All that fun shared with us makes me glad I quit working on cars. I'm happy to set back and watch other people open part boxes only to find it's the wrong part and the vehicle's torn apart already. Yay.
I think Gene is one of the coolest off-road team camera guys ! I remember him talking about his roots and about lutefisk!! His calm voice behind the camera is also contributing 😉 Other than that it seems like Jeeps over there and Volkswagens over here (Europe) has something common when it comes to parts ordering 😂
I remember back in the day making a rearend cover gasket out of a life magazine front page couldnt afford parts so we made do with what we had lots of fun
I always break those jeep locker connectors lol. either they get stuck in the housing or I break the part on the inside where the tiny plug goes in the bottom. We have a whole box of spares at work for that reason haha, so don't feel bad
Hey Eric, And yet another off road vehicle is now even more capable. Having a woman like Mara who will grab tools and do a job is unusual but really cool. Take Care
Makes me miss my 2 door JK , Jeeps should have never came with 4 doors! A Wrangler is a 2 door vehicle, unless you're one of the 20 billion soccer moms who drive 4 door Jeeps! Back in 07 , I remember thinking "WTF" and "That looks weird?" We all know who they're target people are, and I miss the days when it was odd or rare to drive a jeep, Not like that anymore! I've given up on the Jeeps! I love my First Gen Tacoma S.A.Swap a lot more than any jeep now, and I'm yet to see another one that looks like mine, and on long Island, I'll probably never see another Tacoma S.A.Swap, but a lot of stock garbage 🗑 but not like my baby! Keep up the good work BSF 👏 You guys rock 🪨
@genedwg6689 Nothing like a nice clean XJ or ZJ , I've had quite a few of them, I miss my 95 2 door stick shift XJ SE , I beat a civic with that one, with no doors!
Eric, you are a good teacher Myra and Gene did great. Come on Eric turn Myra loose on them she will get them up there for you. Good doggy she minds well.
I build custom cork gaskets for my diff covers it normally takes me over night to make it as I glue it to the cover with rtv I make it over sized then cut out the middle so it fits around everything so I can bolt it in place over night for the rtv to set and lock in place then in the morning I take it off trim everything smooth so it won't impede oil flow and I have ran them that way for over 60,000 miles on a single vehicle and over 200,000 miles combined in my vehicles works good
Know Jean I hope that you drive that nice newly lifted jeep carefully for the first thousand miles and get used to how much taller it is and how short of a wheel base it is!!! I definitely don’t want to see you go flipping it over on its lid for sure!!! It’s definitely way too nice to be flipping it on its lid for sure!!! We have had a couple different jeeps over the years!! A CJ7 and a CJ8 we sold one and my brother has one I believe still but not sure since I haven’t talked to him in over 15 years now!!! But that’s ok I guess!!!! Lol!
A few years ago I struggled to find a u-joint that fit into my 2014 JK Rubicon front Dana 44. I tried multiple versions and ultimately I think I cobbled together a complete joint from a few extra shafts I had in the garage. So weird?
why do most off roaders run wheel spacers rather than buy the correct offset wheel looks like would be stronger, safer just better to have correct offset on wheels
Dollars is the reason, or at least one of the reasons. And can I explain the offset I need to the wheel sales person at the store, that he’ll understand? Also I’m aware that there is added maintenance when spacers are used. Your comment is duly noted🧐
And keeping Gene in your channel is the reason I am unsubscribing. I was hoping to see this channel grow and was enjoying the Blondie build, but I'm gone and I don't care to see you in Sand Hollow.
Glad to see, perfect team!!! You and Rory my top favorites last year. Happy to say , this year too!!!

I know it's beyond corny, but I want to say: teamwork makes the dream work
I am so very glad that you have a warm, dry place in which to work.
That lift makes life so much better....you guys are always awesome
Sand Hollow, UT breathtaking views this time of year 👍😎✊
Beautiful dog. She enjoyed helping out.
Great to see Eric taking it easy!
Nice job! Looks like Gene's Jeep is ready for action.
Thats Chrysler for you Gene , one day the company itself will be obsolete ! One can only hope ! Their engineers are a piece of work !
I like seeing your lady working. With. You. She is. A real trooper. Good luck
And better to look at than you old guys
Fine job guy's, Gene's Jeep looks AWESOME. Can't wait to watch you guys at The Games. Thanks for the video guy's.

Gene's jeep reminds me of my old Jeep, Rubydoo.
I remember back in the day making a rearend cover gasket out of a life magazine front page couldnt afford parts so we made do with what we had lots of fun
We used shoebox lids for gasket material...
@@rickhay9782 I remember a Sanitarium Wheetbix box for a 52 Triumph Thunderbird in 1961.
Great job Gene.
you are a very lucky man to have her hope you know that love your show
keep the clips coming
Gday guys

I used to be a GM torque inspector, and would have loved to have had a set of musical wrenches.😎

There was never any consideration to get a 4 dr. If I wanted 4 doors I would have found a Grand Cherokee or Cherokee😉

That dog really wants to help. I thought she was going to start bringing you tools.😅
Thanks for the videos also I would like to comment on what a blessing that lift is!

What is a universal joint? Starbucks, that coffee joint is everywhere.

Its refreshing seeing someone us a torque wrench and not just blast it on with the impact.
Next time, put Your C clamp press in the vise, then use the impact tool or a ratchet to press the u joint cups in, or out.
❤ the videos 😊
Fancy torque wrench
😁👍👍
👍
This comment is to help you beat that darned algorithm 6:11
You didn't show it but I hope you put oil in the diff
Yes we did.

Yes that whole choice of wrong being available🙄
.............Progress!
What's up with Eric? poor guy seems to be exhausted lately . hope he's alright

Where do I donate
Oh, sorry, added link.
Yeah Mopar always wants to sell you the parts like their made of gold and we know they ain't worth the coin we pay for them.
