@Devin Garcia I dont think that you need to be a millionaire to enjoy life, I think its more of a mindset/philosophy/perspective of life. Some people have figured it out and others not. I mean look at all the celebrity type people I mean they are all rich but they couldnt be farther away from enjoying life and being satisfied. But Joe is humble, modest he has a high emotional intelligence therefore high empathy which makes him a really social person coupled with a good mindset makes him the person he is, honest humane and humble very friendly and respectful you know thats Joe and thats what enables him to understand what life is about, you know whats truly important and he has the right focus which makes him appreciate life, enjoy life and be satisfied with himself and his life. Thats so important but many focus on wrong things like money, you know to impress other people and generally focus on what other poeple think about them and adjust to that and insecure about themselfs like constant comparison with other people and how "successful" they are and that makes those people more insecure and they feel like failures and not as good. Even though it doesnt have any value whatsoever only if you give it one. Your person you know what makes you You, that doesnt depend on anything monetary or material. Your value is not in there. Your sense of life and of yourself is not there you wont find it that way. Joe is so content and satisfied and cool and conscious about himself he wouldnt change one bit with or without money. His appreciation and happiness is not bound to his riches. He knows its just another tool to make life a lil easier and comfortable but has not any value in itself. Doesnt define him and most certainly doesnt make him happy.
@@CasualSavage92 December 24, 2009 you are correct. I think it was around 2016 or 17 it got traction tho because Leno didn't mention it as Joe was the Fear Factor guy up to that point because his stand-up was always meh.

Absolutely. It is one of the prettiest cars I think I’ve ever seen. The whole car is just right. I don’t know if I would have had the vision to pick those wheels, but Joe hit it out of the park. To my eye, those are the perfect wheels for that car. I’ve also been a big fan of silver ever since my buddy bought a brand new Datsun 240Z in silver with a black interior. It was the first version that had the small chrome bumpers and that very cool dash with the 3 inset instrument pods. In 1973 that car was very special in every way. The silver on Joe’s car is a brighter colour than I remember the 240 was, but I think it is a perfect choice to show the gorgeous sculpture of the Gen 3 Corvette. If it was mine, I never sell it. You could daily it if you wanted. It would be amazing to take on a trip through the Rockies with the top down. You could probably fit a couple of bags in the trunk.
If you look he’s looking at the side of the car, looking for a wide body kit, front lip or diffuser. Every time I’ve seen ppl mess with the lines of the corvette it looks really bad. I think that’s what he’s referring to
This episode just popped on my feed and brought back so many memories. When I was 16, my dad heard about a 1963 Corvette convertible that was in poor shape in OK. We traveled there and bought it for $6000, then proceeded to get the worst sunburns on the way back to MO. We completely restored the car and I learned to drive a manual transmission, then drove it off and on for several years. We sadly sold it years later, but the car was just amazing.
All things considered, that is the coolest most beautiful car I have ever seen. Joe's modifications enhanced the look inside and out. Bravo, well done.

Darryl Giors Yeah like jody024 said, it probably has ducts. Besides, I'm more than sure this car doesn't go through hard/panic braking since its a cruise car. ☺
Jay, I don't know diddly about cars, but I love the degree of fun you are having on the web. It's so wonderful to watch someone be REAL on the web. I always respected you for the same reason on the Tonight Show. Most nights you seemed to enjoy being there. Since many of us will never be there, or find something that gives us pure pleasure, we get to feel it through you. Keep it up!
Never meet your heroes. After what he was willing to do to Conan O'Brien it should be obvious that he has a public persona and a business ethic that differ greatly.

@@reboot0000 As a rule of thumb, you are correct, never meet your heros, you will be disappointed. However, I've met Jay four times and he has never been anything but cordial. He was really nice to my son. I don't know where you're from, but you have a good chance of meeting Jay in the North L.A./South Ventura Counties on Sundays at either The Rock Store Diner, or at the portion of Mulholland Drive kown as "The Snake" (where many ride their sports bikes) and also at Spercar Sundays in Woodland Hills, CA. He frequents those areas fairly consistently. He truly is a nice guy.
Real nice guy, (looks taller on camera). Met him down the road from his warehouse in Burbank at the local gas station. Very personable for a gentleman of his caliber. I was thrown to see him driving a Prius, other than that nothing but good things to say about him.
@@reboot0000 Reading about Leno and Conan and it seems Network contracts etc had more to do with it. And it was Conan who the network signed to take over from Leno without telling Leno. Conan also got Lettermen on his show as well. It doesn't look like it's Leno's fault from what I can find online. But what do I know, I'm just reading words on websites and who knows if any of it is true.
