My not so little Apple rant. I am fed up with the usual TH-cam shills (on Apple’s and others … reviewer freebies list … to avoid the term ‘payroll’). Not many of you (none …) mention the washed out on-screen colours of the 15 Pro/Max. I just came from a long line of Samsung phones, lately the S22 (non Ultra or + … the plain vanilla Galaxy S22) and there is simply no comparison! Samsung gives you the option of adjusting colour temperature and other nice things such as a ‘vivid’ and ‘natural’ setting with individual RGB sliders. Simply put, you can make the display look just as you want. Apple is offering … zilch! ‘True tone’ does not solve the issue neither do any of the, honestly, pretty useless settings in the Accessibility section such as ‘increase contrast’ or playing around with the horrid ‘colour filter’ options. There is some garbage talk online that the latest ios update affected screen vividness or something to that garbage effect. B****** … it’s just a lacklustre display. Another biggie, whilst I’m on it about the display. The 15 pro touts something like 1000 nits to 2000 nits peak brightness. What exactly the conditions have to be to achieve this … no f***** idea. Apple’s marketing department obviously had a wild time to come with this shit but let me tell you one thing; The lowly, almost forgotten (even at launch) Galaxy S22 … IS BRIGHTER AND MORE VIVID IN ALL LIGHTING CONDITIONS, be that outdoors or indoors. Believe me, I tried every possible setting on the 15 Pro … it doesn’t come close to the peak brightness of the S22. What a lot of b****** from Apple! Anyone thinking I am just a Samsung/Android fanboy … I am getting there! I changed to 15 Pro because I bought a MacBook Pro M2 last year. I like the MacBook A LOT but I am starting to REALLY disliking the 15 Pro. Then there is the issue of the hollow/plasticky sounding screen when tapping it. Samsung back their OLED’s with a metal plate. It means when you tap the screen it feels like solid glass not like a piece of plastic. Apple apparently attach the screen surround only and the OLED panel rests on the battery, hence the awful noise it makes when touching. Anyone saying this is not the case … tap from the edges inward and see what happens. - Really Apple?! Get your design folks sacked and try and snatch some from others, Samsung included! Battery life is … meh but that has, for a change, been accurately documented. Mostly, I assume, to re-direct folks to the more expensive MAX. - Problem is, Apple, in their infinite wisdom (!) have crippled the Max version by introducing that stupid 5x zoom. Most people shoot probably far more within the 3x zoom area. If you look at photos from the 15 Pro Max you soon realize that a large range of the zoom range below 5x is actually digitally done by the camera resulting in clearly inferior quality. This eats also into the 3x zoom and some way below! Now look and compare the 15 Pro (non Max) photos digitally extended to 5x and the compromise is far less, almost equalling the Pro Max’s 5 times zoom quality! Any more than that and things start to fall apart quickly but really, who actually shoots 5x and more to take quality pictures with a phone? If you do … get a proper camera or, if you really must a Samsung S24 Ultra though that one is just one huge, ugly brick … . Still, the usual suspects (youtube shills) of course love that one too (in order to stay on the phone manufacturers reviewer list). Which leaves me with the one and only redeeming feature of the 15 Pro that makes it stand out … the camera. Better than the MAX version, better probably than most Samsung’s including the new ones. It really is a great piece of technology (the camera, not the phone!). How a company like Apple can release such a flawed, under featured turd of a flag ship phone for top dollars is beyond me, especially as the make the lovely MacBook Pro’s. They seem to have truly lost it. I am within the 14 day return policy whilst writing this and think another Samsung (the non-Ultra … Plus or plain vanilla S24) is close. Enjoy

The awful quality of the PVD coating on the titanium frame is where the problem lies. Not only does it scratch like hell, but it will also soon be prone to discoloration.
🥔 Thanks for providing insight in your experience. Of course some people think "iPhone" is boring. Some jump on the bandwagon. Also some people update every year to live on the bleeding edge of technology, so of course updates will be smaller to them since manufacturers are doing incremental updates. @@mohamedismail6521If you hate the device, I would simply take it back and buy something else. Don't spend your hard earned money on something you don't even like?.

