I enjoy my Evergoods CAS2L - it is a well built sling. But, I have been using more of the DATA Snacktime Sling which wins me over every time I use it. The Greenroom 136 Metrorunner is one I have to try.
Love that Metrorunner (I have one in cordura) but you have to consider the Kargo Loculus to top it. Both are monsters, come in xpac, super well built and same size with cool little nooks and crannies but the Kargo has a lot more colors, comes with free shipping from the USA, and often has a discount (mine was $100 shipped a couple weeks ago in coyote xpac). Love anything GR136 makes, too, but this Loculus is a very strong contender and a better choice overall than the Metrorunner imho.
@@Rivales_yup. I got a sling one time for $15 and it broke in less than a month 😂. Now recently bought the aer day sling 3 and best believe it will last for years
I have three Cote et Ciel slings and none of them are very practical. They look awesome but the Isarau hardly has any compartments, and has a tiny thin strap that digs in if you put in anything remotely heavy. The Cote et Ciel Spree messenger is better, but the padding that protects electronics is too heavy. The most practical and good looking slings I've tried are from Bellroy and Alpaka. Crumpler are very good, too.
Was very hard to find for a while back but I recently got my COFB in the new colour way. It is THIS AMAZING! Surprised not on the list as I initially discovered them through Carryology.
You missed two of the current best slings available today, the Instinct X-Pac Tech & Trekking Sling Bag 2.3L and the Matador Carryology EDX sling. The Matador is still available on the secondary market and my favorite sling, the Instinct sling, it is in stock and available right now.
Gosh, we find it hard to include our own collaborations in our buyer's guides (self promotion and all that, ha) but we're stoked you love it because we love it too!
You didn't go over the compression straps of the Atom Sling- that's a major advantage, being able to strap down a folded jacket or sandals or other garment
Be advised Dont get the cote er ciel sling the worst sling I ever collected Terribly uncomfortable to wear it no matter what position and how many times you adjust the strap Especially when it loaded both left and right side will always make you uncomfortable to wear it I will never ever get anything from them now
Out of the Bellroy Venture collection, my favorite sling is the Venture Ready Sling 2.5L. Love this little guy. Perfect for minimal carry days.
Best sling on the market in my opinion. So well thought out.

I think alpaka go sling mini should be in this list too
"My favorites are AER, Bellroy, Heimplanet, WaterField Designs, Banana Trakker, and Evergoods."😝

0:15 What water bottle is this?
It’s the Coloral cycling bottle
That bottle is sick. Looks like a WW2 gas mask canister
Do I need a Bellroy Venture for Disney? Yes. 😂. The Hemiplanet looks great for daily.
They're all awesome but just so expensive
It's probably because of the quality. The cheaper ones I've bought wear out quickly, but these more expensive ones last a lot longer.

Do they offer life warranty?
Murakami is wonderful. 🤓 It’s a mood I like.
Where you get that bag at? Thing is sick
1:19 Does anyone know which handkerchief he is using here? It appears to be made of Japanese-patterned fabric(Asanoha).
That's a Dan Matsuda handkerchief. 🔥

Excellent video!
Thanks so much!
What Haruki Murakami book was that?
Great video and reviews. Kinda quick but informative.
No Code of Bell X-pod???
Great addition - good call!
@@CarryologyTV this sling is my end-game because of that 2-7L expansion !!!

@@andrewt6622 same man i love it! the expansion is really useful for emergency situations
Out here being a legend. This video was one of the best, if not the best, sling bag overviews-perfectly concise and on point. Came in clutch. 🫡
Right on! Glad to be of service. 🙏

What sling is this on the cover photo?
trakke 😊
Bro I can’t find the greenroom one any where lol
Trakke banana
Wow Aer barely made it, and the Pro Sling is big but such a thin strap. Look at the Metrorunner with that beefy strap lol.
Nvm I saw the link and got me one.

Lol what?! Slings for $200-$300??... crazy world...
any sling list without alpaka or black ember is not a serious list
Black Ember is a great call! Their new sling is 👌
POGO PLAYER SPOTTED lol
Is it just me or is 200 bucks for a sling bag crazy???
$$$$$$$ Ridiculous
Fanny packs are not sling bags.
Well, it depends on geography my friend: www.carryology.com/bags/a-beginners-guide-to-edc-sling-bags/
Overpriced fanny pack
What was that thing look like a pokeball 😂 and yeah we need cheaper versions the way you explained I liked to most but more affordable models 🫶🏾
