Part 1 was two years ago. We did the same kinda trip, staying overnight. Most of these trail/firetrails are part of my best finds list. I've always kept a michigan road atlas with me over the years and Mark some of the more interesting trails I've come across. Thought it would be cool to do a big loop and hit as many points of interest as possible instead of wandering as per usual. We covered a lot of ground in this one, starting near Gladwin, going as far north as Mio then heading west toward that grayling military camp. The mud bogs at the end were on a trail system west of Saint Helen's. That one goes alot further but I had ran into problems with a c/v axle so we cut it short. It was getting late anyways, I always bring a spare but I was too lazy to tare into it in the night and get a bunch of sand into my bearings.
@ITS305TIME , gotcha. I really enjoy watching these types of videos. I would live yo take my truck on that kind of trip, but I really need to do a lot of work to make it dependable enough to make it. I'd have to take a couple of cases of oil with me! 😁
Where were these trails? I see this is part 2... was part 1 the video of the Porcupine Mountains?
