I'd heard of these mockups long, long before, but the version in that movie totally took over the idea in my brain and clung to it. With the Howdy Doody song, too.
I know you said that there was no meaningful impact on people, but I've heard that it actually did have an effect in some communities in Southern Utah by increasing people's likelihood of getting cancer. I think it is called the downwinder effect.
I took that to mean that the tests didn't disrupt things as bad as shutting down a city. There were indeed fallout effects in southern Utah. One of the most tragic and creepiest effects was known as "jellyfish babies."
Me too. I was really upset when he only used the Blast Off Music, and not this, the Yume Nikki Barracks Music, or any of his Classic Tunes for his TH-cam Shorts any more. Is Blast Off Music paying Sterling to only use their Music in his Videos? Why can't he go half and half? Use his Music, and then use theirs?
How the hell did those cameras survive inside these houses that got absolutely demolished by nuclear bombs? (Unless we can count the live footage to be making out alive from that, I do not think physical cameras would.)
From my _brief_ attempt at Call of Duty, I learned about this from the Nuketown map. It wasn't the voice chat that got to me, it was me sucking at the game. I think I tried using the Striker, without knowing how horrible shotguns are in CoD...?
Atomic Bombs Are Terrifying... At Least I'm Interested In Nuclear Bunkers That Make Me Feel A Bit Safer Even Though I Don't Really Live Nearby Any. All That Is Close To Us Is A Small Fallout Shelter That Can Protect Up To 75 People.
And yet, in 1961, we as first grade students were instructed to duck and cover under our desks. As this would protect us from the evil Russian atomic bombs. Right.
JC Penney never looked so good! Where is Indiana Jones and why can't we see the villains giving chase? Would a test dummy stuffed in a 1950's refrigerator have the best chance? At the last minute before exiting the house set, it was discovered that personnel were placing the test subjects in compromising positions in the bedrooms. Researchers were able to figure this out after scratching their heads a few times trying to figure out why these inanimate objects kept being recovered in the missionary position. 😮
Example so you don’t have to watch it:it’s nuke town far away from Las Vegas in Nevada.they test nukes there.maniquins were for human test to see what would happen.
Reminds me of when Indiana Jones escaped a bomb by climbing in an old Refrigerator to escape it.
That's what I'm thinking of
@AlwaysADekaranger yeah I knew I wasn't alone in that 💭 thought!
he could of gotten out that fridge, most cus fridge of those era couldn't be opened from the inside while modern fridge today can
Barbie vs. Oppenheimer 💀
😂
Bro😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Fr
Come on man 😭
Nahhhh
You know its bad when not Even santa is voicing
Ok and
I agree!
@Gamerboytogoodm
Funny agree, very much an indeed-moment
Oh ho ho hoo!
Am I the only one who thought of Indiana Jones when seeing the dolls?
Nope lol
First thing that came to me.
I thought of him hiding in the fridge

Nuketown is what came to my mind when I first saw this.
Nuketown is based off these actually
It could be that Nuketown was based off these experiments from the 1950s.
Indiana Jones
Also what I thought as well with being the Nuketown map from how many Call Of Duty games.
This brings memories, some good, some bad such as average window campers. 😂
I remember all of my family living here as dolls... This is was the most terrifying time of my ragdolls test life.. 😢
So basically built to self destruct
I’m glad bro is finally using this song again
Me too. I was really upset when he only used the Blast Off Music, and not this, the Yume Nikki Barracks Music, or any of his Classic Tunes for his TH-cam Shorts any more.

