage...
It sucks, in so many ways, but as stoics say, it is what it is....
i'm gen x. and i can tell you spending your life in a job, as part of a system, having a safety net - unless you are doing something that brings great meaning to you - is the least courageous, least adventurous, and the most atrophying thing you can do. i don't think the young people today are that different from the young ones that we were, the ones that wanted to make it despite the system, thereby beating it.
I’m always saying this! Heavily agree ✨
GenX-er here- thank you for sharing your thoughts, wish you all the best!
I’m a young person. You’re right, but we’re human and we’ve adapted thus far, so we will continue to do so. Right now it’s about how smart can you maneuver. Just because one doesn’t have half the software engineering skills as you, it doesn’t mean that there is no hope for them. There are other ways to make it and the things you call “copes” are legitimate paths for a lot of people (and will only become more valuable and legitimate as A.I gets more advanced). I think the real cope is people taking the old path (school-job-death) and defending it because they’ve already invested so much time into that path and don’t want to admit that it was mostly unfruitful and it’s becoming more and more irrelevant as we advance.
True. Actually the trades are become even more valuable. I plan on picking up a few of these skills myself for basic necessities.
Nice philosophical post, well put together, and, very cohesive. More power to you. Glad to hear your perspective, not because your outlook, experience and perspective is young, but because it does contain some timeless wisdom.
Thanks a lot ✨
It’s corrupt a f out here and we’re onto it. I’m gen X.

@@sadhu7191 its about forgiveness not justifying wrongs. All have fallen short and all need forgiveness from God , but it goes both ways you must forgive others for there wrongs. Doesn't mean you support there actions. Jesus loves the sinner and hates the sin.
The only currencies we exchange in this life experience are our spiritual transactions! We live in a Current-sea. As above, so below. Thanks for sharing wonderful perspective Raymond. They have made generations of humans feel "subordinate" over and over, and yes our generation is no exception in this matrix. We do however, have the ability to change our perspectives, regardless if older generations have passed along trauma to the next. It's very strategic and the chaos is carefully organized to have so many humans souls wrapped up in distractions. Mainstream is just that - the main stream of magic. television = tell-a-vision. Rather than humans recognizing the Divine abilities we are born with, we look outward for that "instant gratification" and externalize our reality into a 3D understanding. We could say technically, most programs are indeed psychological ops, as everything in the human centric world is controlled by man, or so they say. This hierarchal patriarchal complex is what has so many not paying attention to the GAIA, MOTHER GODDESS, of whom we are a Direct reflection of. Love and compassion are at the highest vibratory states, and harmonious thought propelled by these energies would shake their matrix. It is happening now as we communicate these frequencies to one another, changing our old perspectives, and rewiring our senses to a stronger state of inner awareness, in direct connection with our 3rd eye of limitless potentialities. Of course, they don't want a majority of humans innerstanding, as we would quickly realize our own magic and creative possibilities are indeed infinite. So, the dampening of consciousness continues to be embedded while our creative potential is stolen as they use our human bodies/spirits as BATTERIES, harvesting energy from our senses and recycling it through the sensationalized instantly gratifying matrix. The actual Vampires...
Once the veil is removed, the synchronicities from your shifted perception, and vibration, will literally vibrate your senses to a different bandwidth in the universe. It changes the way you experience life, and helps us develop that inner awareness we need to commune with our higher thought forms, and bring them down into creation so we can truly be the Divine beings that we are. They ABSOLUTELY want humans to feel stupid, that is generational trauma that we see today, certainly. We have to break old habits continuously, and put in the REAL WORK to do this. The best way for me to give practical application is learning as many things as you can. Be a constant student and teacher. CONNECT with the MOTHER, GAIA. I will end with this note - Nature is the synonym for the ENTIRETY of the manifested universe, including ALL various planes, realms, AND dimensions.
WIth love!
Peace & chaos.
Thank you for this ✨ start making more videos on this. We must break free fully. Join the discord and continue to share your thoughts if that sounds right!

