We used to do our hunts in Australia from the tropical north to the goldfields in Victoria & Western Australia! You take me straight back to my trips with my father especially with all the different finds from the different ages👍 Thank you & wish you well in silver & gold for the future hunts😎👍

Wow! Your detector can pick up very deep objects. That was very interesting, all the items you discovered. And the zink coins do vary greatly, as you've pointed out. Some look so pristine, as if the had just been minted. Thanks for sharing this day.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to even have the possibility of finding ancient artifacts.... would probably collapse :) I dream of it :) but living in Ohio ....it remains just a dream.... Thanks for taking us along~ lots of good luck & HH

      hello dave,
on pasture finds sink down quite fast compared to other terrains. you rarely find ancient objects on lush meadows as they sunk down to unreachable depths. quite frustrating! I'm happy you like my videos and the way I make them! thank you for watching!

I would say you had a good hunt Hans. What a serene, picturesque spot. I loved the daffodils and snowdrops. Would you share your secret to keeping your hands looking so good. My hands react terribly to our soil and no amount of lotion repairs them.

    • @TerraGermaniaTG
      @TerraGermaniaTG  9 ปีที่แล้ว

get in it was wonderful. . .detecting an area with so much history and activity is always exciting! i'm glad you liked the flowers. . .i noticed that metal detectorists have a affinity to nature in general! that's why we understand each other so well in this community. . with a few exceptions of course ;)
i'm confused!?!?! i have a viewer that regularly tells me how rundown my hands look . . haha! i have no special tip. . .i don't even use lotions regularly. . .
thank you for watching and for your kind comments!!!

Your viewer that thinks your hands look run down hasn't seen grotty looking hands. Your nails are short and your hands look great. Tell that viewer to watch some other videos, some guy's hands look like they never trim or clean their nails, etc... They look like cavemen's hands would look. Ha ha, they really do!

      TerraGermania
Best you don't give away the location as I guess all countries have day hawkers who are looking to move in on anyone's land.
No worries about my comments, man/You detect for the right reasons and that should be celebrated.
Too often people searching for detecting videos just get to see the videos with hundreds of thousands of views (mostly desecration of war graves) and that is not a true reflection of the hobby so I feel it is only right to promote the good channels.
      GL&HH

i think i already told you that i got the feeling that some $%&# intruded my dream field. . .it's a pain in the §##. . .the only thing that comforts me is that they won't be very successful because the field is very challenging and can't be successfully detected in a hectic and nervous night hawking session!

      +Stefan Wacken hallo stefan,

So.

At 13:00 you found a coin near a round pattern of a specific type of weed. I am guessing that there was once a tree there, that was cut down where a stump decomposed over many years. Therefore, it is possible that someone once sat under this tree
with their knees bent up and a coin rolled out of their pocket. Have a look at the 13:00 minute mark in the video.
