The battery life is phenomenal. Compared to other Android phones I've had. Heck my Fold 4 battery drops substantially just pulling it off charge and not even being used while I get ready for work in the morning. Meanwhile, I can use the Open to watch videos, check emails, etc and it sips battery.
After much hesitation and cancelling late night orders 3 different times since launch, my Open arrives on Thursday and I absolutely cannot wait to try out my first foldable. 🥔
1 months that i'm an OP open owner and i'm still love of this phone, great battery, insane display, the main screen is not narrow like the Samsung FOLD, the speaker are loud, i can't find cons. Perfect product.
I'm on iPhone and Apple ecosystem. I'd be great to see a video on how a transition is possible. Things like what's the comparable to iCloud, password manager etc. Thanks
That is actually quite easy. Before I got my iphone I had no issues with my macbook and ipad at all. Never moved to iwatch because the battery is horrible. Garmin serves way better there. I came from a Oneplus 10 pro and was mostly sick of batteries dying on me in Androids. And these foldables, combined with flaws in ios that have been fixed in Android ages ago.. I'm considering to move back.
As a Oneplus Open owner, this phone is really cool. What's not so cool is when we opened the phone and there were lines in the screen. I received a quote of €750 to repair it. I have the impression that the internal screen is extremely fragile or that the slab had a weakness. However, I'm going to try to get it under warranty as the phone is only 2 weeks old, has a shell with integrated screen protection and a hinge protection. What's more, at this price I'm more than careful.
@@eaglehunter1802 The screen will be replaced at OnePlus' expense. But it's been 1 month since the warranty expired and I still haven't heard anything about picking it up.

I absolutely LOVE my OnePlus Open! Everything about it, from form factor, battery life, screen brightness, speakers, camera system and the 16gb RAM that it has! No foldable out there (as far as I know), even has more than 12gb RAM, and of course, the more RAM a phone has, just like a computer, programs, apps and the overall experience become faster and smoother. Samsung's Fold 6 is coming in the near future as well but even that is reported to have only 12gb RAM still. The Oxygen OS is actually a breath of fresh air too. I didn't mind switching to a different OS anyway because it's still an Android-based foundation, which I am now a fan of. I've switched to the S23 Ultra from having nothing but iPhones ever since the first inception in 2007 and I just don't want to go back to Apple anymore. Lastly, that screen crease. It's barely noticeable! Just run your finger through the screen between any Foldable out there right now and you'll notice a HUGE difference. Excellent video!!! New Subscriber here and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
@@SalsHQ I haven't gotten a chance to fully explore the camera settings but out of the box, it's amazing! Never owned a Hasselblad Camera before and now that it's in a phone, I'm excited to try. I'm proud to say that I just use my phone's camera!
This is NOT a Quad Speaker setup; the phone only has THREE operable speakers; but they also put a dud speaker grill on the bottom left for the purposes of appearing symmetrical. It has 2 speakers on top and one on the bottom right (when opened.) Just saying you got a couple things wrong, like how this is actually Oppo's 3rd generation of foldable, the Oppo Find N3, rebranded internationally under OnePlus (also owned by Oppo) as the Open so they can bypass Chinese release window restrictions. Not a first gen device *TECHNICALLY*

After using my Find N2 for the past 6 months, the only device I would consider is the Find N3 or OnePlus Open (being the same phone, but the OnePlus has the slider). Amazing phones, design, very well made!!
It doesn't feel like a 1st Gen product because it's parent company has already been making foldable phones for a while now. OnePlus Open is almost identical to it's cousin Oppo Find N3.
I think the phone is great. I have one, but the system is definitely not very stable. There is room for improvement. I experience some lags and weird bugs during usage, but I still love it. Don't get me wrong, it is the best foldable you can get so far, by far.
I can't stand how people complain about wireless charging. it's plain stupid imo. this phone charged from like 40% to full in about 25 min while showering. Wireless charging heats up phones and long term is garbage for battery health and not nearly as fast. I never charge my battery all night.
I feel the same regarding water resistance. Ever since owning a smartphone (since the first Nokia's), I've never had an issue with a phone not being water resistant.