It is stupid not to pay attention to young people (especially of the age from around 14-16), as within a decade they will start shaping the world, even if not from positions of power and decision making, but simply where they put their attention and what they desire. It is no coincidence there is so much effort put into controlling these, by people currently possessing power.
That’s such a trip to think about
The economy took a dump in 2008 and never really recovered, im 38 and kinda watched year by year things up until this point, ive got the house the cars the family but it feels like its easier than ever to loose it all. Its not so much the younger gen not wanting this or that its the very system the game thats been changed so theyll loose out.
25 this year no relationship no friends, just work my life away or in isolation is my future no interest in kids or marriage everything is destroyed, it was over before we even started. Nobody ever checked up on me, ect.
A lot of people now in this situation. It’s so wild.
I’m going to be 35 next month, and while I’ve changed a lot (especially in the last 5 years), I found most of my growth came from modifying and adapting existing structures. I can see now with my current job that the cultural changes are starting to take shape for people my age, and that we just weren’t in positions of authority until very recently.
I also think it’s the nature of young people to rebel against the existing power structure by default. Whether you’re in Iran or the U.S. or China, you hear the same complaints from young people just manifesting in different ways. I would also encourage you to remember that all of the old people of today were once just like you. Maybe they forgot that part of themselves, but everything they judge young people for now are things they were equally guilty of. The only thing I’d encourage you to wonder to yourself is why they’re like that.
Why do they hate wasteful and self destructive habits like drugs and social media? Why do they distrust the government by default and fall into stupid conspiracy theories and cults? Why do they all feel like alpha bad ass renegades in their brains despite almost none of them actually being that? You find the answers to that, and you’ll speed right past most of the people you’re age, and before long, you’ll be with us on the other side of this.
Just remember to stay humble, kind, generous, and loving to everyone you meet. You’d be surprised how far a good attitude gets you, even in big bad 2024.
Love this! ✨ this is the reality we want
Less young now, but felt the same as you when younger. Young adults are expected to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps” when they have neither boots nor straps. Had to make my own boots and straps to pull up. Meanwhile, still working to make it better for the younger, but it’s difficult when capitalism is deeply embedded and people vote in representatives that give all the perks to the corporations and fight against social safety nets. May youse guys do what the hippies of the 60s tried to do before you existed. Good luck! 🥂🖖🏼
Time to reinvigorate the hippie movement - but with a little less “hippie” tho.
40 years from now, when you realise that the old people were right, you will appreciate what they were trying to tell you. And make sure you blame everyone else when it doesn't turn out like you want.
We know they’re right, we just want them to listen to our solutions. Some are, but most don’t care. Millennials will have to take over for now.
😂 Like my boomer parents, telling me hard work is the way to go. At 10 years old, I beg my parents to buy a little piece of land, for a farm that I would work hard on. Then, dad tells me to do "women's work" instead of "men's work".
Mom refuses to teach me to write a resume and won't sign a work permit for me, at 13. Then, she pressures me to work, because I quit high school, at 15.5. Because I had no support in job searching, from either parent, I begged her to get me an interview for a position at the law office she worked at as a legal secretary. I took the GED tests for this position. I receive my GED certificate 1 week after my 17th birthday. I get in there. 5 months later, I quit, due to a company move, others quitting, and their work(half of which, they didn't train me for) being piled onto me, the file and errand girl.
So.. is this what y'all mean by hard work? Working under others, in an organized chaotic mess, for a fraction of what your time and energy is worth, to be further taxed(robbed) for a system of debt?
Imma go with my original thought and get me a piece of land.. but even better than farming, I'm going to build a self-sustaining food forest, which requires little to no maintenance, and an annual garden, on the side of the cob house I'm gonna build, myself.
I don't know why the world thinks we need another planet. Greed? Because near nobody wants to care for the earth anymore? Most people just want more and more comfort and entertainment and don't givafuk how it comes. And many people, like my boomer parents, who wanted the "American Dream", don't get that their **pursuit** of happiness, is all they're getting, because by the time they retire, they'll be sick, weak or ded, due to stress and other health problems arising from being overworked, by greedy mfers.
Same all I want to do is start a small farm.
I like the replies here. More people should just start living small and trading with their neighbors and communities. It's how we survived in the past, it is not possible for a man to survive by himself though. More people supporting each other will always be better than one person. But it's all hard work. God bless

