Hi Lou My frend has a 67, 68, 69 Camaro A 70 cutles A 64 Chevelle race car And a 67 Camaro race car. He did all the work on theses cars and has owned the since the 70's. He has never taken any of his cars to a car show I think his collection should be documented defore it is broken apart. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this for him.
Thank goodness for the Survivors! Especially the ones in the right color and the right amount of pedals. Mr. Schuetz's looks and sounds fantastic, and will certainly be a crowd pleaser at Rosemont and anywhere else they show up. Thanks, Lou!
Art is not only found in museums; but, on the highways of the world. Tim, you own a piece of automotive history highlighting the pinnacle of American auto design.
I never tire of seeing the spectacular design of these classic C2 Corvettes; and this 1965 example with that Nassau Blue paint proves it. Excellent rear side shot you took of it; giving us a magnificent perspective of its unique curved window following the stylized rear bulge (including its large chrome fuel cap and its striking rounded guides). Beautiful interior, upholstered almost entirely in blue, including its seats, black instrument panel, with its large dials, the sporty three-spoke steering wheel and its chrome gear shift. Magnificent all that original documentation filed in that large folder (even Felix the Cat smiled in approval, hehe). What a symphony of roars that 327 CI "Fuel Injection" V8 gave us when accelerating! Haha. Congratulations to Mr. Schuetz, for this classic worthy of admiration! Oh, by the way, in the background you could see another C2, in a similar color, but convertible! Hehe. Kind regards, Lou!
Hi Jaime, "I never tire of seeing the spectacular design of these classic C2 Corvette" Me too. Happy to read the details you see. So much FUN! Thank you, Lou
That was my favorite year corvette,There’s an old movie called king of the mountain Had an old red and primer corvette that Cal drove ,I loved that car and sound ,That’s a very sharp vette ,Thanks Lou.
A collector’s gem. The flawless classic body lines were a kind of pinnacle in American Sports Car design and certainly part of GM’s heydays. Totally iconic. Your guest knows the value of this rare acquisition. Rightfully proud he is.
Just beautiful. This car never needed larger than the 327 except when racing. I can remember as a kid in the sixties how excited I'd get when I saw one of these on the road. To me, for our American driving conditions, this was the perfect sixties GT. My dilemma would've been whether to get the coupe or the convertible, as both are stunning. Amazing to see these cars still vintage racing. Kudos to this fine gentleman for keeping this auto for future generations! As always, best wishes from the Houston/Galveston area.
"65 was the last year for rochester fuel injection, 771 produced. My buddy has a '65 FI Coupe, glen green, factory side pipes, knock offs, PW, saddle leather. It's one sweet car as is this one.
Just lovely car a total dream, period! Weird, my uncle has an old 59 apache pick up, pulp wood truck with A 327, well according to the code on the block, it came from a fuel injected engine from that time. The engine is covered in his garage at the moment, nobody knows about it...
Hi Lou! Now this is a REAL Corvette! What beautiful sports car in my favorite Corvette color! Absolutely not a fan of these Lamborghini wannabes produced nowadays. I remember the A (427ci) and B (327ci) production Corvettes during my SCCA days (1968-1970) racing the A and B production Shelby AC Cobra roadsters. What a blast!! Thanks again Lou!
A sweet blue beauty brought to you by " baby 🤱 lou " . 😅. Love all these old classics. New Cara are great stopping/handling/acceleration,at least most, but they don't have the heart/ design/ soul of almost all these old cars.😢
At Apache Motors Scottsdale circa 1967-68. I was the lot boy!😂 we had a fuel injected vette. Maybe ‘65 also. Hard to start sometime and wouldnt idle till it warmed up a bit. Other than that it ran good. We had a ‘67 Convertible with 427 4 sp. it was hard to drive when the street was wet! But fun!😂we really had some bad ass cars and I got to drive em all thru my high school parking lot after getting them washed at carwash across the street. Had a couple 426 hemis while I was there. 😢had a 409 impala 4sp also. Very fast car.

I still chuckle at the cheap-o looking spinner hubcaps Chevrolet put on some of their base model vehicles.
