Phillis, you are my go person when I want to know how to do something. I have 2 of the Dollar Store skillets, and dish towels from Walmart, you are one smart lady. Thanks so much. Have a great day.
I have been using a product called TILEX for years, on the chairs, and anything that needs whitening. I swear by it, and will never go without it being in my house. It's a must have for me.
Best tip yet !! I have plastic lawn furniture, & pet crates I'm going to try this on. Good idea...& don't do on your grass!! Thank you for your fast,& easy cleaning hack !!
Phyllis this way you Wicken plastic and poisson water supply . next time use bicarbonate soda . 2 spoons from inside of vanish (sup with detergent for laundry) mug of white vinegar half of lemon juice make it in big pot and wide add to bottle after cllorox and it work much better are biodegradable for flora and fauna if you don't like lemon you can add orange water after lemon ..Small is great . I use also orange skin peels put to Chinese ceramic double steam pot cover with hot water cover steamer top and after few hours or day or 2 you have lovely freshener for your laundry or air .
Love the Clorox products...just be very careful of the fumes...I've made myself quite dizzy cleaning the bathroom and forgetting to open the window. The chair looks brand new!
Phyllis, you are right! This is my go-to product!! I live in very humid Central Florida and about three times a year I my 6 foot PVC fence with the same product and you would think that it was brand new! Looks better than all my neighbors who had to pay to have theirs power washed LOL. By the way, it has never hurt the grass or plants in the areas that I spray. Now my secret is out LOL
I always keep a pair of safety glasses and a fume mask on when ever I use Clorox or ammonia products. Old clothes is a must too. Going to use some of this on my concrete walkway too right before it rains. It weakens concrete but I don't have a pressure washer.
we power wash ours. Just water or some mild detergent. Gets it all - the psi of the water gets it done. I never thought of the shower stall method, but that's a great idea. :) thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I'll use this on my hose box and cushion box (plastic boxes) that sit on the North side of the house. They get grey and full of mildew every year.
Chlorox makes some great products. I think a solution of sudsy ammonia will do the same thing, but you would have to fill a clean spray bottle. Never use ammonia with bleach, ever! I just think sudsy ammonia is probably as effective, but costs less. For sure this was an excellent video and it worked really well for you.
The chair was in our downstairs bathroom, the gold shower you saw is fiberglass and it works well in the shower. We don't usually have any mildew in our shower only a little soap scum.
Hello Phyllis, Looks so strange seeing outdoor furniture videos this time of year. Here in Pennsylvania we are expecting 16+ inches of snow with wind gusts of 40 mph. That means a LOT of drifted snow over the next 24 hours. How I wish I lived in a warmer place. You are lucky.
I use a product from the dollar store that's called awesome it's a very very good cleaner I use it on my lawn furniture as well you can use it on just about anything
I have found "THE BEST" cleaning agents are from The Dollar Tree. I have quit buying the store brands of cleaning supplies. My home has a LOT of windows and Large mirrors and the Dollar store glass cleaner is by far the best. Also orange clean 'degreaser' for the kitchen or window blinds etc...is Awesome. I will only buy my cleaning products from The Dollar Tree from now on. Sure can't beat the price!
Gosh i just love Miss Phyllis. This just makes me happy.

Thanks Phyliss! You are the busiest lady I have seen in a long time! Keep it up!!
I am so glad I saw this! I’ve never found anything that would clean the plastic chairs. I had the answer under my bathroom sink all along. Who knew?
I am in Central Texas and we get mildew too. Going to try this!
her son is fortunate to have all these videos to watch when he needs to. im sad he sold the house & antiques
I planned to paint my furniture until I used your idea that was sitting right under my sink! Taking the paint back to the store....amazing.😊
I did the same! Returning my paint!
That works great! I have scrubbed and scrubbed with cleanser can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Ms. Phyllis,
I use "Awesome" from the Dollar Store just like another viewer, Ms. Estelle. It works great on my lawn furniture.
Awesome works fine to clean counters, etc., but not for mildew on plastic furniture.

This is a very helpful tip that I am very grateful to get because I have the same issue.
I have coloured garden chairs, can i use this method or will the bleach bite off the colour?

Thanks for sharing this information. Will be trying this on our lawn furniture. God Bless.
"...have to wear something OLD when you do this."
For me . . . doing that nekkid would fill that bill.

Greetings From Greenville, SC! Thanks for the advice on this..
Do you know if the Clorox Cleaner & Bleach would work on fiberglass showers? It did a great job on the lawn chair.
The chair was in our downstairs bathroom, the gold shower you saw is fiberglass and it works well in the shower. We don't usually have any mildew in our shower only a little soap scum.
oh wow, going to definitely try this, thanks for sharing.

Are you on septic or on city sewer system..???
What a great Lady! Thanks.
If doing outside, do it on the end of your driveway and rinse toward the street so you don't kill any grass or vegetation. And not on a windy day.
I use a product from the dollar store that's called awesome it's a very very good cleaner I use it on my lawn furniture as well you can use it on just about anything
