This was really cool, it reaffirmed some things I've learned about brain health, and it helped me put the similarities and differences in men and women's health in perspective. I'm male but I plan on being the best husband and father I can be one day, so it's important for me to understand things about the needs of the opposite sex, as I want to be as supportive as I can be. Thank you very much for making this content, I'm probably gonna watch it again in the future! God bless!

Absolutely loved this episode, I remember Lisa from the Davina McCall menopause series she did. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I really need to “feed my brain” I’ve taken so much from these episodes and your videos, thank you ☺️

Thanks! I've listened to a lot of Lisa's talks, so it was nice to have a link straight to the crux of this talk.

Do you think that woman's needs (mental, emotional & physical) have been acknowledged and treated as equal to a man's in most societies? A common theme I have noticed is, "If you want to be equal, we will treat you as a man and don't complain if you don't like it because you wanted equality". I think equality is when the needs of both men and woman are respected as equal. I suspect that once this is achieved general health in women will be improved.

The demands made by the women themselves are wrong. They want *equality* with men. But I say, try to ask for *equity* with them. Cuz the biological differences between men and women are sufficient enough for the "different" treatment of both sexes in (or by?) the society. Elders *suggested* women shouldn't have rough life, that it will cause them health problems. But people just don't get it - it is *suggested* to women to have a simple and indoor (comfortable in my opinion) life for being, but should never be *obliged* to such obligations. Ultimately, it should be up to her whether she wants to have that lifestyle. If she is comfortable, allow her. It's her life, her wish. *(this applies to men too)*

I enjoyed several things but a couple of points that stuck out were, women’s bodies are more than just different body parts, their systems and even symptoms could be very different from men. Also it was weird to hear that terminology a “bikini medicine” and the paradigm still being present for today’s awareness and knowledge.

Could a factor be related to the fact that women try more nutritionally restrictive diets, eat less quality proteins and fats like beef and pork?.
