In Mauritius if you buy a home that cost $375 000 you immediately get residence wow. l as immigrant and an engineer the home affairs is taking more than 5 years to respond to my residence application, l really needed to get a home loan but l can not because of this, surely the home affairs has no clue about simulating the economy by attracting foreign investment and labour, many European countries are doing this but here they seem to really fight and with no sufficient reasoning because they make people that are here legally pay for the sins of those that are here illegally, which is the wrong way to go about it in my opinion. You need to attract skilled people and high net worth from other countries that's how you stimulate your economy and find growth, not wanting to be an island.

    Unrigging the Game
Some ridicule the African governments for failing to acheive idealogical goals such as currency stability, fiscial responsibility, and friendliness to business.
These same critisisms apply to the developed nations, so why haven't they already caused those old empires to fail? Something else must be slowing the rise of Africa.
Lacking adequate domestic security, colonialists foreign actors such as France, USA, and Belgium have repeatedly destabilized African governments so as to maintain the extraction of Africa's resources and the exploitation of its weak self governance. Since the majority of the population has been kept in poverty, the majority have limited means to organize a resistance. For most, the only means which they do have would require the ultimate personal sacrifice, and those martyrs are identified (correctly, by the standards of the existing governments) as terrorists and criminals. The UN and other global powers are violently engaged in the preservation of the peace in Africa. It is difficult to criticize such actions unless we recognize that despite their efforts and even because of their parallel activities they have not created a lasting peace in any region. They are meddling in African affairs, propping up servile governments and convenient criminals while pretending to be humanitarians. They are preserving foreign interests at the expense of the African people. Africa needs both security and proper wages.
When the people are properly compensated they will reinforce their own economies and they will be empowered to engage with the government to realize benefitial reforms such as limiting inflation, repaying government debt, and lowering taxes.
These problems are not unique to Africa and I am promoting a political party called the Underscore Party to inspire people to rally together and create local networks to champion local concerns. Groups which adopt the model will use entertainment to generate funding and idealogical support. They will form private security services to do the work which the governments have failed to do. They will return a portion of their revenue to the community in support of the unemployed. They will form a powerful union to benefit children and childcare providers. Without protest or petition, they will infiltrate the existing governments from the bottom to the top. They will implement sound economic policies based on minimal government intervention and win-win business arrangements. They will eliminate taxes upon income, sales, value, and license. They will pursue peace through readiness and defense and they will seek to win over rival powers through fair competitions rather than aggression, subterfuge, and war. The goal is to lead with generosity and to cultivate a worldly paradise for the living and their progeny for generations to come.

I agree with everything you said all of those factors are contributing to why Africa is in the shape is in. But as an African-American I warn you you don't want to go down the path of America Russia China any of those countries. Africa has the most unique sought after resources on the planet. It's climate in natural beauty cannot be compared to. But until Africa wakes up and stops being a continent and becomes a nation it will not be what it is designed to be. Can you imagine the resources you're gross national product with rival all of Europe. Can you imagine what your military would be like as one nation China North Korea would give pause. All Africans living together from different countries no borders. An educational system where your children can immerse themselves in all African culture and arts. A generation of Africans that no longer felt the pain of civil war and genocide. New world order.

@@tammyjohnson1927 Start at the bottom in every village. Build upon local success and place allies in the governments of the towns and cities. When you see your people speaking at the national assemblies then decide if you will form an alliance, a confederation, a federation, or an empire.

I'm sure the majority are coming from countries at war and the likes of Zimbabwe. It is indeed easier to profit from war and disorder. It is easy to profit were there is no rule of law
