Great vid, thanks for featuring one of my games :) If you press one of the buttons (I forget which) you swim faster (but use up more air!) ... can help getting away from the shark. Filming at different Hz can help with the flicker in videos... overlays definitely help too.
@@vectorrepublic hey thanks for watching, and for making such a wonderful game. I do like coming across different stuff like this👍 Cheers for the tips, I did discover the swim faster button just after making the vid, think I added that to the video in text form. Keep up the excellent work!
Cracking little game isn't it Scott, nicely different to the other stuff and I like the slight feel of the classic Scuba Dive. Like you say great soundtrack too👍
Great to see you Playing your new Vectrex 1:48 Great music in this game, Picture and the sound is coming through great mate, Look forward to seeing you play More Home Brews And other games on the system
Cheers for the feedback Marc, I'm sure I can improve a bit but that's good to hear. Live this game, nice relaxed pace to it(well aside from Jaws trying to take a chunk outta you😅).
Looks the business and the sound is surprisingly good too. I never played with the Vectrex much but I do remember Mine Storm, Scramble and Pole Position being very good.
@@allanmailer4540 yeah I never realised the sound was so good on Vectrex, until recently I'd only played onr in the 80's once so very little memories of it. The homebrew scene is crazy good. I need both Scramble and Pole Position, hopefully a multicart for those as I'm not bothered about collecting for this one.
So underrated at time of release Tetley . One of my top 5 consoles still . Thanks for the video . Did you buy the spike box from Jace @ retrogames ? Was after that myself 😂
@@rusty8ucket haha no not me Rusty, I do have an unboxed Spike but have to admit I'm not fussed about boxes for my Vectrex games as I have no more space as it is😆 Loving the Vectrex and this game is brilliant. Cheers for watching mate👍
Ah that's good James, was in two minds about uploading it. Might be able to improve things a bit, was curious to see how it worked. Great game this, well worth the price imo👍
I've only played the Vectrex once, at the game museum, I can't remember what game it was but the whole room filled with 'PEW! PEW! PEW!' I tried to look cool as everyone turned to look. After 10 mins I realised you could turn the volume down 😂 Good looking game, this
Like the look of this one! Those sharks mean business though 😮. Will check out vector republic; bought frontier (another good one) from them a while back but need to check out what’s new. Bet you’re made up to get the vectrex mate!
Haha yep he was definitely not hanging about when he saw me coming😂 Frontier looks great, might pick that up at some point. I also got Vyrzon from them, that's a blast! Cheers Ed.

The Vectrex is a really sexy little machine. And it's lovely to see the Homebrew community not neglecting it 😎👍
@@GenerationPixel agreed, the homebrew scene for the Vectrex is incredible.

Mate that looks beautiful loving the deep blue and shark 🦈
@@Marathon_Gaming yeah the graphics look great in this don't they, really stylised. Love the animation when the shark gets you😆🦈
Looks decent that mate, glad you are loving the mighty Vectrex!
@@Retro_B8 cheers Paul mate, absolutely loving the Vectrex, don't think I'll ever be without one now😎
@@Tetleesame, it would be one of the very last things to go if circumstances dictated!
Yep I can see why. Plus its all in one compact nature makes it an easy one to fit in anywhere.

Glad you enjoyed the vid🙂
The vectrex is awesome, not a game I've played, great little tune.

@@8-BitRach Rach, legend, where have you been? Haha thanks for watching, the Vectrex is awesome 🙂👍
Been watching other peoples vids instead of making my own haha. Yeah I did like the Vectrex, lovely machine
