    0:00 Intro and how to use the GT-1
    7:38 Sound demos
    In this demo, Dagan shows us the unique features and best sounds within the Boss GT-1 Guitar Effects Processor. dagan scrolls through a wide range of presets including Van Flange, some serious heavy metal presets and some lovely 1959 classic rock sounds plus many more!
    This is one of the best cheap multi-effects pedals packed with all those incredible BOSS effects pedals we've come to know and love.
    A looper built-in to the GT-1 allows you to jam at home, the headphones input is perfect for silent practice and the built-in expression pedal ensures you have total control over your tone. The fact you have an installed USB port also means you can record directly to your DAW and use all the great built-in amp sims and effects pedals.
    This is easily one of the best multi-effects pedals with headphone functionality so you can essentially jam a full set at home on your own.

      I'm about to buy the little Vox StompLab IIG thing as I'm not working anymore & have got to stretch me benefits,,, The COSM engine in me Boss BR600 is perfect & I've put many hours collating a hundred user patches that are the basis of my tone library in studio. BUT; I don't like that I'm putting so many hours on the recording device just to practice like you do with headphones, but am not recording anything, just using the awesome COSM engine for practice and stuff. As I said, I'll use the internals of the BR-600 recording device for recording my guitar sounds (apart from the ones where I use real amps and mics), I just want something to dick around with. I could get the Vox for £70.
      Do you think I should save the extra, do you think it's really worth it for me personally?
      Appreciate your thoughts, good luck with it all, stay healthy, blessings from the locked-down UK

      @@Tiago_007 Cor, I tell you what... I bought the lil' Vox stomplab IIG off of amazon (my 1st ever online purchase, ever!) a couple of weeks ago and its brilliant; far exceeded my expectations. Only got it as a toy, but, it is in fact up to snuff, & am already recording with it. Its a bloody weird layout, but, there is devil in the details, & it has so many cool quirks, for the money, every guitarist should have one. Made in Japan, surprised me. I still might get the GT-1, but probably not - it's not too much extra for the ME-80 & I think that is a much better piece The Vox has a lot of character, can't praise it highly enough. It doesn't SOUND like £78... Anyway, hope you and yours are healthy in these crazy times. regards, UK

At times it can be a bit fizzy so you need to work at it a bit to avoid that. I made a few single coil patches and I have humbucker guitar using it's tone mod (forget the name) that allows you to select a hum to single, single to hum and more. Looks like I struck gold as I ordered this pedal today coupled with the blackstar ID Core 100 from PMT Newcastle. Picked up the amp today and it’s mint, the pedal is turning up this week. So buzzed!

      @@mattydowns4780 So 2 hours in and barely scratched the surface. Sounds good, I tried the fx-loop in stereo and direct into the amp, at low volumes they’re both good but atm I’m just using the mono fx loop and matching it with the input setting of the gt1- bit more experimenting needed. Just started to edit a patch - it’s got gain for days - the wah pedal doesn’t have an off when u press it so I’ve assigned two matching patches side by side one wah on one off. It’s powerful enough to move the modules to different orders - at this price point thats unheard of in my book.

    would this work with an acoustic electric specifically something like the T5z on the acoustic setting 1?

    • @rafaelunplugged
      @rafaelunplugged 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Update. I bought it. A clean channel with reverb so far is working swimmingly. The built in effects sound pretty rad on the T5z and also I recommend using 10s for wound G electric d’addario’s the 11s are definitely stiffer than the elixir 11s I had on earlier.

    • @mrredritehand
      @mrredritehand 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it will sound good. Just put your amp on the cleanest channel/amp simulator, it's got. My little vox amp actually has a "Line" input setting on the amp selector knob, and its like a effects return kinda

    8:39 I always thought it was weird the tuner didn't use red on left and right for wrong then blue center for tuned. This replaced my GT100 though and is so much easier to lug around as a busy gigging musician.

I click connect and after a few seconds the window returns to select the connection option for Midi In ,Out and Audio In ,Out .. and so same thing over and over... why?