Hands up of you remember Joe Rogan's "Sickfish" restomod Challenger built by Rad Rides by Troy. It has a full length build video that was apart of a show called "Rides". Worth the watch guys!
+TheSkidKid One of the best looking Cuda's ever, but if you listen to Joe's podcast he talked about how badly the car was built. Many engine problems, it was so low you couldn't drive it anywhere without scraping, parts of front suspension failed and he almost crashed the car. Basicly Joe had very few good things to say about it.
So many people go after market ghetto wheels, this was well thought out, they actually improved the look of the car... the silver paint and the aluminum wheels go fantastic together.. and having solid rims brings it out even more.
I liked the part where they reminisced about the past and seeing cool cars. Great video, thanks for posting it. I had no idea Joe Rogan was a car guy, I'm a fan now.
Joe: when I last drove this vehicle I got in after I went and hunted some elk. You ever have elk meat? It’s loaded with vitamins and is a lean source of protein. It’s like you’re eating a pure athlete
Thought I was the only one! Surprised I had to scroll this far. I'f I had paid Strop as much as I'm sure Joe did for this car, that squeak/rattle would be absolutely unacceptable. Amazing car otherwise, just let down by the poor fitment of one or two interior bits, maybe some more sound deadening.
Jay, I have watched many of your Garage shows but this one I thoroughly enjoyed. Please do more work with Joe, you make a good pair talking about cars..
Jay Leno is one of my favorite people, you know he is really fun, but yet he's not trying TOO HARD with his jokes like many other comedians and i really have a big respect for him.
I’m always impressed by Jay’s knowledge of cars in general, however, as a comedian, the presentation of each and every car is unparalleled. It seems to me that the various series that Jay has produced with regard to the automobile has spawned many other shows of this type but none can compare with how interesting and complete these shows are. I feel like he’s talking to me when I watch any of his productions. Entertaining and informative, Jay provides it all for those of us who are of a similar age. Keep it going, PAL !
Jay looks like he's in his element when he's talking cars, as opposed to asking some newb about their one and soon to be only blip on the entertainment radar... and Joe is an all around awesome guy, but he does look a little top-heavy here. Thanks for the quality content guys!
Imagine going out to get some milk, and Jay Leno and Joe Rogan come rolling past you in a resto-mod '65 Corvette Stingray. How cool is that? What a day!
What I love about Joe, is that he knows when to speak and when not to speak. He gets the most interesting stuff out of people and doesn’t interrupt them.
Jay, I hope you guys TRULY UNDERSTAND exactly how amazingly fortunate you are!!! To out it in context: Take the world's population, and analyze the percentage of people that not only won the "Birthplace Lottery", and then grew to use your foresight, good fortune, drive, and human connections to be able to get to a point in your life where you can afford to follow your passion at such a GRAND SCALE, while helping to inform and entertain others in the process! jhon hall -- holy damn it would’ve been hilarious if he popped out the trunk at the end and everyone acted like it’s normal.
@@thomaspayne6866 lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....surprise!!!!
🤣Eddie
HAHAHA
The wheels work surprisingly nice, such a beautiful car!!! 😍😍😍
+Alexa S. yeah , they do, normally I'm not big on solid type wheels but on this car this type works very well

+Alexa S. Any theories if these wheels might impede airflow to the brakes causing overheating? Like the look but I would be concerned.
Darryl Giors
it probably has ducts that run from the front to the inside of the brakes
Darryl Giors Yeah like jody024 said, it probably has ducts. Besides, I'm more than sure this car doesn't go through hard/panic braking since its a cruise car. ☺
Jay "I'm just waiting for my turn to speak"" Leno
Id say its the otjer way around
Ironic
Lol
I love Joe and Jay. JOE seemed so happy standing there with Jay. Priceless.
Keep it up!
I want to hang out with Jay, the man seems really legit for a person who's well off. seems very humble.
Never meet your heroes. After what he was willing to do to Conan O'Brien it should be obvious that he has a public persona and a business ethic that differ greatly.
reboot0000 do you know the inside details of what really happened with all that or just going by what you "heard" on line ..?¿ Might find those differ greatly also
@@reboot0000 As a rule of thumb, you are correct, never meet your heros, you will be disappointed.
I appreciate how Jay defends the original builder.
Look how Joe is observing people. When someone is talking ther's constant eye contact and reaction which prooves attention. Very rare kind of person.
I loved that metal rattling sound - genuine corvette
Pretty much any old car.
That type of car doesn’t rattle, I think it may be that center camera sitting on the dash.
Joe left his bong on the dash
probably the camera or camera mount
Corvette's always have rattles.
