It's sad cars like that Lincoln aren't made anymore!! We had Lincolns all through the 80', 90's, and on. We seemed to get at least 300,000 miles out of them!!!
Awesome! My 1987 C4 Corvette Z51 is that exact Nassau Blue exterior, over Medium Blue interior. Great combo, if I may say so myself ;). They don't makem' like that anymore.
KC is known for BBQ, but you guys go for corporate Italian? There are probably some good family Italian restaurants there...KC was a Mafia town back in the day.
Fun Trivia- You can program the car dash for a trip from KC to Wichita and it will tell you arrival time. It will compensate for refueling, if you stop overnight or for food. All without internet and will run a full system and light check including high beams and brake lights. My friends parents had one in Vickridge 1980s. We had the 81 Town Car but analog dash.

19.06 the black 86 2 door buick century Wonder how much it's sold for because that's a very nice example of the GM A-bodies (sucks it wasn't a pontiac 6000 STE) but I still dig it 😍

if memory serves the thing that made the little red express truck is that basically it pulled a COPO, a police special type order, and the motors out of a cop car, which might be why it doesnt have air con, the cam might not have enough vacume to run it, given it needs high octane fuel in addition to everything else, otherwise you have to reduce the timing, something I found out from someone who worked on TJ hooker apparently when someone put normal gas in it, only for them to jump and wreck the car afterwards and that motor in particular turned out to be the stunt car crate engine of choice for hollywood in the 90's actually like the nash bridges hero car, had a 340 in it, they blew it in the first episode, and replaced it with a 360 crate, and in the TV show viper, the defender had it switched because of the overheating issues they were having with the special body they had for it and its been popular even since, like the only reliable modern jeeps they made, had basically the modern version of this and I gotta be honest I wonder why people havent taken the new ones motor out, and junked it with an engine swap back to that old motor, so you got the cool new body and styling, fitted with the old school reliability which sounds like something you would have done in the 60's as modern stelantis is a disgrace, like the only good car they ever made was the viper, and then they stopped it to make their fail a minute garbage also the Jeep Gladiator had a problem where it would cook the ECU under the dash would you believe as I am SO glad I convinced my dad, NOT to go for that frigging 300C with all the problems they had plus a V6 named a pentastar, really, as in north star, yeah no lol
Some people put a lot of confidence in odometer reading on old cars. Legally they can be set to any mileage you want. I surprised Euroasian Bob is one of them.
Hey E. BoB, what was your winning bid on that '88 land yacht ?!? The crew over here was very disappointed that you weren't able to hit your $14K mark on the red Benz. Quite frankly, buyers get extremely fearful of the parts and repair costs. As the "Car Wizard" repeatedly states repairs can easily exceed the value of these models. Best of Luck Fella' ! ➡️. 💰 🚘. 💰. - 🤔
@@johnde2754 thanks for trying! Not a problem. It’s a nice car and I can easily retail. Got about $6k in the Lincoln but might need a transmission and other typical deferred maintenance but should turn out nice! See you again soon!
You roll the dice when buying a car from the auction and can’t take it out for a test drive, there only original once and Bob knows what he’s doing so the Town car will be a money maker one way or another ..
