Look up how to make a larp sword and also try and make a knife out of a file I know you said you dont have much of experience of making stuff like it but I'm only 14 and I have made a knife by using only basic tools like a angle grinder and a belt sander and a drill press so try it on old worn out basterd file It'll take like two maybe 2 and half to 3 days of working it's not that complicated Honestly just look up a video on how to make it so you don't damage the heat treatment of the file
