Very exciting. I wonder how much heavier the metal framed version is. I bet it looks and feels a lot better. It's really cool to see such a cutting edge micro-compact design have an aluminum frame and wood grips version. I'm sure it will be popular, it's probably more fun to shoot and yet still lighter and smaller than rival polymer-framed guns from other companies. I always love seeing wood grips because it enables all kinds of customizations. Different woods, thicknesses, styles, silly cosplay grips, photographic "sweetheart" grips, and translucent "window" grips that let you see how many rounds are remaining (if you cut a window in the frame and magazine, like on the ASP pistol). That the rail isn't on the metal framed gun makes it less practical for defensive use. It was probably chosen for aesthetics, given that the polymer gun is an option for people who want the most efficient and practical design. I'm not sure how I feel about it. If it's only any ounce or two more, I might prefer to carry the aluminum and wood gun. I bet it's a better and more comfortable shooter, as well as a more beautiful object. Many will prefer it for reduced recoil alone, since I'm sure the lightest 9mm double-stack handgun on the market is a handful.

@@a.juarez9770 I'm waiting for one. Very pricy for what Sig could make for $50, but still.
The p320 series has standard 1918 pic rails.
@@a.juarez9770 thanks for that info. Will check that out. Great little gun, and truly debatable if a light is needed on a deeper concealment weapon, but damn... I sure would have liked the option. The stupid proprietary rail is exhasperatingly frustrating.
@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz Yes it is expensive, but it is a solid grip out of aluminum. I like it a lot on my p365XL.
I have an old P 11. It uses a 15 round mag from a S&W 59 series. Also, excellent service from Kel Tec!
"second quarter 2022" = shipping to dealers sometime around October 2025.
Love Kel Tec. Been wanting to get a smaller pistol for CC (been carrying a full size HK p2000 for awhile now) and now Kel Tec, one of my favorite manufacturers, is releasing this around the time I wanna get a new CC. Great timing.
A 14 oz keltec pistol with the beach plastic and potmetal they make these out of it sounds like lighting an M80 in your hand. $795 for the metal version. You can can buy a Beretta 92X or a SA 35 for under $700 ! Are they insane ?
I have carried a keltec for 10 years. You can pull it full of pocket lint and rust from sweat it has never failed fire or feed.
I want to see it compared to other guns in size, primarily the G26.
Kel tec stepping their game up...💯
I mean, I just bought a Sig P365 XL so I think I'm good.
Same.. we good.
My daily pocket carry for 20 ish years is a Kel Tec P3AT. I've put over 600 rounds thru it and it works great. I just may be considering an upgrade.
Kel Tec always has cool interesting designs and ideas, then they put it in production and like half of the finished product functions properly
Meh.5/10
The coolest most innovative company! Nobody ever said about keltec!
James is a MUCH better Kel-Tec salesman than the Kel-Tec representative.
My first gun was a keltec pf9 I bought in 2011. Haven't gotten another keltec since but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this p15.
Gonna have to see one of these get tortured before I buy but man do I want one. Kel Tec is exactly what the industry needs as far as innovation and setting the status quo
Will this pistol work well in neighborhood watch “self defense” situations?
Looks great! I can't wait until an actual gun manufacturer makes this!
It's such a cheap shot. Kel-Tec is a real manufacturer. I'm a happy owner.
@@WALTERBROADDUS how many times have you sent it back to the factory?
@@spocko2181 Never.
Loved my p11. one of the best shooting guns I've owned
This could be my next EDC if it's proven to be reliable. They are the most innovative gun company....
Extreme innovation typically comes at the cost of something and that is normally reliability.
George is the man
Lightest, slimmest, most prone to malfunction 15rd 9mm ever created!
Every Keltec pistol should come with a prepaid FedEx or UPS label for sending for it's initial warranty service!
Comes with a Dremel tool for the fluff and buff it will require to function.
So far this is the gun I'm most excited about 👍
Putting a grip safety on any modern gun is pointless
Yeah, that is a deal breaker for sure.
Ok John wayne
people really have to look for things to complain about these days don't they.
@@xavierh.5102 Makes no sense because grip safeties are the least intrusive safeties (if done properly). I can see this being a nice feature for those who carry appendix.
Putting a grip safety on a modern gun with a hammer is pointless. Striker fired pistols greatly benefit from having them
Chad is the man!Love Kel Tec!!
Gross 🤢
Manufacturers brought their A game to this Shot Show. Lots a cool products.
I love Keltec as a company, they never follow always lead , the sub2k was awesome .
Keltecs the bro gun designers n I love how they react with content creators, always chill n laid back.
Chad is literally the chillest dude of all time.
Gotta love kel tec they are always looking to innovate and compete.
The Kel-Tec guys are great. I hung out with Matt and talked about shooting sports and guns it was fun.
Keltec is always... interesting
I love it
Im loving these ShotShow updates for TFB!! Keep up the good work guys!
Very cool! I love my P11 but understand a modern revamp. I wish instead of striker fired they did a greatly improved hammer fired (maybe something like an HK LEM ish).
Still want one of each material already.
kel-tech is just an all out awesome company, huge fan
The metal and wood=insta buy... if GunShorts likes it of course.
Interesting. I have the Mossberg Mc2c and it came with a 12 & a 15 rd. mag. I ordered it with night sights. Love it.
Mine came with a 11 and a 14 round mag
@@gmoney313. Mine may have also. Maybe I counted 1 in the pipe.
When James said..."a sweaty lust..." the Kel-Tec guy's expression is priceless, he just let the remark hang there, then he brow rolls the camera...lol...
James is so damn funny. I believe he could make anyone smile.
I’m sure it will work flawlessly with zero problems.
Im not a huge keltec fan but they always seem to innovate. I cant wait to see what this gun feels like and how its all put together.
i love watching TFB TV at shot show i dont even own a gun maybe never will still love it
Gonna be weird if this ends up as small as the new crop of .30SC pistols.
As long as the barrel rifling doesnt like like I did it in my garage, like so many Keltecs I have seen do, Im intrigued
That keltec guy is very down to earth I like he wasn't trying to act just talk like normal
KelTec. They ALWAYS innovate. Sometimes where they shouldn’t. But THIS I’m looking forward to!
Kel Tec has some creative engineers, they are like machines.
I was never really a kel tec fan but honestly this looks pretty nice
I haven’t been very excited about 2 things kel Tecs and micro hand cannons. But the p15 might actually be the first kel Tec and micro pew I like. Imagine finding both in one.
That said I want the aluminum and wood version.
I love this dude’s “yeah I work here but I don’t really know what’s going on“ energy 😎
Great Video Chad and James! Dude you guys Rock.. I'm getting one ! Great Review/interview Overall! Concealed Carry finest choice! Bravo George and KEL TEC!
Yesss! This is one of the first pistols I wanted in a while. To bad hi-point has been hyping up the Yeet Cannon for yrs and hasn't delivered.
Nice. That’s pretty cool that they’re starting to offer metal versions as well.
I've had good luck with Kel Tec handguns. Two I own have been good to me.
That will be a big hit! Thanks for sharing that with us
