Nothing better than a festival! Looks like something for everyone, especially for the wine drinkers among us! And it looks like a nice day. Nice town too from the looks of it. I noticed a wood fired pizza place...out favorite! I think HW should have gotten on one of those ponies. Thanks for the walk.
@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue You can walk away with a much lighter wallet that’s for sure. Yeh plenty of pizza joints around Sydney. Haha they wouldn’t let HW on one of those ponies.
Nice stoll around the festival, HW. The food prices seemed a bit steep; $10 for a potato on a stick... I wouldn't mind a lobster roll, though. Our local street festival is this Sunday; I'll think about doing a video if the weather is OK. I honestly didn't notice any difference with the Linear setting. 🐓👍 Jim.
Great to see.your Crow's Nest video, looks really inreresting. My muum loved strolling round the shops and markets much to the annoyance.of my dad who hated shopping.I used to find it boring after a while, prefering to get what i was looking for and then getting out of the crowds as soon as possible .I thought some of the food. and drink prices were really pricey .$7 for a lemonde is roughly around £4 here in the UK.Its a bit chilly and damp here in East Yorkshire in the UK. @@HazelKitching I don’t mind the shops myself. But I usually have a plan and it’s compulsory to stop for coffee. It’s been cool here too. We had the odd hot day earlier in the month. But only fleeting. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Hi HW, Thank you for the visit to the market. I love going around markets looking for a bargain. It seems there wasn't, as usual much food for people with food allergies, but the miso looked okay. I don't know much of the prices in Australia, but were the market prices average? The donuts looked very tasty. I like both of the camera filming. We have high winds here in Yorkshire.but not cold yet. 🙏
@@carollizzi6494 I wasn’t looking too hard, but there would have definitely been some healthy options around for people with food allergies. I thought most of the food prices were sky high for a market. Good luck with your high winds.
Hi HW, It looked pretty busy but it could have been manic if it were not for Metro being closed for maintenance. As others have mentioned the prices seem a little steep but I suppose it depends on how much the vendors have to pay the local authority for the permit to put a stand there.
@hwtours Also, I wonder if the vendors have an agreement that they all charge pretty much the same price so no one seller takes a large part of the business at the expense of the others.
I was so ready to answer that person that wrote about boring boring boring and say why are you watching then 😂 go and amuse yourself somewhere else lol ….but I can’t see it anymore, probably removed by you or TH-cam . Was another nice vid and I am one of those that would also hang around food & drinks joints 😅
@@brenl5727 It was mostly about food trucks, stalls. They were pretty expensive too. I thought street food was supposed to be cheaper. Obviously not. Thanks for watching.
@@HazelKitching Yeh these food trucks have lost their mind. It’s supposed to be cheap street food. But who knows, maybe the organisers charge too much for the rent.
