I own a GT-1 and love it. My favorite amp model is probably High Gain Stack followed by the Bogner models, 1959 Plexi with Boost, etc.
Appreciate the video and all the effort you put into it. Does it sound good with some riffs or in some musical context as opposed to just noodling?

Fala André! O pessoal nunca pede, por isso que não faço videos assim com frequência. Mas vou fazer uns usando a Gt100 ok? É o mesmo timbre da Gt1 mas podemos conectar o pedal externo via send/return para os testes como fiz com este vídeo: th-cam.com/video/o219ArMqKIA/w-d-xo.html Abração cara.
por exemplo, o efeito muff fuzz eu acredito que seja o pedal big muff, e o distortion seja o ds-1 da boss, e assim por diante.

Hi Don! GT's distortion is based on DS1 and DS2. We understand this due to the large amount of distortion we have at our disposal.

Are these the distortion sounds that come with them or are they your custom ones?
These are all distortion modules of the GT-1. Note that I only combined 1 preamp. If you combine them with all other GT1 preamps you will have a very large range of tones. Here you will see all overdrive effects: th-cam.com/video/TCHr3i8bCa4/w-d-xo.html

Does the GT-1 work as well running it through an amp? I've heard conflicting opinions.
Yes, very good. Just use it without the preamp/cabinet simulations and adjust the best output option. This is not our topic but I made a video "GT-1 to Amp input", see: th-cam.com/video/TdSe2DzLbkE/w-d-xo.html // In some amps it will sound good even with the output of the GT1 in Line/Phones and with active preamp/cab. There is no absolute rule, as each amp reacts differently to the other. There will be a lot of tests but in the end you will get excellent sounds. The GT-1 is a GT-100 mini, as the GT1000core is a GT1000 mini.

Eu queria resetar os presets de fábrica da pedaleira.
A minha duvida é...se eu der esse RESET ele vai resetar também o software??
Pergunto, porque essa que eu comprei (usada) já veio ATUALIZADA para o software mais recente...
Outra coisa... é normal ter muito ruído nos sons distorcidos?? (em alguns é praticamente impossível de tocar... )

Cara, quando vc reseta, ela reseta só a pedaleira, excluindo os seus presets e voltando pros de fábrica
Dependendo da distorção, principalmente as simulações dos high gain, elas costumam chiar muito, o ideal é usar um noise gate (que eu não me lembro como está na pedaleira exatamente, acho que é noise supressor, algo assim) pra reduzir os chiados ou mesmo eliminar completamente

O teste é o segunite... tentem tocar com a pedaleira com pilhas e fone de ouvido, SEM ENERGIA ELETRICA nenhuma por perto. (Eu fiz o teste por acaso...tava tocando e a energia foi embora!).

@@DirectRecordingGuitar Ive just watched your vids demo of the gt1.I tried to sound as close to your tones at exact settings,but it's a world of difference.They sound thin and dry through my powered frfr speaker.I wonder how come your gt1 is so silent too in your vids.
Remember to set your GT-1's output to Line/Phones. In the old videos I used only Yamaha headphones and monitors. Today I use Frfr monitors too. This one was made using Nux's PA50 monitors: th-cam.com/video/ucjEQ2azinM/w-d-xo.html *Edit: You should also remember to use your monitor's Frfr EQ. I use bass: 9h / Mid: 12h / High: between 9h and 10h on Frfr monitors at high volumes during rehearsals and live shows.

Hi Demi. You can use a compressor before the DS as booster. Or activate the "OD solo" function using the CTL button.
