    Wow, this is exactly what I need, thanks for the step-by-step video, I bought all I need to do it on my Mitsubishi Lancer, I’m just waiting for a sunny day ! ☀️

      Awesome. I traded in the Lancer for the Mistubishi Outlander last year. And I PlastiDipped those emblems too.

      @@RayValencia Nice ! I was looking for purple logo and accessories for my car, but the Plasti Dip seem easier to find in purple and to do it myself 😇

    Well edited video, informative and not too long. Exactly what I want to do with my Lancer, so it helps to see the results and how it's done :)

      Yes, awesome. Cheap and easy mod that really makes the logos look badass. I recently got a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander and I did same thing to the emblem on my new ride too!

    I'm going to do this on my new eclipse cross.....front and back. It came stock with black with rims, and I'm gonna color match the diamonds on each rim. Its going to look pretty sweet when I'm done!

      It's gonna look awesome. I traded in my Lancer last year for the 2020 Outlander Limited Editiion, also with the black rims and trim. Did the PlastiDip on the Mitsubishi logos!

    Do you peel everything off before or after the 4 hours?

    Great video man! Your editing is very professional. I made a video of me plasti-dipping my F-150 emblems on my channel too. Subscribed!

      I sold that car several years ago for an Outlander to haul more camera gear

    Hey man, just did this out when it was time to peel it came off my badges too

      That's Weird. How many coats did you do? It takes 3-4 good DRY coats to make it stay. I had it on my old Mitsu. Lancer (in this video) then I did it again to my Outlander and it's still on there just fine, 2 years later.

    How did the plasti-dip hold up against car washes?

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good. I traded this car in for an SUV in 2020, and Plasti-Dipped those emblems too! And Still holding up!

    Great Vid and love the camera quality. One question how long after your final coat do you start removal ? Going to be doing this soon and dont want to mess up lol

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After 3-4 coats, wait 30 minutes for it to dry after each coat, including the final coat, then you can pull off the access plastidip. After you remove excess, it takes 4 hours to fully set before you get rain on it or anything.

      Thanks for the tips. Finally plasti dipped my badges and they look amazing. Also debating if I should black out the front emblem as well but I blacked out the front grill so Im thinking it might blend in to the point where you wont even see the badge.

    Love the video! Im gonna do the same thing tomorrow. Did you waited 30minutes between every coat, or just between the first and second one?

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did the logo on my new Outlander, but I still need to do the lettering. Yes, I waited 30 min between every coat too
