What I always find very interesting is that not all the N64 logos are created equally, a majority of them use unique/original models rather than using the same model used from other games
That perfect dark version still remains to be one of the cleanest openings. IMO.
Ive always liked the simplicity of the ocarina and Majora intros. Plus they’ve got that shiny effect all of the items in the games have.

3:17 You can tell by one frame of the animation that it's not an image, but actually a model because an image would never show one of the hidden sides on the top

But as a 3D model and in the startup sequences? Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2 doesn't.

@@shamwow2000 Thing is, if it's just a jpg or png or something like that, doesn't count as a model.
Talking about that, some of those games doesn't have the 3D logo and it's just a jpg that just gets deformated, so their place in the video is pretty questionable.
@@shamwow2000 Star Fox 64 uses a slightly transparent logo that then reveals the Great Fox.
Also, on the Wii Virtual Console versions of the Zelda games, there'll be a quick spinning N64 logo animation that plays for a few seconds whenever you exit out of the Home Menu, before returning to the game.
Yeah. They also used that on Paper Mario.
I like the Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine one, it's one of my favorite games.

Is is just me or is the Lego Racers startup really ominous for some reason? I'm not sure what it is about that but it feels like something that would've sent me running as a kid lol
I realize that Perfect Dark and a few other games have ominous logos as well, but theye don't get me in the same way since it was clearly intentional there. idk the Lego one just really stands out to me for whatever reason.