First of all, great video. I completely relate. However, this generation of youth isn't the only one going through these things, and won't be the last. When I was a kid, very young, at 4 years old I knew things and said things that would even scare my parents because there was no way I should know these things. Clairvoyant type shit. Youth across the world from all cultures and generations experience these things. Kids have way more capacity and potential, sensitivity and awareness to reality than people realize. But also discipline and certain traditional values are still important + good parents who are still open to learning with their kids and letting them discover and develop in their own way.
There are so many additions now and adults aren’t leading by example
They dont even know what the new additions to reality are
I'm 37 and my generation had similar problems growing up. Every generation has its own sets of problems. I agree older people struggle to resonate with the younger generations, but that problem goes both ways. My parents could afford housing, had better paying jobs etc, but they didn't have what I had growing up. I was speaking with a colleague who's in her 40s and she was telling about all the stuff she's buying her children. Clothes, phones, subscription services, video games etc all throughout the year. I only got stuff like that on birthdays and Christmas. It's just different issues. The societal changes are holistic and must be balanced out between the situation we're in, how people vote and the attitudes of each generation who live in the society itself. People who have kids tend to have different attitudes than people who don't in my experience. So that's just one way how one generation can influence another.
Ya the challenges we just face are different. Thanks for this ✨
I’m 31. I couldn’t have said any of this better myself. You’re right on.
You feel it. But now we gotta start designing our reality.
I'm 56 years old- have had quite a crazy life: a horrific childhood followed by being discovered on the street and beginning a 25-year modeling career, wherein I traveled the world and got to do things NO ONE gets to do (or not many people at least). Anyway, now I'm a high school History teacher and (if I may) my students LOVE me- not because I'm some "awesome instructor" (who knows; perhaps I suck at teaching lol) but because I TREAT MY STUDENTS AS FULLY EQUAL AND ABLE HUMAN BEINGS- great minds and spirits, all of whom I utterly respect as people. Indeed, I tell them on an almost daily basis "I learn more from YOU guys than you do from ME."
Point is, please know that SOME older people do NOT look down upon young people- not at all. I most certainly do not. I DO, admittedly, revile the phone addiction but I ALWAYS say to my kids "Hey- look- I absolutely wish you could live without your phone-- BUT- if I was your age- I'D BE DOING THE SAME THING-- SO IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! You can't help it that you happened to be BORN into this specific world at THIS specific time! If anything the blame lies with US for making this garbage and then getting you guys hooked!" Putting the "phone issue" on young people is like blaming the addict rather than the drug dealer.
Anyway great thoughts- I hear you- and because of your words I will endeavor to be even MORE attuned to my students.
Please keep making these vids and I'll keep watching and liking them. Oh and duly subbed.
I love this! You are amazing ✨ really feel this one. Thanks for hopping on the ride! It’s going to get wild and who knows what’s in store. Let’s design this new reality
I was born in 90 and your makin a lot of sense to me 👍

Not Giving them a chance to think for themselves is the problem because they feel the need to rebel all the time
This feeling of control of lack of trust is nothing new to Gen Z. Every single generation feels a need to prove themselves to their elders. Gen Z has to prove themselves to Millenials and Xers. We X-ers had to prove ourselves to the Boomers. We rejected the hippie/yuppie attitude of our elders and wanted independence too. We were known for not trusting older generations. The exact situations and technologies have changed. Human nature has not.
Exactly!
As a “Gen X” in my 50’s I applaud and admire the younger generation who are creating their own lanes! As a child I always felt this way but couldn’t express it the way the younger generation has been doing lately, I stand with you! Also The boomer generation before us pretty much set us up to fail after they benefited from the “American Dream” now the “American Nightmare” Keep on pushing forward,,,Salute 🫡
Thnx 👀🫡🫡

Older folks cant accept that we dont have to go through the same failures they did. We can see it in retrospect and be wiser. They probably are envious of that. They cant accept the fact that we dont have anything to show for and that is okay. They are just fixed in their own beliefs and its very hard to see eye to eye.
There are plenty of jobs, but none of them meet your standards of freedom.
Good observation
This is spot on.
Interesting video man. I really needed this 👍
You can and will continue to expand your intellect and skill set in your 30’s and 40’s. It’s a lifelong challenge. You’re definitely spearheading the youth mentality. Women are especially emotional. This video reminds me of myself 40 - 45 years ago. It’s good to hear what you have to say at any age. 😊
Thank you. This info is needed. And I agree about women right now ✨
Young people have become very short term in their outlook. Instant gratification etc. Problem is the long run does arrive and they're not prepared.
Thus speaketh the Boomer, someone who was done with school at 18 forever, could buy a house with a standardized factory job and support a wife and two kids before 25 years old...
This guy is preaching instant gratification to a generation of people who knew nothing else but school and work their entire lives.
How much longer do these people need to delay 'gratification' of getting a place to live and having their own family? Until they're 44 and all the eggs are dried out?
But because the average millennial and zoomer want to experience something else in their finite time in this existence outside of sitting behind a desk or in a office 12 hrs every day, because they want to actually spend time to form some type of relationship or decompress with a video game, they are just lazy and spoiled, right?
I’m 32 and I understand where he’s coming from. The thing about traditions is that they originated from necessity. Once the necessity seemingly no longer exists, the tradition feels arbitrary. The problem is that since the boomers, the traditions have all mostly been thrown out, and the necessity is creeping back in. That’s why everything is falling apart. Idk which generation it will be, but it’s inevitable that there will be one that is going to have kids, get married, be settled at an early age. They’re going to throw away the tradition of what weve been doing since the boomers. It’s a cycle.
Yup I would have to agree with this! It is becoming a necessity now, and it was never really preserved even through the boomers.
