Amberley Trail Ride, Murray Downs, New Zealand, 9-October-2022

Trail riding at Murray Downs, Amberley with my son Finn on his KTM 65
Back for our second time at the Amberly trail ride run by Adventure Trailrides Events. Big turn out of riders and a stunning day for a ride. The track was about 30km and conditions were perfect. Finn's brother Seb got a bee sting in the neck on the first lap, so sat out the rest of the day. We did three laps total and this video is our second lap.
The GoPro took a hit from Finns roost at 11:32 and smashed the lens protector but luckily it was off to the side of the lens so footage is still OK.

How did the little 65 / 85 go fuel wise did you take a spear on the trails ? All so what hands free talking headphones did you use cheers

We haven't run out of fuel on the 65's at a trail ride yet, although I do take a small bottle of spare fuel and oil, syringe and syphon hose in my backpack just in case on rides over about 40km. Did run out once after 43km riding in a forest, but have also done a 65km loop on a tank so depends on the riding.
We use Fodsports M1S-pro helmet intercoms from AliExpress to talk to each other. They're great to use with the kids.

Thanks mate. We use a GoPro Hero 9 and I run an external power-bank to get enough battery capacity to cover the whole days riding.

Hi mate. It's on private farmland at a ride organised by Adventure Trailrides Events. Look them up on Facebook. They have another ride there in March and one in October, along with a heap of other rides.
