The reason Melman was so clumsy in New York was because he was wearing tissue boxes as shoes (like the germaphobe he is), as as we know those boxes have NO friction on them.

Interestingly Fossa are not lions like I imagine many thought (including me); even if they got a very mini-cougar appearance, they actually aren't related to them at all, but are more related to Civets, Mongooses, and Hyenas! Makes sense that they're scared of an apex predator with that in mind. The movie got the fact that they are primary predators to lemurs right too. They're funky little guys and super underrated. :D Also kinda funny I never learned Zebras were black with white stripes until I was an adult. Given their nose is the tell since it's their skin. Which is about right.

What you mean is they aren't visible because the bright lights are light pollution. But say you go to somewhere like Hawaii, the stars and all are so damn beautiful :O (IK you probably meant that, but ya know)

It would make sense to start with the jurassic park movies then move on to jurassic world. Without that it could be kinda confusing, especially considering the last jurassic world movie has people from jurassic park.

The hippo's actually the one least likely to survive falling off the boat. Hippos can't swim. They're so dense and heavy that they sink to the bottom, which lets them sprint at full speed at the bottom of rivers. If she fell into the ocean anywhere but a beach, it would be too deep for her to reach the surface to breathe.
The only thing that really kept the 4 alive was the wooden crates because they type of wood used for the crates is buoyant enough to keep the animals afloat

@AkinReacts those small predators that look like cat's are fossa's they are the only native mammalian predator on Madagascar 🇲🇬 they are very good at hunting lemurs. An even though fossa's look like cat's they are not actually cat's at all, they are actually more related to the mongoose, civet, and hyena. The reason why they look like cat's is because of convergent evolution which is when a species occupies the same niches and adapts to in a similar way in response to similar selective pressures. So an animal like the fossa managed to evolve similar traits and physical appearance to cat's even though they aren't related to them at all.
I think you mean mongosees. Fossas' closest relatives are viverids like mongosees and meerkats which are all part of the felineform order. Weasels may look like mongosees but that's only cause they have similar lifestyles
There are stars in New York but there’s so much light pollution you’d be lucky if you can see them. If you go to upstate New York though there’s many many stars
