If you are still using Sections, note that Width and Position (previously named Custom Positioning) can now be found under the Advanced ▶ Layout tab.

Hi, can you tell me where this Custom Positioning setting at 0:31 has now moved to as I cannot find it? I am trying to replicate buttons next to each other, but this setting appears to have disappeared..

I found an alternative. Advanced>Layout>Width>Inline(auto)

This no longer works, inline is no longer in Positioning and the Advanced>Layout>Width>Inline(auto) places them on opposite sides of the column and you can't realign. Unless there is updated information?

Trying to have inline positioning for an image within text. Can't seem to get this to work? I don't see a "custom positioning" dropdown. I am using free Elementor and am using inline selections for both the text field and the image - both within the same section. No luck.

Sorry, you don’t say a word about the blue line limits of a box - or a section for that matter. Are they never to overlap by altering the standard settings in advance tab. Does the Z factor have to be entered if two blocks or sections DO overlap? That’s the kind of thing a user needs to know. Thanks hope you can reply or give a link.
Love it! But this function is not Working on my Elementor! :( I tried to replicate the same steps but they only changed location but were still in the same colum. Any idea on what could be happening? Thank you

Hi! I tried adding two text blocks (and more elements) but its not working at all. It keeps getting 100% width. Also if I set personalized with (lets say 25% and the other one the same) the blocks keeps one over the other instead of being inlined :| I have Elementor and Pro updated to the last version and I was waiting for this long time ago. What I'm I doing wrong? :v

Hi @vaddijashwanthreddy8908, if you can not select an element to drag and drop, you can open the Structure panel (formerly knowns as the Navigator). Hold down Command (Mac) or Control (PC) + I on your keyboard. You can click and drag the layers on the panel to reorganize your page elements.
how do create such gifs as motorcycle/car/train/boat at the beginning of this video. i am not sure how to create, but maybe there is a marketplace to get them? thanks
Is inline positioning also applicable to images widgets? They will not aligned along each other, if their sizes differ?

inline positioning does not work with image widgets :( it adds lot of empty space in the right hand side
I tried to insert and align an image to the right. It did it in the text editor, but not on the page. I tried previewing the page - the image was not aligned, and the text did not wrap. I tried setting the width to inline auto on the advanced tab and this did not work either. Any ideas why?

That's not working. I thought :49 would help, but no, they are still lopsided. I have a widget with 3 "identical" sections that include an image box (heading at top) w/text and an icon box below that all in each section. I did what Cassie says yet its still out of wack. The left image box header takes up 3 lines and not 2, which makes it lopsided. Argh!
Is there really no way to center a button horizontally?
I mean it's no problem to do it with custom CSS, but how is this not a simple, clickable option in the button's settings? Or am I just being blind?

@@Elementor Managed to get it working, cheers. Now just trying to tinker with having a line under the navigation, but only as wide as the menu options and not out into unused space
The positioning tab is no longer avalable, where can we find it now and how to use an inline placement ?

How to understand the text position in a headings widget when it is copy pasted, as it changes form, vs when clicking the mouse off the widget area? How to choose the style of text, when your mouse is clicked. I'm trying to align text into rows instead of only spaces apart? To wrap the text for bullet points all at once, for that look?
