Having cocoa because I'm outta ice cream but I plan to make some freezer ice cream this afternoon (using heavy cream + cocoa + some kind of sweetener + vanilla flavoring in a Mason jar, freeze, stir every 30 minutes, eat.) I mean, AFTER I clean house with you, right? LOVING YOUR VIDEOS! Make us feel guilty, it's okay.

It seems like so many other videos out there start off with a house that's already almost perfectly in order, and it feels so unrelatable that I start to think there's no use in trying.

I like watching clean with me videos while relaxing. Seeing a room get clean gives me the same satisfaction as watching a pimple popping video or a pressure washer video. And when it’s over, THEN I like to go clean.

Not motivated by cleaning videos. I've been cleaning for 60-ish years, starting by helping my mom as a little girl. I watch cleaning videos, especially yours, for the entertainment value. Thanks for providing that without fail. 😀
I think it’s more about your humor and keeping it real than the cleaning…. Seeing the reality of someone struggling with the same things you are & how they deal with it instead of a staged instagram perfect house makes us all feel better as we are not alone… it’s life & it gets crazy, messy and overwhelming at times

Seconding lots of people here, these videos give me the motivation I need to clean! It’s so refreshing to see someone else talk about the realities of keeping a clean house with little kids (especially with a baby!) ☺️ helps me remember we’re all in this together!

You have no idea how hard I laughed over the fruit pillows. I actually snorted. My great grandmother used to call her lady parts a kumquat. Then when the Clintons followed it… more laughter. I don’t watch your videos and clean. These are my treat for getting the cleaning handled and they help Todd learn so much. You aren’t intimidating or condescending just funny and practical. We both love that your house is adorable and unique instead of a Pinterest clone. He gets disheartened when the before looks like an after already. I guess it’s like when you are 13 and don’t know models have been photoshopped into the realm of impossible.

I love watching you clean (weird as that sounds). It's comforting and gets me started cleaning, too (sort of like the body doubling strategy, having someone with you to do the thing you need to do)

I watch these types of videos as I have breakfast so that I'm pumped up for the post-breakfeast cleaning / dusting. And since I've just had tea, mornings are my most productive / high-energy time of the day. (Usually everyone has left the house by the time I'm having breakfast, so it's fine that I'm having my breakfast with the laptop.)
Folding laundry now. I think I like clean with me because misery loves company. Lol
I watch your videos for new cleaning methods (I get bored of doing it the same way all the time) but also because seeing you tackle your cleaning makes me feel like I can do it too.

I always use a big duster and then wipe down with a microfiber cloth and cleaning spray
The duster keeps the fan pretty dust free and every month I open it to dust .
I slept exactly like you year round …it’s the fan life

As a teen my sister and mom and I would clean the house together. It was still annoying work but it was easier to do when someone else was there cleaning with me. Now I’m alone cleaning my own home. Watching clean with me video’s helps recreate that feeling of not being alone while doing some of the hardest work daily.
I love the 3 wave cleaning system, and had never heard of it til your video. I like combining it with flylady by doing a quick 3 wave cleaning 🙂 love your videos!

You motivate me by helping me remember it's better to get a few things done halfway than not do anything at all!! My 10 month old has been sick for a week, so my house looks like a tornado blew through!! But you motivates me to get a couple of things done and it feels good!! ❤️ God bless you!
I don’t clean while I’m watching your clean with me videos, but it does give me the jump start of motivation I need to go give my own house a little tidy up 😂. I’m all about listening to podcasts (I’m super into one called Maintenance Phase right now!) or listening to an audiobook. I love how you try out different cleaning routines because as a fellow stay at home mom (3 kids ages 6, 4, & 3) the idea of having ONE routine that works year round and all the time is just laughable. My routine I’m the summer when all three kids are home is not going to be the same as the one I use in the middle of winter when we’ve got one kid in school and it’s freezing cold outside so I don’t always have the option of sending the kids outside while I clean. RIP to the days when I can push the kids out in the yard or my hubby takes them all to the park so i have a solid hour or two of hitting the house hard and do what it like to call a reset.
I watch the minimal mom too. I just took 8 loads to the dump this week . She is super motivating

