Underrated part of the franchise's lore. Maybe my second favourite series after TOS?
I don't know if I'd put it as high as you, but I agree it's underrated and totally deserves a lot more love than it currently gets.
I have tried a couple of times to watch it but never got far with tas.
It's an acquired taste for sure, but I think it captures the spirit of TOS. Even if the animation is a bit shit.
