I was gonna finally finish watching the older vids but saw this one and couldn’t resist….. well this heat in the winter ,that is hotter than our summer ,right now we have 26 degrees . I totally agree with you on the congee beach being the best. I like it a lot. I enjoyed the scenic drive to the beaches ( especially going to Coogee ) 😍. I truly like these kinds of videos very much. Thanks again HW 🙏😂
Hi HW Thank you for showing us the beach. The sand looked so clean. I haven't been to the seaside for many years, so watching the waves roll in and seeing the sunshine out on the beach cheers me up. The weather here has been beautiful here today, warmer than usual, in Yorkshire, in England. Enjoy the weekend. 🙏
Thanks, HW....this video really touched my soul because this area is in my soul. You couldn't imagine the hours I spent at these beaches. I also used to go to Clovelly a lot purely to swim, summer and winter. Also, I'd run from Coogee to Bondi and on the way back would run up the hill in Waverly cemetery repeatedly, stopping to do push-ups before continuing on to Coogee. And I'd range over the terrain south of Maroubra, past Prince Henry hospital, have a swim, and then through the NSW gold course to La Perouse. Thanks again HW.
@@glenemma1 I’m glad. Me too. I used to run through Waverley Cemetery regularly. Back in those days the path around the edge was narrow. So it was easier to run the grass paths between the headstones. I used to collect lost golf balls in Coast, Randwick and St Michaels. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Great walk HW . Love Sydney Beaches. Takes me back to when I lived there for a year in 1980. I used to walk along the cliffs from Bondi to Bronte every weekend. Particularly love Tamarama Beach & Coogee. Nice one mate 👍
Hi HW,love Bondi beach,it looks beautiful.Wish we were having that weather in the UK,it's been sunny but quite cool around 18 degrees.Coogie beach looks beautiful.Thankyou for the video HW. Best Wishes Hazel from the UK
Wow that’s hot for winter. the beaches always look clean, even Bondi that gets thousands of visitors. Thinking about it when I’ve been in Oz, wherever I’ve gone is clean, no rubbish on the streets.
Hey HW... nice looking beaches. I hope you don't mind that Sue and II sent some of our hot South Carolina weather down to you guys LOL. Maybe a sign of things to come for you guys!
@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue It was a nice enough distraction from Winter. But I hope we get a nice Spring before Summer. A run of max 25 degc would be preferred.
@@logocafe7624 Yep I prefer the Eastern Suburbs beaches. Grabbed a few coffees from the Grumpy Baker Maroubra. They seem to be dominating . They have like 11 locations now.
What a glorious day to be on a beach. Our summer is just ending and I'm not sure we had many days with that kind of heat; at least not where I am. To think that it'll only get hotter for you guys during the coming spring and summer!
@@vinbar35Hey Vince. Was 30deg c today, 28 yesterday. Just putting together what I filmed this arvo. Will get it up tonight if I can. Depends on processing time on the tube.
@@hwtours Looking forward to it as I'm taking a break from cleaning up, after having a new bathroom put in, and looking out at a grey overcast, drizzly and windy day here. So I' totally not jealous:).
The main reason for the hot summers (and an additional 7% in solar UV intensity) in the Southern Hemisphere is the Earth's elliptical orbit around the Sun. So yeah, we are actually a bit closer (3.4%) to the Sun during our summer than they are in the Northern Hemisphere. Also the size and location of Australia has an effect on the weather. The hole in the ozone layer is smaller than it used to be, and is much further south.
29 degrees in winter is ridiculous in Sydney we got 40 degrees in winter in Australia in Broome with this recent heatwave that has come in. Crazy shit climate change is here.
Just amazing, and it is even hotter in Brisbane 35 celcius! I still have to do the Bondi to Coogee walk, I will need to come well prepared with sunhat and proper UV blocking clothing!
It actually got over 30°C in parts of Sydney, yesterday. I reckon there would have been a few sickies chucked. One of the perks of working for myself, is that I can start and finish whenever I want...so I headed to the beach around 11 yesterday, myself. I was trying to will on the Rabbitohs against the Panthers last night...I'll support any team against the licorice allsorts ! 🔴⚪️🔵 Jim.
Water temperature today was 18.4 degc/65.2 fah. It's still supposed to be Winter.
