I have a 2006 LBZ, I'm the only owner, 272,000 miles, mostly stock. I turned down a serious $35k offer because it would cost 2x+ that to get a new truck I like and trust. I'd rather put $30k into engine trans and frame restoration efforts than buy a new truck. I love seeing these builds.

I talked to wife to let me do this to my own 2003 CCSB, 315,000 mile Duramax. It’ll take me several years but it’ll do everything a new truck can do, maybe better!

Spent $37.5 k for my 2008 GMC LMM. Pristine truck with 95k miles. Put about $6k into modifications. Worth $50k now. Very fast truck. Love ya master. Good new year at ya.

2004 standard cab red Chevy duramax with 300,000 miles and Minnesota rust went for $4300 at consignment auction in June 2022. My brother bought a totally trashed one with 400,000+ miles in 2021 for $2000
