The hill scenario does make sense. When you're facing up hill, it's easier to have the mower pull you up said hill. I have a bumpy yard and locking into a constant speed is also quite nice. If you don't have a smooth yard, Personal Pace is not your friend honestly.
Andrew Miguelez Ahhhhh the mower pulls you up the hill. I guess that works. Instead of what we were thinking about “pushing” the personal pace handle all the way in and it moving. Thanks!
I love my Timemaster. I use the blue traction assist handle when I need to accelerate one handed, like after a 180 turn. I also use it to keep a certain amount of "squeeze" pace control when I load the mower into my truck bed using ramps. It drives right up into the back of my truck easy peasy.
The personal pace is a game changer. Bagging and Mulching are trash. This mower isn’t meant for mulching with all the buildup under the deck. Side discharge is 👍
Andrew Edmonds agreed. Mulching is terrible. You have to be sure that the grass you’re mulching is short and not wet at all. I don’t have any issues with bagging. I use mine for bagging and side discharging. It definitely saves me a ton of time.
I got to use Jeremy's TimeMaster when I was there visiting a few weeks ago. They're definitely a nice mower. I'd love to have one for myself. Great review guys.👊🏻
The Timemaster is my mower of chose.(I have 3) I don't have that new blue lever to engage it on a hill. But it does make sense, who wants to go up hill with that heavy machine. Nice looking out for mama tool. Lawn tools are good sons.
Now we just need to teach Mr Left Tool that you don't need to put the wheels on the inside on your previous pass' wheel line. Put it right up against it. Get that full 30" cut on each pass. Save more time. Every inch counts 😉
lol... you did use it.. it should be the same model, or did they change it since the 2017 model? What was that side discharge action? Lol Bermuda..... it does cut weeds well, good choice Lefty!
Lefty looks natural with the TimeMaster. My Fiskars is a personal pace mower too. "my pace". My Liberty 43 is self propelled and now I have to go at its pace lol. The lawn looks great Lefty.
I have this (for my 13k Bermuda) and the SR (for my Ditch) and love both. The SR is like a toy on weight compared to the TM. I usually start with the TM, then finish with the SR. The TM is like a old muscle car, not perfect as it does have some failure prone parts, but man I still love it!
I like Left Tooland his front yard. Did he even know that he was going to do a video, when you walk down to his house sometimes I think hes not expecting to make a video when you show up. Love your channel.
I almost got one then I went short with the lawn! I have 6k to mow now and the boss liked the long. I don't know if I can go back! Short grass for 4-life!
You definitely get used to the extra weight when maneuvering it around. I tried going back to a super recycler for a fall clean up and couldn't stand how much it bounced around. The Timemaster stays nice and planted on a bumpy lawn....something you short cut lawn guys might not experience ;)
Tank is too small. Engine isn’t as powerful as an HRX Honda. Personal pace is ok, but I prefer hydrostatic Honda trans. Side discharge is nice. Cut quality is very good. I took blue handle off. Width is #1 selling point. If my yard was under 10k I would stick to hrx. Yard being 20k I moved to Timemaster with no regrets. Shutting down is annoying having to hold off, but you get used to it. Best price is to get a 15% off Home Depot coupon code.
Hey Toro! What do I need to do to get you to send me a Toro Timemaster for my 9000sqft lawn?! The Lawn Tools have done an awesome job showing off your sweet lawn equipment.
Never used one but that personal pace feature seems that if you stop your mower will stop too instead of keeping on going when you do want to stop.. am I right..? Cool mower!!!
thimitri1 Yes, it will stop when you stop walking. Like a mower with self propel would if you stop walking (because you would have to let go of the handle if the mower kept going
Not one, but two pairs of safety glasses! Plus earplugs and shoes??? Must be a sponsored video... makes me want to go buy one for sure!!! I do need to find a mower with "personal pace" to try out.
so I been trying to understand why you use so many different mowers, so before the cold season starts its best to keep the Bermuda taller? then in the spring switch back to a reel mower?
Bermuda will be fine no matter what you do. Some people say keep it a little teller through winter. We use so many mowers because toro keeps sending us different mowers and wants us to use them in videos (full disclosure for ya)
@@TheLawnTools Well im going to be mowing almost two acres and I don't have a riding lawn mower tractor so im leaning towards the time master, tell TORO to make them available online again.
Why don't you guys ever mow outside in? Meaning mow around the "outside" road to driveway to house to neighbor and work your way to the middle following the last path? So basically a spiral inward. That way you don't have 180 degree turns and larger mowers don't have to be manhandled as much, and if you don't have a zero turn but a standard riding mower like myself, it makes mowing faster and easier. That would have made your life a bit more pleasant with that specific mower.

At 8:18 that is some powerful side discharge. No need to bag with that thing, just throw the clippings to the neighbors yard.
Always good to have two pairs of safety glasses when the mower has two blades

This guy gets it!

Nice! I knew there were applications! Those are a couple good ones, thanks Derek!
Love my TimeMaster, cut the mow time for my 9K sq ft lawn from 1 hour to 40 mins. Great review from the Tools!

Same model. He was just saying yours was old 😜. Does yours have the blue sponge?
The Lawn Tools yup, she’s on the sponge 🧽

Dang. So we didn’t inspire that 😔. I wonder why they haven’t put it in the super recycler yet 🤔
I am looking at getting the newer super recycler for myself. I like the blade lock ability on it. Great review Tools.

Haha that’s true it’s a personal pace 😁👍🏼
Great content my man. That’s a sweet mower. Defiantly could use that in my back yard.
I'm wanting to get my hands on one of those mowers before the spring hits next year. That mower is great for those smaller yards with very small gates

Pretty cool, but would love to see it used on a lawn that’s taller.

Super time recycler !!!
What do you mow that Bermuda at? 1”?
i had been yes. but this mow was done around 1 1/2
Awe I heard my name 😊
The timemaster is a freakin awesome mower. Bigger gas tank would be nice, other than that it is money
The Lawn Whisperer
Yea I was surprised how fast that gas tank filled up!
Get a 60" and save 80% time
Love my TM!

Every video of this thing mentions the tiny gas tank. Why hasn't Toro updated that?
Hmm, mine didn't come with a Toro hat
Looks like a great push mower! I wish I had the $ for it. Lol.

Yes the price does indeed reflect the quality 😬
True. You get what you pay for.
18k of yard Timemaster was clutch. #bigyardprobs #sizematters
Why is he wanting to keep it taller durning the fall ???

I think summer fatigue is setting in and in the fall it just feels kind of good to let it go and relax instead 😂
