Rayford Gibson: "If any of you ever get to New York, go to Ray's Boom Boom Room, the most happening spot in all of Manhattan."
Splendid movie, made us laugh and cry. Eddie Murphy phenomenal as usual!

You should watch planet of the apes movie series
Rip Ned Beatty, R Lee Ermey, Clarence Williams, Bernie Mac, Michael Taliferro, O'Neal Compton, Heavy D and Johnny Brown
And Rick james
Rick played Spanky at the beginning he said "Drop him".
@@shevawn4927What does drop him mean?
@@rickreed5836drop Martin Lawrence in the water at the beginning of the Movie.
@@shevawn4927 That's not how you treat somebody..
“This ain’t my daddy’s watch”
🤣
I just saw this movie myself a couple years ago and it's SO good!
I enjoyed laughing with ya'll again! 💚
I'm so glad you both enjoyed this movie.
Oh yeah we had such a blast!
@@robtrinreact2825 Please do more movies like this Bad Boys 1995 is a good one and Harlem Nightss 1989 is a good one
Not sure if anyone mentioned this but the bigger dude that was digging the grave is Heavy D from the rap Group
The club owner Spanky was R&B legend Rick James.
DAAAANG!!! I NEVER KNEW THAT! AND HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT?! I've seen this movie countless times. I even read about it's release in Jet Magazine and everything back in the 90s. That just blew my mind.
Trim and Rob I just noticed the baseball scout is Edwin Jenner from the episode TS19 the walking dead wow
Oh wow!! If they could’ve seen Can’t Get Right’s son or grandson play ball that would’ve been awesome!!🥲
IT would have been such a cool touch!
That would have been a great touch if he was a yankee damn
This movie didn't get as much love as it deserved on release but in the intervening years people have realized what I great film it is. It has a nuanced story and character portrayals considering when it came out. As far as prison movies go, I think it rates right up there with films like Shawshank. Just showing a different side of that same story, one that is too real and too damned common.
On a bit of a bummer note, we may not have chain gangs and all that anymore but the prison industrial complex here in the US is still going strong. Keeping men incarcerated far longer than anything resembling justice. Still using prisoners as cheap labor and often incarcerated on weak or false charges in the first place. I know too many folks that lost decades of life over a 1 minute mistake.
Not saying we should just open up the prisons and let everyone go free but I really wish the justice system here would take an actual look at the circumstances of initial arrests and let folks out before they just get buried in the prison graveyard never having lived a life over some bullshit like a stolen TV.
I had this tape on VHS and probably watched the movie 20 times, still holds up and good makeup fx.
Loved this reaction‼️ Man Rob if u ever in the Miami/Orlando area i would like to let u kno your welcome to the BBQ’s my brother!!! The raw emotion you showed on the scenes that needed it was golden, i already could tell u have a black friend. Especially when Biscuit crossed the gun line, u was in tears b4 the shot even came because u knew what was coming…. Best reaction on this movie i’ve seen so far!!!!! Keep it up rob and trin, you gained a new follower 💯💪🏽‼️
The line when Eddie Murphy said " I KNOW A B#$%H NAME DELLA HIT HARDER THAN YOU" Della is a character in the movie Eddie was n called " HARLEM NIGHTS " that Eddie stared n u will love that movie to . It also has a Allstar cast
The scout that came to recruit ‘can’t get right’ also played Dr. Jenner in the walking dead.
At least the state of Mississippi got 40 years to cheap labor out of the deal
Yeah there's no going back after that
So glad you 2 watched this too...good stuff...glad yall loved it! One of my favs
If you enjoy Eddie Murphy, you should check out Harlem Nights. Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Red Fox, Della Reese........So funny with a good story!
in my top 5 fave movies ever.
One of My favorite movies ever
😂🤣... I really enjoyed that. It's been so long since I've seen *Life* . Thanks.
Ned Beatty played Otis in Superman.
Uh, Ned Beatty is a fairly prominent actor, for, like, fifty years. He's been in scores of movies aside from Superman, most always in supporting roles that I can recall. I can recommend Deliverance (1972) and Shooter (2007), off the top of my head.
Really enjoyed this movie when it was released. It didn't get great Reviews at the time, but I liked it.
Not a fan of Martin Lawrence, but liked their chemistry in this.
I completely forgot about this movie until I saw this thumbnail. Thanks for reminding me. I saw it in the theater in 1999 and loved it. Great movie.
I'm so glad you both loved this movie. It has everything, but you both know that now. 😊
Also, if you haven't yet, look up Josh Gibson. An amazing and sad real story. He could have been one of the greatest ever.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this reaction to one of my favorite movies. I've seen this movie probably 100 times!
Thoroughly enjoyed this reaction. Haven't watched this movie in years. Good to see others view it for the first time. ✌️
Great Reaction 🔥🔥 One Of My Faves!
Great reaction😊

I've seen this movie a few times its a good movie i enjoyed your guy's reactions
Great reaction
check out the game 1997
Director: David Fincher
Stars: Michael Douglas, Deborah Kara Yunger Sean Penn.
Believe me you won't regeret it..
A even sadder part the guy in wheelchair has been in there since he was a kid
If you're taking '90's Movies suggestions, I have to pitch The Fisher King (1991) again, in my ceaseless ask to reactors who never seem to listen. It's a great movie, complex and weird and human. Robin Williams, Jeff Bridges, directed by Terry Gilliam, Mercedes Ruhl won a Best Supporting Oscar (but the movie lost in other categories to Silence of the Lambs and Thelma and Louise). It's a real sleeper, and a personal favorite (it hit me right in my Joseph Campbell/Carl Jung phase of my life). There are only a few reactions on YT, many, many years old. Please.

Ned Beatty is the lex usher sidekick in the old super man movies.
Watch the him in Deliverence with Burt Reynolds. You won't forget him ever again
Lex Luther
Yeah it was auto correct for some reason.