"Hello, Indie! You're in Happy Town!"
JESUS CHRIST THIS ISNT HAPPY TOWN THIS IS EVERYONES GONNA DIE IN 5 SECONDS TOWN
2:29 "CRAZY DIAMOND!"
2:36 dun dun dun don dun dun dun dun don!
This reminds me of the fridge scene from Indiana Jones
Same
same, it reminds me of that to!
1:49 I can't see anymore bro💀
NOW QUESTION... WHO'S FILMING IT & HOW'S THE CAMERA NOT DESTROYED?
Good question. Reuters did a story on this a while back. The cameras were held in place by special poles and they were protected by lead shielding.
Creepy, especially since I was listening to “phony” by Will Stetson.
Also, depending on how near the objects are, there is a strong suction force following the blastwave, which further damages all rigid structures....
now i get it why theres nuke ability in cod
How the hell did those cameras survive inside these houses that got absolutely demolished by nuclear bombs?
(Unless we can count the live footage to be making out alive from that, I do not think physical cameras would.)
I think there was a comment from a different video saying that they used some tank shield or something like that to protect the cameras
Even with lead I find it hard to believe a camera would survive.
Real ones know to hide in a fridge from Indiana Jones
Fr
At that time I felt safe because I had a magic desk at school that would save me from anything! Weren't I lucky . . .
When you said nobody would survivor nuke I immediately thought of that Japanese guy and that survived two of them
Ah doomtowns, the one thing that makes nukes worth it
no way we call of duty irl before gta 6
i feel like most people are aware of this. my question has always been how did the camera hold up at such close proximity to the blast?
I don’t even know what to say in this comment tbh😭 bada bing bada boom
Thats creepy
idk, sterling?
Isn't this in the hills have eyes the opening they show the nuclear bombs and the mannequins?
Thank you for bringing back Repulsive - Forgotten
Didn’t they do these videos on Joe Rogan? There’s a car that disappears in one frame and how did the camera survive?
The cameras were set up inside lead lined containers and used mirrors to capture the footage indirectly.
Idk what car your talking about though.
Rogan will fall for anything. His mind is mush at this point.
To the people watching at night wsp
How did the cameras survive? 🤔
This is crazy
The car behind the house disappeared before the blast and amazingly the camera was completely fine .
Please keep the yellow captions,I love this new design!
Why is everything from the 1950s so creepy 😭
tf is going on in the replies 💀
For real 😔
Fr
My farts are better than IdkSterling’s farts
The 90s we're creepier.
@mr.atomic2970 90s were a vibe, to me at least
In that same time period we were drilled at school to hide under our desks in event of attack. lol
😳Now this kind of devastation scares me the most. All this ghost and ghouls' stories don't got shit on a Nuclear Warhead.
Who got to push the explosion button?
Basically, mrbeast from 1950
Moral of the Story: Always wear protection
so many ''people'' on facebook are calling nuclear bombs fake just cause of this test, its crazy
Was you quoting the word people a shot at the AI users there or what

He brought the creepy music back.
Yeah now imagine instead of using dummies, they used real people. Scary wouldnt it
1:08 black ops 1 multiplayer nuketown - black ops 2 zombies nuketown😂
Just hide in a fridge, you will be rocket launched out of the town

Buuuuut some how the cameras were totally intact right next to a house being vaporised 🫤
Barbenheimer
Example so you don’t have to watch it:it’s nuke town far away from Las Vegas in Nevada.they test nukes there.maniquins were for human test to see what would happen.
Wtf?! The effects on Hiroshima and Nagasaki didn't provide enough hard data for them?
Nuke Town????? 😁😁😁😁
Its what is supposed to happen because they do this so they can test the damage and if its good they use it in war and attacks
This house party was a blast
Must have been one tough camera to be able to take a blast like that? 🤔💭
Think
This reminds me of that one scene in Indiana Jones’s
Mr. Small after popping the bubble
What about the animals that lived around there?
ok how did the camera filming the buildings destroyed survive?
Did anyone else think the of hills have eyes ?
Did they also make a puffer fish mannequin? 🎅🥕🐡
Is James Charles in the thumbnail?
BRO IVE SEEN THIS IN THE PATRICK STAR SHOW

IDKSTERLING RESPECT BUTTON
👇👇👇👇👇👇🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️‼️
How did the camera survive
how did i know this before idksterling da hell
The Hills Have Eyes
Straight up thought of Nuke town
Bomb not strong enough to destroy the camera.
And then some americans would threaten anyone of wishing to nuke on any country cause they are different from them. Cause they are "The Good Guys"
I remember hearing shorts were extended to 3 minutes. Is this supposed to be a short...?
Nobody got harmed? 😂 all those fools that were there watching it got cancer from that
