The 14 Pro Max is my first big phone coming from a gen 1 SE and I love the big screen and bigger battery!
That black app theme is awesome looking.
My father's experience was terrible with this phone.
He was coming from the XS Max. Super excited and all.
Only uses his phone to make calls, text, listen to music, surf the internet, set timers/ alarms, watch YT for an hour or so, and test his Code and other developments on the phone. Max screen ontime 2 hours. 3 hours once in a bluemoon.
His 14 PM overheated, throttled and froze like crazy. Battery life was shit. It got warm to the levels where you literally had to just keep it aside for some time. A lot of apps glitched and were buggy as you mentioned.
We went to the service center multiple times. They hard-reset the phone 2-3 times I think.
Finally, they said that it'll have to be sent to some other city for 2 weeks, and would cost somewhere around a $200.
My father, who's a professional and works a job, said hell no.
Got an S23 Ultra during Holiday sales for a really good price.
He's really happy and satisfied with that phone.
His only 2 qualms. 4 years of OS Updates, and not being seamlessly in the Apple Ecosystem.
I don’t know what it is, but even with tiny (child size) hands, I still ended up going with pro max and weirdly it’s the best. The square edges make it EASIER to hold and grip (when not using a case). Im just more comfortable with the larger size despite my initial reservations.

I'm a lot grown now, I'm about to buy a new iPhone so I'm researching and I just remembered about you. I had to.
Your channel continues almost the same, if feels like home, not 'artificial' or commercial. Just home, comfortable, kind like hearing a 'friend' not someone that wants to sell you something, it's an interesting experience.

I just bout the IPhone Pro Max and man I love this thing. The phone doesn’t really seem that big once you get used to it. It’s a beast on Battery and Performance.

For many people the most important apps are social media.. and those definitely work the best on iOS.. no doubts on that.
Still using my 12 mini, and agree that the form factor is perfect for iOS and for me. Its my second phone to my S23U. Both work well for my needs 😊
So which one do u think it’s better between s23 ultra and iPhone ?
@@brucelin5842 well, each have their use cases. iPhone is super convenient and my travel phone, and i use it as a no-frills device and it still takes nice enough camera shots. The S23U is much more convenient for me coz i use a windows pc and its drag and drop without the need for iTunes. Plus i use the S pen for taking notes during work and meetings so it ticks all the boxes for me. This also depends on the ecosystem you have invested in. Get Apple if you already use a mac, and want to get Apple TV, apple watch, etc. For the rest of the world on windows, android is the way to go 🙂

They can at least give the base models 90hz but the 14pm experience has been positive on my behalf if they don’t drop a 15 ultra I’m going to keep it another year

I've had a google tv at my girl's place for a few months and I think the apple tv 4k I've had for over a year is still my favorite tv box. It's so consistent , quick and smooth. The google tv dongle has hiccups here and there. Also it isn't able to connect to Ethernet unless you get your own dongle which is still only capped at I think 100Mbs down anyway.
Yeah Apple TV is great, although I’ve been having issues with the remote randomly disconnecting every once in a while. I like the Chromecast with Google TV for the price!
How does it compare to your pixel 7 pro as an overall package and daily device ?

After reviewing of your video regarding 14 pro max ,I surprised because I use my 14 pro max since 1/1/2023 and until today 02/09/2023 my battery 🔋 health is 97 %.That means most probably you don’t use daily your relevant mobile phone 📱.
Since 6 months the battery 🔋 is 100%.
After passing two months more the battery 🔋 Suddenly drops to 97%.
Especially for the iPhone 📱 14 pro max I expect more battery allowance.
The performance of relevant battery is exactly same with my previous iPhone 📱 11 pro max .
I don’t see really any improvement from battery.
I spend almost 2000 usd and the battery is same .😮😮😮😮😮
I just bought an iphone 14 pro max. I got too sick of my ROG 3. It keeps on dying on me even though i never dropped it and I got it repaired once due to a mother board problem and only lasted 5 months before it died again.

