You deserve way more views, you are way better than other similar TH-camrs, trust me I've watched plenty. You are actually really funny. I couldn’t agree with this comment more. Her channel will be more than twice this size by next year! It’s a real motivator for me to keep posting and creating… even though I think it’s her humor and personality that makes people sink into the awkward mom rabbit hole. I actually do still get magazines. I like the experience of sitting down and flipping through the pages and seeing all the beautiful pictures and ideas. Most of the time magazines have recipes and craft ideas that I wouldn't even think to look up online. Also I'm not reading them for information:)
My kids each get a magazine, 10-12 a year. It's a great addition to our homeschooling and helps reduce the need of more screentime. I'm new to your channel, it must be your personality that drew me in because I do very little cleaning at the moment. I'm pregnant with consistent morning sickness and hire a cleaning service every other week. But I have used the fly lady in the past and like her methods. I have divided the weekly blessing up for my kids chores throughout the week. Its great when they get old enough to help out.
Yes, the crazy thing is allowing them to learn. They probably won't do it the Way we would but, with time they will get there. I am just not as patient so, I end up doing everything. Sometimes I even clean their spaces.

Persistent morning sickness might be induced by inadequate sodium. Try eating more salty foods. Worth giving it a go. Also talk to doc of course.
@@ThatAwkwardMom yes, magazine are so very nice for children, especially when they are the education kind. They come with beautiful pictures and interesting facts.
Magazine with certain subjects are great especially because the don't come with flashing Ads that one can't ignore.

I totally love magazines. I still buy them so I stay off my phone at bedtime. I also feel like the recipes and articles are more researched and tested than on line random stuff I find on line. I get subscriptions and they’re pretty cheap per month.
I do have to say that you have inspired me to clean. I hate cleaning and I really don't have that much free time. So I just don't clean until I can't stand the clutter anymore. Lol. I watched your review on the clean momma method. Instead of doing it until the entire room or house is clean, I set a timer and when that timer is over, cleaning is done for that day. I am really enjoying having a clean home. Thank you for putting these up and making it where cleaning is easy and not a giant task.

You can use your chenille duster instead of a broom or vacuum. Just use it in figure 8's and take it to a carpet edge, vacuum up when doing your rug. No need to switch tools and they are SO very fast. Much more so than a broom. :)

I've yhelping my elderly neighbor with cleaning and sometimes meals. This cleaning method has helped me lots. Plus having time for my own home.

Just found your channel - and I need this so badly! I have NEVER been a good housewife but I want to be SO BADLY! My hubby, our three kids and I have been living in a camper for almost a year while waiting for a piece of property. And while I love the small space for it's ease in cleaning...it gets dirty SO FAST! These videos have been helping me so much!
I love magazines. I can hold it in my hand, and easily find that recipe again or article without having to sift through the Internet again. It also keeps my focus for a lot longer. I’m not as distracted by,” oh well let me search that real quick!” Also not as harsh on my eyes, no blue light shining!
I love your videos! Seeing everyone else's comments I'm watching it this one so that I can see your dancing with your duster. It's hard to multitask while watching a video. Anyway, I can make my bed and get dressed everyday. I am also working on unloading the dishwasher too. However, I am single and a homeowner. While cleaning my house is definitely important to me I also have yard work. I don't have a maid or mowing service that I use. The struggle is real. It is all up to me. I wish all of these very helpful videos, fly lady etc would include how to do your yard work, keep your house clean, work full time, and I actually be able to get out and do some fun things once in awhile.

A note on Zones; I don't know about you but I got tired of flipping pages and adding different zones to different days so I just added them all to my Monday-Friday lists. Monday added The Living Room (because it is my Weekly Home Blessing so I didn't want to add more than one extra to it), Tuesday added Kitchen and Pantry, Wed. added Main bathroom, Den, Office, Thursday added Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, Master Closet, and Friday got the Entry, Porch, and Dining Rooms (so they'd be nice and clean if we had guests on the weekend).

