    I have the first version of the Trakke after seeing Chase’s review. So glad I bought before they changed it. Trakke make great products

      I am a big fan of theirs - currently also using their Special Edition Cobra Bannoch. The new version of the crossbody does have some nice extra organization inside, which I appreciate. Is yours with the wet wax canvas or the new dry wax?

      @@ofthetraveler wet. Also a bit more compact which suits my needs but may not everyone’s

      Wet waxed canvas is so nice. I am waiting on a wet waxed messenger from Bedouin Foundry. Hopefully the Miami humidity won’t make the fabric mark my clothes.

    Bought the Bellroy mini as the Xpod continues to remain sold out here in US and abroad. The Bellroy is a tank, great feel and metal rings, tightens nicely but at times i need more than 2 liters wiggle room. yesterday i scored the ONLY Xpod up for bin on ebay, like new, can't wait to get it. It was so damn hard to find. Its on-demand expandability for my small frame is a game-changer.

      Congrats on your x-pod find! That’s a sling that works well in so many situations. As a bag enthusiast, I tend to have a bag or sling for every situation, so I found the XPod to be a bit “too much” for me. Just like the X-Pak. Please let me know how it works out for you. Congrats again!

    As much as I’d like to use the Code of Bell, there’s just too much going on there. I’ve been using the Missions Workshop Spar for my sling needs. It works well and attaches to their bigger travel bags which is ice. The Bellroy sling looks nice. Bellroy is an amazing company. Everything they make catches my attention. Good review, thanks for your thoughts.

      I am actually looking to sell the x-pod at this point. My needs have changed and I’d rather roll with a Spar, or Boundary Arclite. You’re absolutely right, lots going on with the x-pod.
      I almost pulled the trigger on the Spar, but my wife vetoed - said it looked like a lunchbox.

      @@ofthetraveler lunch box? Hahaha that’s a new one. I purchased the VX in slate. It’s a nice looking bag and will last a long time. MW makes some amazing gear.

      @@jcpalermo2576 I have a Rhake WX on the way!

      @jcpalermo2576 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ofthetraveler yes! That’s awesome. The Rhake is another bag I’ve been looking at for a long time. Well, at least the VX version of the Rhake. Hard to pull that trigger on bags that expensive, but it doesn’t stop me from fawning over them. A couple months back I decided on the MW Khyte. I debated the The Rhake backpack vs. The Khyte messenger/briefcase for work, but I wear a tie everyday. Figured The Khyte would fit the look a little better. Not unhappy with my choice.

    I'm a type one diabetic too. What do you use if you're out for a good amount of time to carry what you need to? Do you have a particular type of bag you use in your edc? Thanks for your video.

      Ian! A fellow T1D. Good question. Usually, for work, I carry a backpack with me, or especially when I travel. If I am going to be out all day, I’ll take one of my larger slings like the Bellroy or my new Mission Workshop Spar. Both can fit up to 7L, which is quite a bit. I will use a sling since it's the most minimal pack I can take and still carry all my stuff - especially if I am taking my insulin pen in a Frio case, plus my glucose monitor and a bag of skittles. If I am only out for a couple of hours, I’ll take my Trakke crossbody sling, which is slightly smaller. In those situations, I don't tend to bring the Frio case unless it's really hot outside.
      If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

      Ha! I would have, my dude, but I ended up selling it a bit ago. Aside from the Trakke Crossbody, I’m rolling with a completely new set of slings.
