@@retroimportgamer513 agree 100% on the overlays, crazy how they can make what os a black and white image look like a proper vibrantly coloured screen. This is my clear favourite so far, looks even better than the camera picks up. You definitely need both this and Vector Pilot once you have the funds James, they're both impeccable!
This game everytime I see it never stops amazing me the attention to detail the music and sound effects and I love the scrolling back grounds too I so need to get this game now I have a vectrex back in the collection Great video as always mate
It's even better than my video shows, difficult to film the screen without it looking flickery and those colours absolutely pop! The amount of the love that must have gone into the development here is incredible.
Looks amazing the difficulty soon ramps up. Those land mines 😱. The overlay really makes it pop 😍. The sequence when you got to the moon base before championship course amazing visuals & sound. Thanks for posting the video & sharing details of how to purchase it 👌🏻

Bought Vector Patrol and Vector Pilot a year ago from Kristoff Tuts and I can say the quality and game play are excellent. If you own a Vectrex these are a must have for your collection.
Whoa, this looks cool! Thanks for this! I really find smooth textureless polygons really charming to look at, but there's something even cooler at looking at these vector graphics on real sharp displays, and even today, despite technology advancing so much, nothing has really been able to surpass how clean these vector graphics look. I always wonder if we'll ever get some sort of successor to the long obsolete vector monitors. The closest I've seen are some light projectors that were trying to emulate these arcade games, and they look really good. And it's a shame the Vectrex was the only vector based console to ever come out. Though it's a no wonder they died out, as raster graphics can do basically everything that they can do, but in more complex detail. I think there's a hobbyist following for it nowadays. Do you know if there was ever a 3D platformer that was made with this vector technology?
@Tromite good question about the 3D platformer, I honestly don't know but would be great to see. Vector Patrol is a beautiful conversion of the classic arcade game, puts all the other ports to shame IMO and as you say it works so well with the vector graphics. @Tetlee No problem! Yeah, I haven't really seen any other games running on vector displays that are fully 3D. I'm wondering, with a higher processing power, is it possible? The only thing I've is a conversion that allows an oscilloscope to run current modern games on there, and it looks great!