I love citrusy smells in my kitchen, and much of the rest of the house, the mixed scents of peach and vanilla is divine! I use wax melts, and often buy ones that smell like cake or pie just to mess with the hubby when he comes in. False hope can be fun LOL
OMG! This is life changing! Im so glad I discovered your channel! I love watching TH-cam mom channels because they seem to cook, clean, homeschool, work out, do their hair and makeup daily, and be active parents and I just admire it so much and wonder what being a mom like that would be like 😂. I have two 11 year olds, we eat a lot of canned soups and frozen pizzas. My home is dusty and full of dog hair. I never spend my spare time cleaning… and it’s a good day if I do anything other than brush my hair. If I have free time, I want to get outside or read an epic fantasy novel. With a 9 to 5… there’s really not time for much else. This system actually makes it seem possible. Worth a shot! I don’t see me ever giving up my nerd fiction or hiking to clean, but maybe my kids will get a more balanced mom if I can follow this. Your channel is actually very helpful! Seeing your oldest video and how big your following is already is such a motivator for me to keep filming and posting. You deserve every single subscriber. Not only are you honest, you’re hilarious and absurdly helpful. Thank you so much for creating this content!!! I look forward to all of your future videos and watching the growth happen. I started drinking green tea for my high cholesterol (at 27yo). I didn't get another cold or flu for more than a decade... not until I had a baby. I wasn't drinking green tea because of the iron absorption. Then I had a little adorable germ vector with me all the time and it took me DOWN!
I love my stick vacuum. I have mostly carpet and it works on both wood and carpet. Threw away the broom. The next time you get a cold drink elderberry tea with honey. It really helps. We just bought a 2nd pair of sheets after 7 years lol. We are so glad we did.
I'm sure its nice, I hate the pressure of having to get my sheets washed and dried by the end of the day... Ill have to try elderberry tea 🤔 Though I do swear by my green tea!!
Tango with the feather duster was fantastic. Laughed so hard!
I diffuse peppermint and tangerine together in our house! If you love fruit you would probably like it. The peppermint added into it gives it a fresh/clean hint with the fruit.
You can get also get a candle hotplate. It warms the candle and you can get the scent without the flame

When I'm under time pressure, I like to do a mini maintenance for 15 minutes. 5 minutes picking up and putting away, 5 minutes polishing/wiping/shining surfaces and mirrors and 5 minutes hoovering. This doesn't include all the Flylady tasks, however, it makes the house look good!

Hey, Miss A, two things. The very cheapest window cloth is newspaper. Something about the newsprint makes the glass sparkle. Use with whatever cleaner you prefer. I mix ammonia with water. Also, libraries have almost all magazines free online--I personally hate to read them online, but . . . . I love your channel!
About Magazines. I buy them. I love how it’s all about cuddling up in a fuzzy blanket
with a whole ‘book’ of pretty pictures that don’t flash by. I can look and look while sipping tea and listening to the crackle of the fire beside me. If I am getting the info online I tend to get distracted and I never seem to follow up on the ideas that came to me. There’s just too much. But I do follow up on the ideas that come to me while browsing in the pages of a magazine. However, you gave me the idea of finally buying the feather duster from FlyLady and I do believe I will follow up on that idea. Going to the Flyshop right now.

I agree 100%!!! Fly Lady is wonderful! I have followed her on and off over the years and she has been my personal favorite. I have tried others as well but continually go back to Fly Lady.
I wish I had your kind of energy, I tell myself every day get up and do something, not everything gets done, but some does.
I definitely don't always have energy like that. Don't beat yourself up based on a video. I think if you had a camera in front of you while cleaning, you might look energetic too lol. When I'm off camera, I have my bad days too. Days where I get up and don't feel like doing anything at all. Keeping a clean home is hard and I struggle with it too. I just wanted you to know you're not alone and that you should never judge yourself based on somebody else's TH-cam video!
im a college student, not a mom or homemaker (hope to be one day :) ) and i love your videos! inspires me to get my cleaning done too - one person can make a lot more mess than you would think! i agree a longer video would be so fun, i love how chatty you are and find u so funny and endearing, almost like youre a real life friend.

