An explanation as this couldn't get any better. I was raised as a christian for a decade. I now follow my path which runs parallel to Hindi teachings. Swami Sarvapriyananda has a mind like a razor. No one in church back in the days could explain God this Good. I am a firm believer in Vedanta. Shanti, Shanti Shanti, Om

This concept is beautifully explained by quantum physics. The concept of the collapse of the wave of infinite probability, into a single point (particle) by the mere act of making an observation. We create the observable universe by the mere act of observing it. We are both creators and creation.

I hope you know that Erwin Scrodinger was a Vedantist. According to his biographer Walter Moore, his favourite books were the Upanishads and Bhagawad Gita. In fact, in his book "Meine Weltansicht", Schrodinger even acknowledges that Quantum Physics is derived from the Upanishads. Schrodinger wrote in his book Meine Weltansicht:
“This life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of this entire existence, but in a certain sense the whole; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance. This, as we know, is what the Brahmins express in that sacred, mystic formula which is yet really so simple and so clear; Tat Tvam Asi, this is you. Or, again, in such words as “I am in the east and the west, I am above and below, I am this entire world.”
This is a reference to the Mundaka Upanishad mantra:
All this that is in front is but Brahman, the immortal. Brahman is at the back, as also on the right and the left. It is extended above and below, too. This world is nothing but Brahman, the highest.

This is why I am slowly falling in love with these philosophies of Hinduism . Even though I am an atheist , I just love this philosophy not only because it's beautiful but because it makes so much sense and it's being proved true NUMEROUS times by modern science .

    • @jayashkumar2006

WRONG WRONG WRONG you got it in wrong way everything conciousness has to do nothing with observation observation only means interaction of quantum particles and vedanta is not physics it's metaphysics and vedanta never says we create reality my entire point is you connected two strings which are to be connected but you connected them in wrong way vedanta says i am reality or one with reality if you are reality how can you create yourself it's necessary to understand otherwise you would confuse both of things and mix the elements of purusha and prakriti in vedanta i is not the doer it's the observer( from the layman's point of veiw ) it's the mind that gives birth to thought and then indirectly action with the help of body and both mind and body are part of reality and obeys laws of universe so we don't create universe we observe it but for an enlightened one he is the universe.
      THE END

@@darkseid856 : Hindu religions can't be categorised as Theism / Atheism. Advaita Vedanta is not theism in that there is no "faith" in a personal god. Neither is it Atheism that involves acceptance of only what is perceived by the senses in an objective way!

    • @TheAnzamin
      @TheAnzamin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@jayashkumar2006 I'm afraid you've misunderstood quantum mechanics here. The original point could still be poetically valid.
The point is that observation or 'awareness' causes the collapse from an infinite entanglement of everything into the 'reality' that you experience. I.e your awareness causes experience which leads to the 'waking' reality of advaita Vedanta to form. This reality is an illusion as are the first 3 states of mind because what underlies it is the One. The universal wave function. The wave function doesn't create reality or produce anything from itself but it can become temporarily 'localised' in the same way that your perception of yourself has become localized due to Maya. As you said, we are reality or one with it, similarly the collapsed wave function is still one with the universal wave function.

"For the first time in Life this wave saw the Ocean and the Wave together. I Am that ocean said the wave. I am that existence itself which I am."
It all went through in a blink to stay for ever I know.I dont know what happened but some thing happened.I am blessed. As they say the 21st hammer broke the stone but 20 hammers were needed before that. With My Infinite Love and Gratitude saiasha

Dear Abhai: I suggest that we do not react to each comment coming from practitioners of religions based on dogmas, i.e. you are born a sinner, there is only "their" god, that only he can "save" us etc. We are not preaching our philosophy with pamphlets, going door to door. We don't have the need to do that, for we know and realize that ours is "satyam" aka reality. It does not require validation from practitioners of other religions. People who are insecure believe in safety in numbers. Hence you see the urge to convert others into their fold. Hinduism does not believe in marketing and it does not require it. We believe that Truth will prevail. Yoga was not pushed into christian communities. Today probably more christians practice yoga than hindus.

swami vivekananda said in his ADDRESSES AT THE PARLIAMENT OF RELIGIONS - "We believe not only in universal toleration, but we accept all religions as true."
Law of non contradiction - 2 things cannot be true at the same time!
      A is not non A.
      Law of identity - A is A.
      Christianity - Jesus is God.
Islam - Jesus is a prophet.
Both can't be true at the same time! Therefore the God of bible and
Quran isn't the same because they have completely different truth
      claims.
Christianity - There's only one God, the Triune God!
Hinduism - There are many Gods!
Both cannot be true at the same time! Therefore the God worshipped by Christians and Hindus cannot be the same God with different forms.
      Common sense!!!! Smh

Being able to see oneself as that ocean of Existence in which the waves arise and subside borrowingfrom Ocean of Existence itself their existence to experience Existence Eternal. Like the sister borrowed the jewels from the other sister to ornament herself.I can now see how i am in the other and the other is in me.This may just be a beautiful understanding at this point but it is astep towards Experiencing that Ocean of Existence in Life.
