I still say "you gon eat yo cornbread" at least once a month. You have to see Harlem Nights, Murphy, Pryor, Redd Foxx, Della Reese, so many great comedians. When Eddie says "I know a bitch named Della who hits harder than you", that's what he's referring to.

I have to admit; the dialogue in this movie is top notch. The language, the detail, the severity, the sincerity, the jabs and jokes, the insults and quips and the heart breaking delivery when things get serious. This movie is criminally underrated in both Martin and Eddie's filmography. The thought that went into this movie is there it's just overlooked by the subject matter and sometimes bigger than life personalities in the movie. This is a prime watch in my opinion.

LIFE really doesn't get the recognition that it should. I think b/c most critics/viewers look at the cast and assume it must just be a typical comedy, but I put this film up there with other classics like Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, etc. There were certainly some broader comedic moments, but Forrest Gump has similar moments and yet is still considered a serious movie overall. I know LIFE got pretty good reviews when it came out but didn't seem to be held in such high regard as others like it.

Another underrated under-the-radar CLASSIC!! Between this and A Time To Kill you been showing out and not following every other reactor. Not that you were before but these 2 movies i been been waiting on somebody to do. I said it before and i'll say it again you a real one.
So since you open to underrated under-the-radar classics here's a few to consider to add to your already too long list of movies to watch if you haven' seen yet...TRUST:
Harlem Nights (Eddie Murphy/Richard Prior/Redd Foxx)
    Rosewood (Ving Rhames/Don Cheadle/John Voight)
    Money Talks (Chris Tucker/Charlie Sheen)
Cadence (Charlie Sheen/Lawrence Fishburne)...more underrated than classic but still worth a watch
    A Soldier's Story (Denzel Washinton)
A Long Kiss Goodnight (Samuel L Jackson/Gina Davis)
The Negotiator (Samuel L Jackson/Kevin Spacey)
Rules of Engagement (Samuel L Jackson/Tommy Lee Jones)
    Die Hard 3 (Samuel L Jackson/Bruce Willis)
    Primal Fear (Edward Norton/Richard Gere)
    Hoodlum (Lawrence Fishburne/Tim Roth/Andy Garcia)
    Con Air (Nicolas Cage)
    Armageddon (Bruce WIllis)
    Ocean's Trilogy (George Clooney/Brad Pitt)
    Crimson Tide (Denzel Washington/Gene Hackman)
    Hero (Jet Li)
    Malcolm X (Denzel Washington)
The Way Of The Dragon (Bruce Lee)
    The Others (Nicole Kidman)
Tales From The Hood (Clarence Williams III)... debatable classic
    ...for starters lol..

So interesting fact the world did change a lot in 1950s an ex GI cane back to America after undergoing surgery to become a woman she was all over the news people called her a celebrity men thought she was breath taking and she had a lot of suitors her name was Christine Jorgerson she was offered movie rolls and lots of money to do interviews which she never wanted and ended up a night club singer. If the character had gotten released during the 50s unstead of 45 things probably would been diffrent for them.

My father hated movies, his favorite movie was a Donkey that kicked field goals from the 70s. This movie made him laugh and he said it liked it which made 3 movies he liked in his entire lifetime, the other was The Duel with Dennis Hopper which is something you should review.