I love your videos! You are charming, funny, entertaining, AND educational!! Just popping in to say that I have had my Flylady mop for over 20 years. At the time it was a major investment (as far as mops went) but it has paid for itself over and over. I'm glad you found one and hope that it gives you many years of service!

I like watching your channel. I like your quirky humor. I use to look at fly lady many years ago. They have great ideas, but then they would go over the top with all of their structured cleaning regiment. I need to go back and view them again . And look into that Mop, and check out that duster again.

Shoe is so important, I too have a tennis shoe with a pad in it awesome. Just for indoor, I ready for the day. Slippers make you feel lazy, and it will hurt your back we stand a lot, we need to have support
I bought the cordless dyson stick vacuum and it's a game changer! I have an autoimmune disease that effects my spine, cleaning is really hard for me. I can whip through my whole house in minutes!!!! GET ONE!!!!

I love having one set of sheets, sp much easier to deal with. No folding fitted sheets, plus freshly laundered sheets are the best thing in the world at the end of the day ❤️

You aren't alone! We only have one set of sheets. We have a Cali King... so sheets are expensive & so hard to find! I also have to wash all the bed sheets in two loads 🙃 and two rounds in the dryer for our comforter

For me it is fascinating people clean with paper towels, I don't know if it is a Swedish thing because before watching TH-cam I never seen anyone do it, so I hope you have a rag for it now! I only used paper for the toilet floor, and never grew up with household paper, only toiletpaper! 😊

I have a norwex window cloth and it's great. No streaks on glass, no chemical sprays, no rubbish from paper towels or empty spray bottles. (Although you can use a spray bottle with plain water to go with your cloth 👍)
Best Disney movies are Soul and Brave (both are Disney Pixar collaborations) 💜❤️ Also I love "stick" vacuums they are the small cordless ones and also any steam mop is fantastic and way better than a traditional mop!
In general, all you need for windows, all you need is water. If they’re really greasy then all you need is dish soap and hot water 🙌

I need multiple sets of sheets because I don't have a dryer and have to hang them up and wait. I have to plan out when I'm going to wash the sheets because they take up so much space on the clothesline. They're usually dry by the end of the day in summer, but it can take a lot longer in winter! Saludos from Argentina, the home of tango!
I love that you modified the weekly home blessing. I’m toying around with doing fly lady, but I’m a nurse and my schedule varies so my ability to stick to or do a whole home blessing may have to be changed. Side note, your cat was cracking me up as you danced with the duster.
If you get a dyson make sure you get the soft roller head specifically for hard wood floors. I use the regular head attachment that came with the v11. It destroyed part of my wood floor!!! It caused the wood to splinter and start splitting apart. My husband is really upset with me because now we have to replace floor boards 😟

I have 2 sets. Cool micro sheets for summer & a warm fuzzy set for the winter.

I use a squigee instead of a broom on my hard floors since watching Auri Katariina. It’s super quick and effective comptes to sweeping. For my carpets I don’t own a cordless vacuum but I do have a carpet sweeper which is manual so no cord and it’s awesome for regular carpet cleanings. I only pull out my vacuum if I’m doing a deep clean (so like, never…)
I buy 3 kinds of magazines. In Her Studio because of the beautiful ideas in it, writing magazines as an author, and beading magazines because I design jewellery. I like having them around for reference and ideas. They are also handy if you like to make vision boards.
Honestly nothing motivates me more to get cleaning than watching your videos. I'm so productive on these days!

I like magazines. I like flipping through and looking at something that's not a screen. I enjoy the layout of magazines and sometimes you get things like perfume samples. 🤷🏼♀️
That stair update would be expensive but it would be worth it. I have a brand new home and we ripped out the carpet in the master, guest, and my office. I don't regret it
