- In this video I show 10 different things working on/with the new Xbox Series S/X controllers. I answer some not so common questions such as....Will it work on Steam? What happens if you connect 9 controllers? Will it work on the Nintendo Switch/Xbox One/PS4? Does it connect to Android?

Saw your excellent video on ''How to use your OLD Games Consoles on HDMI / DVI Monitors & TVs'' and I was wondering if you could make a video on connecting a new / next gen console to a PC setup, meaning monitor + PC speakers (2.1 and 5.1 systems, it would be also great to somehow include the use of the mouse and keyboard if possible, because some games on the console like Call of duty natively support the mouse and keyboard) and switching it on the fly between the console and PC. I know I would need some sort of HDMI to audio converter and HDMI splitter in one, but I can't find one. The consoles also don't have an optical audio port so it's even harder now to separately connect just the audio, let alone switching audio between the console and PC.
It would definitely help lots of PC players to get another platform, transition to it or just to try out the consoles.

5:58 YES it does work, i went through hell just to make it work and finally realized you had to download xbox accesories and update it so that steam would detect it as a rewgular one controller unfortunetly as the time of writing this Dec-25-2020 the share button does not work even if you play through the xbox app/games for pc.
edit: i am using it just via bluetooth, *NOT* using the adapter from microsoft. its pretty much like using it wired. the case i know you would need the adapter from microsoft is that if your pc doesn't have bluetooth.

Big questions no one is talking about is:
How dose the officially claimed “quickly switch between multiple devices” work on the new xbox series wireless controller?
This feature wasn’t available on old xbox one controller or the 2nd gen either, I always need to repair when switching between different devices! (e.g. 1 phone, 1 ipad, 1 xbox all 3 devices)

You will be able to hook up a USB external hdd/ssd, but it will only work with original Xbox, Xbox 360, or Xbox One games. Unfortunately, in order to play Xbox Series games, you'll need to have them installed on either the internal ssd, or the expandable Microsoft memory cards. However, you should be able to move those Series games to the external hard drive for storage, and move them back to the internal storage to actually play them. Hope this helps!

i have a question .. lets say im playing midnight club los angeles an xbox 360 game on xbox one series x ... is there a way to switch from a wired controller to a wireless controller ? cause everytime i close the wired it will say reconnect the controller and if i connect a wireless one it still wants me to reconnect the wired controller i had first , now i had a power a spectra wired controller connected i was able to switch to a pdp wired controller but dont know how i did and cant get back to the power a ... if you can help me that would be nice might sound stupid for a question but its just in that game in particular that i have the issue of not being able to switch controllers easily

@Ellis The DJ I get the concern, however that is not how it works. The cable itself will not damage anything, unless it's faulty.
Probably not a good idea to use your Samsung charger to charge your controller.
Ignore all the other comments.(except for the ones saying that it won't explode) If you want to charge your the series x/s controller like the other Xbox one controllers you will have to buy the charge and play pack for 25 dollars. You can use a Samsung USB c cable to charge the controller once you get the plug and play pack. Also, when the Xbox is on and connected to a controller charging, when you open the guide it will tell you if its charging and when its done charging. The controller should not explode because it had a safety thing just like phones to stop it when it reaches full capacity. Leaving your phone charging and controllers for a long period of time isn't a good idea though as it damages battery health and after a while it won't last as long

Hi, help me please. LT shakes controller very high but RT shakes very less and when I pushing it makes little bit noise. And for example, In Forza Horizon 4, when car was in the mud left side shakes very well but right side very less.
Heard a lot of users say the same, it's not an issue with your controller

i ha.ve the black controller that came with the xbox series x and with no USB to charge a rechargeable battery I tired the USB for my xbox 1 controller. its not even close in shape to fit in the new controller so I don't understand how you just popped it in on your controller. it seems that there's a small chip inside the new controller much like the other end of the USB only much smaller. no pin holes like the other USBs i have. i don't want to wrieck the dam thing am I just a geek or am I trying to hard? please help I'm serious. I'm presently charging the dam battery in my old controller.
You can use an type c cord to charge the battery on the new one!

For PC: requires swift pairing bluetooth, so prepare to upgrade your wireless, you may not have that. Doesn't come with a cable USB-C cable: requires USB-C cable capable of data transfer(not just charging) to update firmware and even use controller. If you don't have these things, could be $40 or more just to use this controller making it what, $120-150 all in?
Well no. The controller is often on sale for $50 via Microsoft and a USB C cable is probably less than $15.
If you don’t have Bluetooth, then be looking at wired controllers. Power A actually makes some good stuff
