RareWare was the first video game company I recognized besides Nintendo, back then those two were inseparable. I'm so happy Banjo is in Smash holy shit

I love how almost all of their n64 games had the n64 logo on the intro. Like “thanks guys I really needed help figuring what console I’m playing on.”
n64 was perfection, it was quite literally a perfect console

I remember playing Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Kinect Sports and Kinect Sports: Season Two on Xbox 360 and seeing these three Rare video logos.
Sadly they weren't at their prime by that point. Just an empty husk of their former glory days.

I do like how Rareware still made games for Nintendo after the buyout but only on their portable systems like the Game Boy Advance and the DS

@@eleven99 If Microsoft can allow Cuphead and Ori on the Switch along with Banjo & Kazooie in Smash, then so can Rare Replay.
It's quite difficult since almost a third of the games on it used the 360 backward compatibility so they didn't had to port them and the work was much quicker, while on Switch they would have to port those games from scratch, and I don't think that woul be worth $30
It could be a cutted back version lacking all the 360 games but using the N64 version of the 2 Banjos and Perfect Dark with their horrible framerate and all, or just maybe porting the 360 versions of the Banjo games individually, since I don't think that many people care about like half the stuff on Rare Replay and they ask for it mostly because of Banjo
Rare Replays was made in 2015. I wonder if that's too late for the Nintendo Switch version. For the Nintendo Switch version, I think some of those games have to be removed. Some people did point out that some of them can only work by XBox 360 backward compatibility. This probably looks like a good ideal to get the games that Rare associated with Nintendo on making (like Donkey Kong Land, Country, and 64 and Star Fox). I wonder how Rare got away with putting Cobra Triangle in on an X Box machine, because that game was published by Nintendo. Probably, Cobra Triangle was completely under Rare ownership.
What if there was Rare Replays 2? There are some Battletoads games left out. Probably the Sega Genesis version of Battle Toads, Battle Toads in Battle Maniac, and some other Rare games can be in, but it probably will have to be on X Box One for the category to make sense, concerning the first one was on X Box One, and some of those games had X Box 360 backwards compatibility.

Kameo Element of Power was the First time Microsoft Introduced Rare under them.

If it weren’t for Rare, the N64 would have had even worse sales than it already had. Don’t believe me? Look at the GameCube sales, which by the way only had 1 Rare game.

@HUB GOBLIN Tell me one breakout, legendary game they've made on Xbox's console that's just as good on Nintendo. Remakes don't count.
As far as I know, they've wasted this company's potential with stupid gimmicks on Kinect games and poor sequels.
@@ProjectGibix Kameo: Elements of Power, Viva Piñata: Trouble In Paradise, and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts are all reasonably good games. I would personally say that these games (especially VP: TIP) are better than many of Rare's offerings on Nintendo Platforms.

HIGHLY disagree, when Rareware and Nintendo collaborate you knew its going to be a masterpiece. The developers at Rare had a passion for making good games, Microsoft really limited their potential because the lack of creative freedom.

Well, I think Nintendo knew the writing was on the wall when the Stamper Brothers and most of the staff behind their games were leaving Rareware. That’s why they so easily gave Microsoft the company.