You're out of it. Troy builds trash.
+Chris Carter Have some of his other 'rad rides' had issues? Or is it more of a customer service thing? (just curious)
+SDH I think that car was part of a t.v show where they slap everything together in a week. probably leads to poor workmanship
+striker x the show your thinking of is overhauling with Chip Foose
How you know if the show really cares about cars: the let you hear the engine instead of some generic rock or house music.
@FTW One would think so but I've seen a lot of car videos where they put "epic" music instead of engine sounds. Even on TV-shows
Jay Leno everyone 👏👏
So many people go after market ghetto wheels, this was well thought out, they actually improved the look of the car... the silver paint and the aluminum wheels go fantastic together.. and having solid rims brings it out even more.
One of the best episodes ever.
+mylifeisJDM Yep, and I've seen most episodes.
I liked the part where they reminisced about the past and seeing cool cars. Great video, thanks for posting it. I had no idea Joe Rogan was a car guy, I'm a fan now.
So Jay, have you ever heard of the stoned ape theory?
Joe: when I last drove this vehicle I got in after I went and hunted some elk. You ever have elk meat? It’s loaded with vitamins and is a lean source of protein. It’s like you’re eating a pure athlete
.... I've got 4 commercial refrigerator full of it, I'mma hook you up with some before you leave"
Jay you ever tried dmt?
Bruh hahahaha
You ever sauna? Heat shock proteins for days
Libel. L Sheep
So many sheep nerds repeat the exact same joke format
20:12 - That rattle noise that the one interior mic was picking up started to drive me nuts after a while! lol
Really beautiful car though. Love it!!
Some of the previous owner's failed mods they overlooked.
David Keith damn I hope joe fixed it
i was looking fr the comments during vid that sceaking was crazy dads 65 didnt do that30+ years ago
Leno thrashing it 😂
Jay, I have watched many of your Garage shows but this one I thoroughly enjoyed.
Rogan is high af
MR.Leno is very well known for partaking in the cheeba.
Yes!
Joe Rogan hit it on the head. The passion Jay Leno has for his cars is unbelievable.keep it Jay.You are the best.
Road Glider - so is Jay !!
8:12 Just look at that stare, priceless
Jay looks like he's in his element when he's talking cars, as opposed to asking some newb about their one and soon to be only blip on the entertainment radar... and Joe is an all around awesome guy, but he does look a little top-heavy here.
Thanks for the quality content guys!
The car is beautiful. Stunning. And it effing thrusts hard!
They should build this again.
27:23 : "This is a Car that you spar with"
Beautifully put.
Nice episode. Thanks to Jay for preserving automotive history.
Perserving it with all his money
Great episode. Joe is the man, Jay is the man and that car is freakin' amazing. Great job to everyone involved.
Absolutely beautiful Corvette. The whole look, colour, the sound.
Thanks for sharing this Joe and Jay. Made my day.
Imagine going out to get some milk, and Jay Leno and Joe Rogan come rolling past you in a resto-mod '65 Corvette Stingray. How cool is that? What a day!
JOE HAS LEGS!?!
Jamie pull that up
That is a cool car. Never been a fan of the solid wheels but they work on this.
powerful
+leo1337hs POWERFUL JAY LENOO
+Dr. Fang Bian yeah the wheels suck powerfully
+Rob Presnell Yup, those have got to be the UGLIEST rims on the face of the planet.
+leo1337hs JRE
+leo1337hs training by day, podcast all night...all day!
What I love about Joe, is that he knows when to speak and when not to speak. He gets the most interesting stuff out of people and doesn’t interrupt them.
Joe looks like a kid watching his dad and dad's friend talking and just smiling! hahahaa
Joe just standing there like a 9 year ol.... actually I love joe. I listen to his podcast almost everyday. I love you joe
This makes me feel good! Two real men having a real conversation. I miss seeing this amongst Hollywood guys…
Way to go brother, way to go!🙏
I like that Joe is sporting a Vortex hat! Badass car btw!
I LOVE how Jay ain't scared to drive cars whether their his or not!!! 👍👍
Juan Marquez maybe because he is worth 500 million giver take lol 😂
The side pipes on that car sound great Joe can have a flat piece made for behind the back seat and swap them out to change the look of the car ,,,, this was a Grate episode I really enjoyed the feedback in conversation from the two of yas and loved that small town car talk
Joe has good taste in cars. What a gorgeous mod. They worked with the original look and not against it.
Joe hangin on to the door handle for dear life ... 😅
As a driver who likes to drive fast myself, I'm like Joe, a nervous passenger... 🙄😌