I really miss the mini models
What is the name of your case? It looks amazing and thin!
Check it out in the description!
Thank you so much bud!@@ZachAnderson
Really like your style of making videos, keep it up!🥔
Hyy Zech, In case if you have forgotten, you have another TH-cam channel called ANDROID TAILOR 😅
Haha yup. Just gotta get this channel back up and running first 👍🏽
Great vid. You prefer the pro instead of the pro max?
Thanks! Honestly, I think I prefer the extremes: either the Mini or the Pro Max.
How is the build quality
u make great content bro🔥💯
Great video. Which case are you using for the phone if I may ask
Thanks! Check out the description! It’s from Pitaka!
i have the 13 pro max i think ima hold on to it i love the stainless steel look plus the 15s no gold color this year
Stay with this version is best don’t switch as I did repentant as 15 drains battery fast
That’s a good choice right there!
The avg battery life wouldn't have been such an issue if they atleast gave fast charging
Nice video! I have a question in regards to the display. Does the display easily get scratches, e.g. when you put it in your pocket or carrying it around or is it robust enough? I ask because many people claim that the have a lot of microscratches even after 2 weeks of normal/gentle use.
Funny you mention that. Shortly after i finished the video, I did notice a small scratch towards the bottom of the display and I’ve been treating the phone very well. I think it’s a fair assessment, saying it seems to scratch easily
Zollotech had a video seems like safari syncing was causing battery drain too
I’ll have to look into that
12:43 hey @zack Please share this wall, not able to find it on vellum app. Please create a video on your iPhone setup ❤
okay, do know how to resolve selfie camera quality, whenever i take photo from front cam , it is tooo much noisy once clicked.. before clicking it, on dipsplay it looks amazing.. after clicking it too dull... even my 200 dollars android is havinf better front camera
I lose my mind if after 3 years of the same phone someone still talks about design.
Well, the design is slightly different from last year 🤷🏽♂️
@@ZachAnderson No its not. "Slightly" is so small, not worth mentioning.
@@RobertHorvat to you it’s not. But I’m the one reviewing the phone, so of course I’m going to mention the fact that the phone feels different 🤷🏽♂️
@@ZachAnderson Im holding it in my hands (15 PM) and replying to you. Its slightly lighter. But design is the same. Just action button on the side. Otherwise you can not tell if its 13, 14, 15
I just got my 15 Pro, been waiting for 3 weeks, the damand is crazy 💀💀
why did u not talk about heating, after installing apps, it is heating... i hv 15 pro max
Other IPhone users want to believe that the overheating issue is fixed now. They will assume you are just lying and a probable Android fanboy plant.
Like I mentioned in the video, some people experience it, others don’t. I also mentioned how the phone does still get warm, like most phones do. My Android phones get warm after installing apps. It’s not abnormal.

Great video! How to find this wallpaper on Vellum? Name or something? Thnx
People thinking titanium scratches less 💀
I’m actually speechless at the fact you think otherwise
The awful quality of the PVD coating on the titanium frame is where the problem lies. Not only does it scratch like hell, but it will also soon be prone to discoloration.
@@neilmcguinness4422 Agree , no many options for titanium, anodized is weak too, my titanium EDC gear scratches normally and easy
Ive never had an overhearing issue with my 15 pro max
Where can I buy this case shown in the movie with the power and volume buttom cut out?
Check the description 👍🏽
What’s the case he’s using?
New sub I'm from the Philippines living in Finland 🥂
Congrats on 100K views!
My Bluetooth just stops working randomly on my iPhone 15 pro
Where did you get your wallpapers from?
What about overheating?
🥔 Thanks for providing insight in your experience. Of course some people think "iPhone" is boring. Some jump on the bandwagon. Also some people update every year to live on the bleeding edge of technology, so of course updates will be smaller to them since manufacturers are doing incremental updates.
Hopefully users coming from an iPhone series 11 or earlier will notice a significant jump in what the 15 Pro can provide.
What was the game that u were playing at the beginning of the video?
The only reason I got the Plus is because of the battery life
Wallpapers?
Case looks awesome. What is the name?