I can totally relate with your thoughts in terms of changes overall from the 11 PM. There were changes yes, but that phone is still capable and performs basically the same like the 14 PM.
I had the 11 PM and felt impulsive to buy this and kind of feeling upset as the Island isn't well working with 3rd party apps so it seems like an aesthetic upgrade only and that's it. Also, camera is sooooo over the place compared to the subtle-realistic color output of it.
Development for the island is going to make a huge jump once more people have it.
11pm to 14 pm is a big jump
Camera is much better as is the refresh rate. But “much better” doesn’t mean what it used to back when every year was a big improvement.
i jumped from 11PM TO 14 PM and it was a huge jump for me. as was the 7 to 11PM
@@mzmel1 probably this year due to iPhone 15 series having it. But having it the 14PM wasn’t rly a wise decision made to implement its use.

Never had any problems on my 14 pro max like this guy. Definitely had issues with my Ultra 22 and that trash Galaxy Watch 4.

Had the iPhone 12 Pro Max since release to now iPhone 14 Pro Max a month. There’s not a big difference but the small features makes a big difference. iOS 17 is even better. I’m interested to see what Apple does w/ Dynamic island & always on display in the future.

2 years with 13 Pro Max and other than the loud keyboard clicks occasionally, haven’t had a single bug with apps or widgets. It is why I came back to iPhone from android. Devs are lazy on android.

I just like iphones because you can jailbreak , im jailbroken on my 13 PM iOS 15 and never went back to stock iOS i just use my iphone jailbroken all the time and people ask me how i made my iphone look like that with tweaks

can someone tell me what it's like using an iphone and what's the difference with android ? I never own any iphone, I'm just curious about it
None at all, for me coming from an android phone it has been almost the same. Maybe the cameras are more cleaner when uploaded to social media network apps but aside from it, it has been the same so far. Going 8 months now from the switch.
If you're a hardcore user then you'll miss some features like
1) splitscreen
2) apps running on background. Downloads and uploads will stop if u change the app or lock the screen
3) no proper file manager. Plus u can't easily offload stuff from your phone to your pc with USB c like u do in android
4) no swipe gesture for going back
5) no clipboard
6) keyboard doesn't have number row and generally isn't as good as Samsung keyboard or gboard
Thats just stuff from top of my head having used an iPhone 11 briefly a couple years ago. But it just works and is built solid. It's buttery smooth UI. And I feel like the touch response is more on the iPhone. Also scrolling is more slow , controlled and fluid while in Android its faster but skips frames or stutters. Then battery life is good. Doesn't drain as much in use or in standby.

Nothing has dethroned the battery life on the 11 Pro Max? Did you not use the 13 Pro Max? And I am certain that the 14 Pro Max has better battery life than the 11 Pro Max as well. Many battery life tests prove that.

I too wish that Apple wpuld drop a new mini series every other year, replacing their base model. I currently have the 14 Pro and S23 Ultra. The S23U feels much more comfortable to hold than the 14 Pro Max. And if the mock up models of the 15 series hold true, I won't be upgrading to the 15 Pro, not enough design change. Nice video 🟣 🥔!

I bought iPhone 14 Pro max last Sunday today(Wednesday) I return phone to store. Reason? Battery draining too fast just feel like 1 minute searching in browser equal 1% battery down. iPhone is briliant and great quality but better waiting for iPhone 15. My current phone with android is 5000mA battery and battery life on one charge is much much better.

It was ok till midway trough the iOS cycle since iOS 16.5 Apple is throttling them to run slow with software updates that brainwash with new features you but yet it slows it down with screen stuttering and ui lag!!! And battery life heath goes down my Samsung s20 ultra still beats my iPhone 14 pro max the s20 is 4 years old and still faster I’ll never buy apple again ever!!! Can’t wait for the s24 ultra comes out

My main phone is the Pixel 7 Pro but I'll have to admit the 13 mini is the best iOS experience imho. It's simple, fast, doesn't get in your way and you can use literally any case you want without worrying about getting even bulkier like on the Max model. For me too is the perfect size iPhone 🥔🟣
