WHY THIS VIDEO WAS REUPLOADED: I reupload videos way too often. A lot of it is because I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my videos, since I know a lot of people look forward to them and find them informative (big shout out to you all!). Anyways, here's what happened: The previous upload had two small mistakes. One was mentioning that Moonsault Scramble had the highest G-Force of any coaster and the other was using a picture of Swarm's trains instead of Flug Der Damonen's. I expected to be able to use the TH-cam editor to fix these mistakes with no hassle or reupload. However, my attempt to fix a couple of small mistakes only lead to a big headache for not only myself, but for the thousands of subscribers who had this pop up in their subscription feed. The editor froze, cutting out a bigger chunk of the video than I wanted it to and making it impossible for me to undo the edit. TH-cam does not have a customer support number, so I had no choice but to reupload and make the corrections with my own editing software. Overall, I once again apologize for the inconvenience, confusion, and subscription box clutter. I understand that reuploads happen way more often than they should on this channel and I thank you for your patience once again.
Hey, it's your videos, your channel, and most importantly, your decision, so it's all good, I can't control you, and you just want it to be perfect, so how can I be mad?
OK so basically you're telling whoever's listening, "if you'd like to go down in history as the greatest designer/engineer ever to grace the species, build a rollercoaster with these 10 elements."
Could you do some videos covering the basic elements of costers? Lots of people have done bits but I've never found a video that explains more than just an odd one or two, and I'm always stuck going "why can't I work out what this is called" when riding or looking at a coster.
Badger's Den Have a look at the CoasterForce Table of Elements playlist of coaster vids on TH-cam. It’s exactly what you’re looking for. The playlist only includes ten short vids, but there are several more in the series.
@@dragonfire101g Sadly I wasn't able to ride it because it was shut down for maintenance along with canyon Blaster but I still got to go on slingshot and some of the other rides. The thing I love about this channel is learning that Iraq has cool roller coasters. You'd think that dodging bullets and explosions would fill people with enough excitement for a lifetime, but people still want controlled, safe thrills. Nothing takes away that child like want to spend time at a theme park. It's just so human.
Spiderific! Iraq was quite wealthy under Saddam. So it's not really that surprising. You must be thinking of Afghanistan which likely doesn't have theme parks or coasters.
Still relatively rare, for such an fun element that's not even overly specific. btw, I'm not sure about calling that overbanked thing in Maverick a stengel dive. Shouldn't a stengel dive go a little higher in the air than that? But I'm also not completely sure
I just happened to experience the top gun stall during my first trip to magic mountain this weekend and it’s amazing, I was so lucky to be dueling during that inversion too, made it infinitely better
Great job man! I am glad you used the footage of Hard Rock Park and verbally explained it. If you are doing a live stream this evening, I will be joining. If you are up for doing another joint effort, let me know. Again, great job and really deserving of the views it's getting already.
The story of that park that was only open for a year sounds familiar, I must've read about it somewhere before. It would be really cool if you did an entire video about it!
G force is one of my all time favourites. It might be short but I love the over vertical chain lift element and it has a really nice flow to the rest of the ride
What about the Tilt Platform on Gravity Max? Yeah, sure, golden Horse put that one on a pair of dueling coasters in 2016, but we all know how good Golden Horse ist.
I think you got it mixed up. There are many broken tracks where it stops and go back (eg expedition Everest at Disney), but only gravity max reconnects the track and continues
Theres a lot of versions of unusual and unique coaster videos on this channel, but I think this topic deserves a part 2, especially given some of what's come out in recent years
Guess I am one of the privagaged few, I was in Murtle Beach 10-12yrs ago looking for Hardrock park and stumbled on Freestyle park. It was a blast and I loved a few of their coasters that were unlike anything else I have seen elsewhere. The 1 you mention was cool, and another foot free 2 on each side back to back cart with overhead suspention plus people below paid money to squirt water cannons at your cart. Super fun, wanted to go back but it had disappeared. So sad, it was a great park and glad I got to go the single year it was open. I will say, it was really quiet and the lines were short so I can totally attest to the park having low attendance
Awesome video, man! Once again, you're really improving. Dare I say, you're better than Coaster Studios IMO? EDIT: Did you decide not to use my footage this time around?
Omg yes the lagoon roll I literally live right next to lagoon I go there all the time y'all need to experience that 116 degree drop and four inversions and the lagoon roll omg you feel like your going to fall right out of your seat into the giant waterfall then you go into a cage that gives you a slight spray in the face with water BUT ITS LIKE THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF SPRAY y'all gotta try it
I missed riding the Son of the Beast at Kings Island. I rode it about 15 times with the loop and mostly at night which is my favorite time. I miss it, The Hypersonic and Volcano from Kings Dominion. I love amusement parks the experience is one of a kind especially if you watch old footage from peoples trips it just makes you go man we had such a good ass time.
I live in myrtle beach and we went to hard rock many times how ever when I was younger I didn't ride the rides I would ride today. So I didn't get to experience any of it!☹️ Was also very sad to see the park go.
Even without a dueling aspect, the Top Gun stall feels amazing, a couple of seconds of near-perfect weightlessness. I rode it three times in a row and the feeling never got old. I love it. :) (I've never been fortunate enough to have the trains line up for true dueling on Twisted Colossus; I imagine it'd be quite neat to have that actual Top Gun moment!)

I thought I would see the Free Fall element on this list. I've tried the "Kärnan" in Hansapark, Germany, where you start of going 67 meters straight up, and when you get to the top the cart "free-falls" back down. So you would experience a free-fall ride during a roller coaster. I thought that was quite rare tbh.
So glad to see MaxRPM/Round About on the list. Myrtle Beach has taken quite a hit in tourism over the last decade (starting with the destruction of the beloved Pavilion). Hard Rock park was an eyesore for 5 years standing defunct in an abandon parking lot. (you should never neglect a B&M coaster like that lol)
The lagoon roll also loves to make a loud groan, you can hear it all the way in the employee parking lot, and when the park is closed, you can hear it all the way in lagoon's kiddie land if all rides are not running except cannibal itself when they're doing it's tests
I heard the upcoming West Coast Racers is also going to feature the Top Gun stall, but that's also at Magic Mountain so it'll only be that park which features this element for now.
