We shared with our close family and friends... the people I shared with are my support system and while it has sucked having to tell them the bad news, I’m so comforted knowing they are behind me. There is some truth to that..........Often in the US, people are giddy about their Pregancies & so quick to post it on facebook. I think it's better to just be quiet about your Pregnancy & go about your business!!! In most parts of Africa; there's no such thing as Pregnancy Announcement!!!

If there's a miscarriage, why should the mother have to suffer alone if she loses her baby? Like this lady said, it happens a lot. In my culture we don't tell people. We just see a baby bump. You can feel free to tell the world whenever you want to but I know people that have been poisoned etc and had a miscarriage when announced at an early stage. It's a cruel world out here