I might do dishes while I watch clean with me videos, but I prefer to watch properly - it's like chillaxing time watching how someone else cleans. When I clean it's more music, podcasts or sermons that I don't have to look at the screen for. I always feel a little bit better watching your videos Ariel, thank you for bringing your down to earth sense of humour 🥰 as well as all the things that I get to learn through your channel 💕

Sometimes I clean with you when these are on, but mostly it helps me get READY to actually do some cleaning.
I totally enjoy your videos....watch a lot, and feel I need to back up and watch all past videos.
Cleaning motivation videos help me when I'm feeling overwhelmed at a big cleaning task and can't seem to figure out where to start. I'm currently early in FlyLady in the decluttering phase...which is to say, all of my cleaning time is pragmatically decluttering time.
The nursery is beautiful!
I also sleep with the blankets pulled up to my neck...to protect my neck from vampires! I may have been traumatized by late night "The Creature Feature" movies i watched as a child!
Have you ever tried the time block system.
Time blocks are individual blocks of time, we use to do everything that we need to do and want to do in a day.
We sit down and write out everything we want to accomplish each day and put all these things into blocks of time to get it all done.
Then our daily work, and our hobbies and all of our daily doings all go Into the time blocks that we can create for ourselves.
For example my time block from 6 am to 7am is ….
I get up, help my husband get ready for work and spend time in Bible devotional.
Once 7.am hits, I start my second time block from 7.am to 9.am.
Time blocks can be as big or as small as you need them to be.
You place everything you need to do in a time block and you get going. It works really well and it’s a system used by professional time management people.
Why not give it a go!!!!

I understand completely about babies who outgrow things since my now 2.5 year old daughter is wearing size 3-4 clothes and even those pants are riding up her leg. By the time she's ten, she'll be taller than me (no hard feat) and will carry me around in a matchbox. I love your videos, thank you so, so much for posting them. You're my favourite TH-camr.

The three way is my favourite method too. All the others are too complicated for me and with this one I see results right away. It's also crazy easy to explain to my husband! Watching someone else clean motivates me to tackle my own cleaning jobs. You make it less intimidating.
I think "clean with me" videos do so well because it taps into that primal memory of watching our moms clean when we were tiny and its soothing. For me at least.
interesting theory! i always wonder why it's soothing to watch someone else clean (at least for me)....bc I don't love it all that much myself! A theory I have is that when I clean, it's usually in normal speed (lol) but when watching someone else in fast forward, you can see the progress so much faster, and there's a certain satisfaction in seeing that 'before' and 'after'......🤔
You should totally create some blend masterpiece cleaning system.. it should take you years of trying new things and variations and then eventually you can create the perfect blend, write that book, do the tour and then maybe one of us crazy moms can do what you do but using your system!! 😂 love the laughter while cleaning and also I’m totally a FlyLady app person now after watching your video.

I didn't clean with you this morning but it's not a cleaning day for me. I do like your videos cause your narration is entertaining. When I am cleaning alongside sometimes I have to stop what I'm doing to see what shenanigans you are up to.
I am a professional cleaner. I clean like a room clock style and, top to bottom. Yes I only use mictofibre cloths, water, washing up liquid (drops only) and a good, cheap/inexpensive descaler :) impressed that a mum of a newborn gets so much clean! (Brit)
I am going to try a mixture of 3 systems (fly lady, wave, clean mama) for my neglected house

I don't clean with your videos. I watch them in bunches when I don't feel like cleaning at all, but I have to. After around 30-40 minutes of watching you clean I finally get up and do my cleaning. So you rant all you want, do algebra in a voiceover, but your footage does miracles to my lazy ass :)

I also relate to you because I also don’t have a dishwasher, have a kiddo and one on the way, AND I have those stupid little penguin A/C units that take up so much room!! Great to see you on TH-cam this morning! Similar to your cleaning by going around the room, you could handle clutter by taking a laundry basket around the room in a circle tossing the clutter in the basket. Then go around the room in a circle with the laundry basket putting things away.

I'm doing laundry right now while watching but I have watched your videos while doing nothing! 😂 They motivate me anyway and overall make me laugh.
If you do store your fan or space heater, put a garbage bag over it while on storage. Eventually you'll have to clean it, but not at the beginning of every season! 😁
