One day the sun will come again Peter. One day! 🌞 Dermot was a lovely lad and quite happy for you to sort his foot out. Have a great Easter and a lovely time with the family and don't eat too much chocolate. 😊
Good heavens, kicked in the face, how on earth are you still with us Peter! Not a job for the faint hearted, so, how many horse do you work on in a day Peter? Really enjoy your videos, and seeing the beautiful horses, and places you work, would absolutely love to visit the UK someday! Beautiful country, thank you Peter, and a very happy Easter to you and your beautiful family, don't eat too much chocky😂 take care.👍💙🐎
@@jenniferdnoseworthy2348 wow! Your cousin and Peter must be very strong willed people! When I hear someone gets kicked in the face by a horse, well, it just doesn't sound good at all!! Hope your cousin is back to full health now.❤️
Ouou! What a gentle and good boy! His hoof all trimmed up, neat and tidy! The crack is gone. Excellent job as always! Happy Easter to you and your family Peter. Wish yoi all the b 6:45 est.🙂
Happy Easter to you and your family, Peter!! I'll be home for Easter dinner, right now I'm in Banff National Park re-certifying my 2 S&R teams for the year. So i wish you a Happy Easter now, as ill be traveling home on Saturday!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Great video that split definitely looked so much better ❤ nothing better than the English weather 😂😂 hope you and the family have a great Easter weekend
Thank you Peter. Amazing what I have learned from watching your videos. Keep on doing what you are doing because I know I enjoy the commentary that describes the work you are doing. The personal touch is a bonus. Sorry about that kick in the teeth. Also it is nice to learn the horses name, age and to see him/her. Keep cracken on with the videos.
I am always amazed to both watch a farrier work, and that anyone would ever want to put a horse hoof that close to the family jewels. Skill and bravery.
Thank you so much for this video! My horse had a similar looking crack on his front leg on the right and I tried copying what you did to tidy the crack up as well as I could and it worked. My trimmer comes back in 2 weeks and I didn’t want to bother him as he lives quite far away.
Hello Peter and Dermot. I am fairly new to your channel. I enjoy watching you work on the horses. They are my favorite animal. Are any of the horses excited to see you? Such beautiful animals.
Very nice job on Dermott Peter. Did you have to stop and do his other three hooves another time due to the pouring rain? I can’t believe how soaking wet it was there and how incredibly muddy! Yuck!! A horse kick in the face? Oh that had to really hurt!! I’m happy you’re okay. Happy Easter!! 🐰🐰🐴🐴❤️❤️❤️❤️
That's a crack and a half! But a nice finished job, all the same. Was he lame at all when it happened? The leverage on the hoof wall must've been tremendous! Been like that weather here in Lancashire for days on end. Forecast nice for tomorrow, though - we'll see!
It might be just another work day for you, but it’s always a treat for me to watch your videos. ✌🏻🎨☕️
Thank you 😊
Well done Dermot you did pretty good standing and a great job as always Peter ..
Thank you Marie. I don’t think he was to happy about the rain today 😂
Dermot did pretty good tolerating his trim😊 looks much better. Thank you Peter.❤❤❤
Thank you Suellen 😊
Dermot being a giant Labrador at the start and giving you kisses. He clearly adores your spa treatments.

My cousin got kicked in the face by a horse. She was in hard shape for a long while

Yes the kick in the teeth was not a good day for me. Thank you have a great day 😊
Loved seeing ‘your office.’ What a beautiful area.

Good job. That hoof is much better.
I always love you office Peter no matter the weather. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend! ❤
Excellent job! That horse seems very friendly too!😊
Great trim and great video thank you

Always a great day watching you take care of horses.
Thank you for another enjoyable video. Your office view could be in the west of Ireland! 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Thank you 😊. Just a normal day for the north of the uk 😂
Love watching you do your job
Good afternoon I’m new to your channel and I know nothing about horses, but I found this absolutely fascinating to watch.

Great work as always

Hark at that rain! Seems never ending here, doesn’t it - glad I don’t have to stand out in, but sorry you do 🌧️

Thank you. He surprisingly not lame at all. Nice to know the weather will be better tomorrow I don’t have to check my phone now 😂.
@@Peterthefarrier haha, where are you? I don't think its going to be like that everywhere - I read about 70mph winds in Devon & Cornwall, and snow!
Don’t want to say exactly where I am at. But I love eating out at weekends at a little town called Chorley 😊
@@Peterthefarrier I thought some of the landscapes and scenery were vaguely familiar.
What a dream of an office view. Question: Do you find more and more owners are having their horses go barefoot?
Not really I have a good mix of shoeing and trimming on my books. It just seems people like the trimming videos more 😊
@@Peterthefarrier ahhh that makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to reply :)
I ❤ watching you work. Just a question, are there female farriers?
Dermot is a joy! Have ya seen the breadstick goat lately? LOL
This is so interesting to watch. Do you train the horse to stand there as you work on the hoof or does it naturally 'know' you're helping?
I love watching your videos. How young do you start trimming or shoeing the horses?
Do most places have an indoor area for you to work in so you're protected from the weather?
That horse looks like it needs cuticle remover. 😅
They’ll never evolve thumbs if you keep chopping them off, Peter
