Those little pies are epic. My favourite cheap eat in Eastwood. And yep as someone else mentioned Lims Bakery is closed for the next couple of months due to renovations.
Yeah, we were so glad we tried them and we almost didn't get the chance! We visited them in the morning and the morning staff didn't speak english and we didn't think they wanted us filming there. We gave it another go in the arvo and thankfully spoke to the owner, who was lovely. We'll definitely be back here!
Pineapple bun is not pineapple favored, it has nothing to do with pineapple. It is called ‘pineapple’ only because of the cracked crust on the top look like a pineapple surface.
There shouldn't be any pineapple in HK pineapple buns. The pineapple is derived from the bun looking like one on the surface (grid). I am surprised you could smell it when there's no pineapple at all. Maybe the pineapple scent came from a dish at the next table perhaps?
😱Oh dear, perhaps I smelt what I wanted to smell rather than what I actually smelt! We had a durian bun in another video and that one had an unmistakable smell! -Jon
Grilled meat pie & pineapple buns are weekly go to place. Nice picks👏
Thanks! Both spots were so good! Whilst the pies were a bit more than $10, we just had to include them, they were awesome! -Jon
Welcome to Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩
@@AgusGundul-dd5cw We haven't had the pleasure of visiting Bali as yet, we must be the only Aussies who haven't!

😱I feel like a muppet! My nose was playing tricks on me. Yes, I see now the likeness of the crust, thanks for watching and letting me know! -Jon
Oh no the pineapple bun has fooled you. 😂
Sounds like it did!😳 My nose is playing tricks on me! I'm going to have to try it again, any excuse to visit Kowloon again as it was yummy! -Jon
Yummy 😋
Thanks for watching!😀
Lim's Hot Bread is currently closed for renovations, reopening in Feb/March 2025
Thanks for letting us know. Glad we got in before their closure. - Jon

Not bad for 10$ keep up the good work on the video.
Thanks for watching Robert!
Did you have a nightmare of a time trying to get parking in good old Eastwoo 😂😂
We took the train instead! Parking can be a headache in Eastwood, especially on weekends!
No decent vegetarian food, sadly speaking 😅
Yes sadly, we didn't feature any veg food in this vlog. We do aim to do vegetarian dishes most of the time, sorry about that.
