The side steps are really easy to remove. They just add weight. It gives the Xterra a better look I think having them off. You might be able to sell them too! You can always put them back on later if you want. Besides, you will damage them doing offroading like this !

No gorns. I just happened to be watching the outlaw josey whales, an old clint eastwood western. And a scene in the movie looked just like where i was so i looked it up, and sure enough it had parts of the movie filmed there.
