    Officer Kyle proved himself a 3 star cop when he recognized Jason, and immediately affirmed his right. He verified he was a 4 star cop when he went to inform the store owner. Finally, he proved himself as an exemplary 5 star officer when he acknowledged the store owner's concerns of theft, de-escalated the situation, while reminding the store owner that Jason still has the right to film. He deserves recognition as a good cop.

      Almost made me tear up a lil.. definitely gave some much needed hope. Can you imagine how well we could get a long across the blue line, if AP and Ben did some, even just small time, training/speeches with the police across the nation?! I know it's been mentioned a lot. But this is proof how necessary it is. He said "I watch your videos all the time and I learned a lot". Hope he gets promoted all the way to the top!

      I agree. I don't understand why these vendors don't use this as an opportunity to advertise their businesses and to celebrate their town. They choose to place their jewelry in the window. Why?       Cops were always great. Over the past decade, people have been able to appreciate them more because of department-issued body cams. Anyone who supported Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Floyd, and all the goonery was unpatriotic. ALL lives matter.

    The best thing about this cop is that he watches your videos which means that he has interest in what is going on between police and the public instead of just being on power trip, he is informed about the First Amendment and that makes him a good cop and a normal person. We need more of that!

      I think it is a common desire to just want good police. We deserve it. Not to speak for everyone because I can't but we are sick of the bad attitudes, criminal behavior, violations and even murders done with impunity. That officer gave us a glimpse of hope for a better future.

      Unfortunately, NY police enforce draconian and clearly unconstitutional firearm laws. They got to keep their AR platform rifles with their standard capacity magazines. The politicians and elite are all defended by the same platform and magazines they don’t want the normal citizens to have.

    Cop corrected himself by saying: "He Unfortunately.....NOT unfortunately, he has a right not to"... That right there tells you that you guys are making a difference. Thanks for all you do to keep our rights safe! Always film the police.

      Most likely the cop is trying to sympathize with both party’s. Ultimately he’s stuck in the middle between a guy who doesn’t want to have his store filmed and a guy who has every right to film his store.

    I’ve watched lots of “cop audit” channels, that have the right idea, but the auditors are super confrontational with employees, management, & law enforcement. They mean well, but it doesn’t help the cause of protecting Constitutional rights of Americans.
    Y’all are polite, non-confrontational, & peacefully exercising your Constitutional rights, without being aggressive or trying to provoke anyone.
    The work you do is truly important & I appreciate you! It’s vital to protect our Constitutional rights!

      Asking is fine. It IS unusual to see 2 people walking around with professional camera equipment and it would get me curious as well. The problem comes with them feeling entitled to an answer.     It’s so refreshing to see a cop that knows the deal.
    I film in Canada and I’ve had it happen to me a couple of times and I have to say it makes me very happy every time it happens. I walk away with a smile on my face.

    These are the officers that I love. He absolutely knew the public photography law and explained that to Mr. Bradford. I’m glad he got educated today, cause he really needed it. Thanks for the awesome video. Keep pressing sir🥰

      Just a minor correction. There is no public photography law, per se. The first amendment is the default in public. Limited only if otherwise causing a disturbance or some other infraction.

    Jason, the life lesson about not being paranoid is absolutely spot on. The most depressing aspect of your videos is not necessarily the cops being out of control, but rather the "older" people who live their lives in fear. I'm "older" and that is NO way to live. Even choosing to live that way for one second is such a waste.

    While I admit that I didn't know all about my rights until I started watching these audits, it had never once occurred to me to demand the reason someone out in public is doing what they're doing, or to call the police on them. What a strange perspective to have on the world!

      Amagansett will always be my favorite. He's the Godfather as far as I'm concerned, and his legacy is cemented. But I love the diversity of audits and styles in the community. I like the Jason style but I don't dislike the confrontational style at all. From Amagansett to LIA to Auditing Eerie County, Press NH Now to the West Coast guys like B.A.T. and the ultra confrontational Denver Metro Audits. I love them all.

    It is absolutely refreshing to watch your encounter with the South Hampton police officers. They were great! The snobby store owner got an education, but I'm not sure he gets it. It is obvious that he is used to getting his way. Great work!

    Display windows are basically self explanatory. Shop owners DISPLAY their merchandise so people will see it and hopefully get lured into the shop. To say the windows can’t be filmed takes stupidity to new heights.

    I love LOVE LOVE your rebuttal. I have proof that common sense is rare. My daughter is ahead of her times, she's a doer, she had common sense, and street smarts. My son, us a planner, analyzer, honor student all day, ahead of his time. It's sad when our children attend public schools and our students need parental permission to walk out in protest.       He did say on camera that he was an auditor a while back. I wish he never did that. Im not gonna lie I prefer him just recording the towns and the folks within them... but unfortunately they come across uneducated people.

    I don't understand why these people think that taking pictures of something increases the chances of getting robbed. (They don't either)
    You're putting your merchandise in the window for everyone to see already. They just repeat this nonsense over and over and never think about what they're saying.

      @@Stavros1977 I had ladies come out of a bank from across a double lane street for filming a bank and said it was against the law and called the cops. They ran out to take pictures of us lol. We actually were working with the mayor at that point. The bank didn't even have windows.
