I lived in East Hampton for many years and moved away in 2019. I owned a taxi service called East End Taxi but sold it in 2016. The woman who owns Obligato is the sister of the man who bought my business. I miss that beautiful town and especially my cute house on the harbor. Unfortunately, my life sort of collapsed, my circumstances changed and I had to move away and try to rebuild my life (long, long crazy story that one day I'll probably write a book about!). My ex-husband's grandparents owned Damark's Deli, a landmark in East Hampton. I now live in the mid west but not a day goes by that I don't think about how different my life was there. I know many people in the video. The Fed Ex guy is just as I remember, he's always happy and encountering him is sure to brighten your day. Nice to see everyone is still around and doing good. Thank you for this video, it brings back a lot of memories.

My friend was found by her ex, because a youtuber was filming near a domestic violence woman's shelter (it looks like an ordinary building). The youtuber was with his friends and she rushed outside to her doctor's appointment so didn't realise the cameras. Her ex obviously recognised her and watched the video over and over to pin point the buildings even street name from google maps from the shop names. He would hang out everyday on the same street. On the 5th day that's when he saw her and beat her in broad daylight. He had to be dragged off her by two male teens and someone called the police and he ran away like the pitiful coward he is. Thankfully he was found later that day. This channel is not for me, because if a person doesn't want to be filmed, I don't know why their faces aren't foggy. I don't blame the youtuber of course but arguing that security cameras are in the area is not the same. Security cameras usually aren't posted for millions of people to watch. I live in a very touristy place, I don't tell people not to film me but I do dodge from every camera and hide my face from every camera. It's not that I have something to hide, it's just I don't want to be filmed. I'm not a survivor but what happened to my friend is terrifying

It was so neat to see all of the locals greeting you and remembering you from before. As a transplant to Colorado, hello from the BEAUTIFUL weather (and it is, indeed, perfect here today...chef's kiss!💋) but I loved this. You are bringing my memories right back to my 90's roots when I was living in my mother's hometown, Milford, Connecticut, and then when I moved 'downeast' to Bar Harbor, Maine, where my grandparents came from. Back then, I was a waitress, and (especially in Bar Harbor) I knew everyone, all of the locals (hell, I was related to some of them, lol), and most of the seasonal workers, besides. Those were the days, we worked hard and played hard. I think you probably know a lot about that life. I literally forget what it is like to be recognized by an old friend on the street. Loving the random conversations with happy people, especially our Italian philosopher-yogi, David. Sure makes me miss the East Coast, but it was great to hear your shout-out to Colorado where you are *always* welcome!! ❤
