I rode both of the B&M Inverted coaster, Batman The Ride at Six Flags Over Texas, Raptor at Cedar Point which I love a lot, Talon Grip Of Fear at Dorney Park in Allentown Pennsylvania, Banshee at Kings Island, and Afterburn at Carowinds in Charlotte NC.
Banshee is my favorite invert! When I rode raptor in September 2022 and when I got off the ride I couldn’t even think for awhile because the ride was rough. Ik a lot of people don’t like Banshees vest restraints but I like them because they don’t cause head banging but they can be a little tight when your sitting on the break run
My plan this year was to visit Florida for the 1st time, but since Epic Universe is opening in 2025, I'll wait until then or 2026. So this year I'm planning to visit California's Great America and King's Island. I've not ridden enough B&M inverts, but of the ones I have, Raptor is my favourite B&M invert I've ridden so far, and I' ridden both English Nemesis's, Silver Bullet and 3 Bat Man clones. Raptor has the longer duration and Banshee has the stats, although It doesn't achieve the top speed after the 1st drop (why Alpengeist has a bigger drop) I've never ridden an B&M invert without OTSRs which I only prefer on B&M Dive coasters, (even if Yukon Striker might be better than Griffon) so I just might like Banshee even better than Raptor. Then again: I'm not much of hang time fan time but I do prefer larger drops, but I doubt it'll make me grey out as much Raptor, and I don't like a coaster to have a rattle, which Banshee is infamous for, even before Diamondback had one. I also prefer the back row of every B&M invert I've ridden so far, and that's where Banshee's rattle is the worst. I guess I'll find out even if I have to remember 5 years ago when I rode Raptor: my 1st coaster to beat every coaster stat I'd yet experienced, to be beaten by 5 more coasters in an hour that day: W.T., the other 3 B&Ms and MF. But to this day: no coaster I've ever ridden has more likely made me grey out than Raptor making the slam into the break in the breaks a shock recovery to quickly end the long ride and bring you back to your senses. I guess I'll find out sometime this June which I prefer. My guess: Diamondback might be better than Mille but not as good as S.V. 😉 If all goes well I'll tell you how they compare then. Thanks for posting!
Nice video, terrific analysis n I completely second your declaration for Raptor, (just an idea many of us know where to ride n how to “defensively” ride Raptor, but many newer or non-enthusiasts do not, perhaps you could attempt to do that if it’s possible in the video format without having a train to sit in n demonstrate)? Anyway great work n I appreciate your efforts!!
Raptor has like one unusually whippy element, right before the final brake run. The rest of it is smooth and intense. Banshee had a light B&M rattle right from opening season which gives me a headache, and it's not as intense or well paced. It's no question in my eyes, Raptor is much better

Gotta love that double helix on Raptor.
My pick Is Montu at BG Tampa 🤣 but honesty I like the crazy Raptor at CP 👍

Banshee for sure. I prefer all inverts in the front row.

im in school watch every cedar point video knowing im going this year
Raptor is number 2 here but let me tell you it’s older and last year 2022 it rode super smooth

As an enthusiast, I prefer Banshee.
Raptor! Very intense invert, the double helix is insane, and it doesn’t have the awful vests like Banshee!
I really hope B&M goes back to their whippy moments on their loopers
I 100% agree with you I’ve ridden both and I know how to ride raptor so it makes it so much fun but I can’t dodge the rattle on the banshee

Thanks, I appreciate the support!
Banshee By Far Its \My 2nd Favorite Invert While Raptor Is My 5th
From an addicted coaster enthusiast the Raptor is way better!!
Raptors final helix is definitely the most fun part in my opinion

I only found the first drop on Banshee to be the most fun part
I don’t remember Raptor being that jerky when I rode it last in 2017
Raptor by a long shot! Banshee is to focused on inversions.
Team banshee

Raptor I love the more intense ones
