The restraint system isn't great, but I've never had a problem with head banging. 6. It was closed when I went last year so I don't know. I can't imagine it will be better than kingda ka though. 5. Ah man, I grew up going to this park. Such nostalgia watching these rides. I remember when Bizarro opened as Medusa, my mom and I went on it so many times and loved it. Still one of my favorite coasters at that park. Ultimate Flight was cool, but I definitely remember getting slammed down into the restraints a couple of times the first time I rode it. Nitro can be awesome, but that damn first hill psyches you the f out, especially if you have issues with heights like I do lol. And yeah... I grew up in this area, born in 89. I forget what bizzaro used to be called, it was green and purple. This ride has been the smoothest in the park ever since its inception, plus the M roll is one of the most fun elements ice ever experienced in a park. SHIT PRETTY SURE IT USED TO BE CALLED MEDUSA now that I'm talking about it. Glad you enjoyed it man, that ride has a special place in heart :] Also ALL HAIL KING NITRO!!!
Yep, used to be called Medusa. I’m guessing it was rethemed because another Medusa Floorless coaster opened up in California with the same colors. I’m guessing this isn’t why though because of the 20 billion Batman: The Ride clones.

In my opinion Bizzaro is insanely underrated! Bizzaro is one of my favorite rollercoasters and I always saw no lines and I do like it having no lines, I just feel like no one rides it.
Bizzaro (Medusa) was brand new when I first started going to GA and had a season pass. I was always so annoyed at how long the line for it was because I absolutely loved it. I went back recently after a long absence (lived in another state for a while) and was sooo pumped the lines were so short. Must have ridden it 5 times in one day.
My top 9: 1. Nitro (high, fast, long ride layout, smooth, great seating restraints, incredible air time) 2. El Torro (a great first drop, great track layout, throws lots of surprises at you) 3. Bizarro (so fun and smooth, the loops are incredible) 4. Kingda Ka (The launch is the most intense experience of any ride in the park, even if it is a short ride) 5. Batman (silky smooth and intense throughout) 6. Green Lantern (A fun experience for a stand up coaster) 7. Superman Ultimate Flight (overrated in my view, not that fast and only 2 loops) 8. Skull Mountain (eh, in the dark coaster and not all that) 9. Runaway Mine Train (a coaster more for younger kids) I have not ridden Dark Knight and Joker yet, so I left them out. Nirto and Torro are very close. I choose Nitro because I think it is better all around. It is a little longer and I also am a big fan of the floorless coasters. Kingda Ka is at least top 5 IMO. Sure, it is short and maybe a little rough. However, the launch is the most intense ride experience in the park. You also have to include the anticipation on the launch and the height is incredible when your at the top. But the ride is just too short to beat out my top 3.
Rode Kingda Ka 3 times yesterday. It was amazing in the front and the roughness there eas bearable, but the other 2 times I rode it in a car further back, and it was pretty bad. You need to ride it in the front to really judge this coaster. Especially with the anount of wind, it's crazy.

El Toro is absolutely hands down the best coaster there, but the restraints SUCK! UNCOMFERTABLE AS HELL, but with good reason. The forces are insane. You need those restraints for this ride.
I was next in line for Superman waiting a SUPER long time in line and I was goin up next but then the ride broke and the people on it couldn’t get off and they weren’t able to sit up :/
The original “Medusa” was way better than “bizzaro”. They literally just added annoying speakers that takes away from the experience and changed the color. What a dumb “upgrade”
Valravns Breakrun is similar to Nitros bc its so jerky and stops then moves and stops and moves etc. Though Valravns is worse bc it has vest restraints
Haven't been since 2015, well before the joker but I agree mostly. Kingda Ka was terrifying I was freaking out even before I sat on the ride and when it took off I cried.... Once and done! My little bones can't take it no more lol

Very true, El Diablo is a Larson super loop which is a flat ride that many people call a fire ball.
And people call it the scariest ride ever because it's 360 degrees, if you can ride that you can ride any coaster with inversions.

In my opinion Bizzaro is insanely underrated! Bizzaro is one of my favorite rollercoasters and I always saw no lines and I do like it having no lines, I just feel like no one rides it.
Bizzaro (Medusa) was brand new when I first started going to GA and had a season pass. I was always so annoyed at how long the line for it was because I absolutely loved it. I went back recently after a long absence (lived in another state for a while) and was sooo pumped the lines were so short. Must have ridden it 5 times in one day.

1. Nitro (high, fast, long ride layout, smooth, great seating restraints, incredible air time)
2. El Torro (a great first drop, great track layout, throws lots of surprises at you)
3. Bizarro (so fun and smooth, the loops are incredible)
4. Kingda Ka (The launch is the most intense experience of any ride in the park, even if it is a short ride)
5. Batman (silky smooth and intense throughout)
6. Green Lantern (A fun experience for a stand up coaster)
7. Superman Ultimate Flight (overrated in my view, not that fast and only 2 loops)
8. Skull Mountain (eh, in the dark coaster and not all that)
9. Runaway Mine Train (a coaster more for younger kids)
I have not ridden Dark Knight and Joker yet, so I left them out. Nirto and Torro are very close. I choose Nitro because I think it is better all around. It is a little longer and I also am a big fan of the floorless coasters.
Kingda Ka is at least top 5 IMO. Sure, it is short and maybe a little rough. However, the launch is the most intense ride experience in the park. You also have to include the anticipation on the launch and the height is incredible when your at the top. But the ride is just too short to beat out my top 3.
Rode Kingda Ka 3 times yesterday. It was amazing in the front and the roughness there eas bearable, but the other 2 times I rode it in a car further back, and it was pretty bad. You need to ride it in the front to really judge this coaster. Especially with the anount of wind, it's crazy.
Im already planning a Great Adventure trip even though I probably won't be able to go here in years
it lives up to the hype, when you go make sure to get a fast pass and go on all of the good coasters

Is it necessary to buy the fas lane in September? Thanks!
Which way did you take? You basically just want to take the turnpike south bound like you’re going down the shore. But I’m sure you figured it out with all the simple navigation apps out there lol

Honestly, Kingda Ka and Bizzaro are my favorites.
Try riding Nitro and El Toro in the back for the awesome airtime. The front of nitro still gives decent airtime, but isn’t as cool of an experience.

El Toro is absolutely hands down the best coaster there, but the restraints SUCK! UNCOMFERTABLE AS HELL, but with good reason. The forces are insane. You need those restraints for this ride.

I went to Great Adventure yesterday. Whenever we flipped or turned, my head would come off of the seat and then it would slam back on.
Fun fact Batman the ride now goes 80mph and the Jersey devil coaster was amazing. As a local I recommend you coming back.
Great video : Nitro is amazing. That drop is incredible. Ka is a must in the front. Totally different ride. Rode them all except the joker. No thanks.

I was next in line for Superman waiting a SUPER long time in line and I was goin up next but then the ride broke and the people on it couldn’t get off and they weren’t able to sit up :/

Haven't been since 2015, well before the joker but I agree mostly. Kingda Ka was terrifying I was freaking out even before I sat on the ride and when it took off I cried.... Once and done! My little bones can't take it no more lol
