AND THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! My mother is Baptist, my cousin was raised Baptist and I went to church with my MIL for a while. They had more of the spirit of the lord than any others I've known. ANd they were ALWAYS baptizing people IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!! To learn other denominations would do people well. I now go to an AOG church and our pastor will tell those that "confess" that they need to be baptized and that confeesion is just the start. They have to also grow or they never really made Jesus their saviour to start with. And tongues are not for everyone. It is a gift. There was a pourpose for the tongues on the day of pentecost. But when the holy spirit fell on them, they started prophesying in each countries language. Not the babbel and craziness that I was raised in.
@@FancyTributetoRebaMcentire I went to a Baptist run camp in my teens here in Canada and I can tell you that they always preached that baptism isn't part of salvation. Don't assume I have not learned about other denominations and what they teach.
Accepting Jesus must be evident and must be biblical. What are the proof we can show that we truly received Jesus? In John 3:3-7- Jesus said- we must be born of water and of the Spirit. It should be done In Acts 2:38- Repent and be baptize in Jesus name and Receive the gift of the Spirit.

Thought bubble: Imagine you're trapped in a burning building. The only way out of the building you can get to that doesn't involve you running through fire is a third floor window. Obviously, you don't just jump, because that could kill you. However, through this window via ladder, a firefighter comes to your rescue; he tells you to follow him out the window and onto the ladder in order to be saved from the fire. What do you do: 1) Tell him that you believe in him and accept him as your way out of the fire, but not actually do anything toward that end? Or 2) Take action and go with him, accepting his help not only in your heart, but in your actions? When you say "I accept Jesus as my personal lord and savior" and leave it at that, you're essentially doing the first option. You're acknowledging that Jesus is your salvation, and that you'll find salvation in no other being (Acts 4:12). However, you're doing nothing to actually receive that salvation. You can't be saved by acknowledgement alone, as that's not what "grace by faith" means. Faith always involves obedience (Hebrews chapter 11).
@@germanwulf40: Great analogy. And it's why the Bible says in (Hebrews 5:9) "And being made perfect, he (Christ) became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him."

I think a vast majority of people who use that phrase are just relaying what they've been led to believe. Satan is the deceiver, most believing Christians are not.
You are ignorant of the whole proclamation. The Church was born on the day of Pentecost. The first century Church was ONE God numerically. The writings of Tertullian prove that. There has always been One God believers all through history because it is biblical. You are mistaking a group of believers that use to be Baptist, and other denominations that finally saw the truth of God, during that time as being the very first ones which is false. You just repeat the ignorance of others.
Pastor Bernard, read John 6:37. If anyone comes to Him, he will in no way cast them out! How can you say we can accept Christ, but He may not accept us?
There are examples where believers were rejected, and will be when Jesus returns for a church without spot or blemish. Math 7:21-23 Not every one who saith unto me Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me ye that work iniquity. So even believers who had done many wonderful things in His name were guilty of something which caused them to be rejected! They had a blemish Jesus couldn't ignore because He is Holy and can't abide with sin. The same for the man who didn't have on a wedding garment in Math 22:12-13. He ignored the requirements to enter the wedding feast. We need to be clothed with Jesus righteousness. Mk 16:16. I personally believe the reason is a failure to obey the full plan of salvation as in Acts 2:38. When baptised in Jesus name, your sins are remitted. Acts 4:12, there is only one name for remission. It's the only way to be adopted into the family of God. Rom 6:3,4. Take on His name in baptism by faith. Faith without works is dead, James 2:17. If you are a true believer you will do all you can to obey the Lords commands. Jn 14:15. May you receive the Holy Ghost to guide you into all truth, Amen.
I find two things totally out of line with this line of thinking (besides the fact that John 3 is speaking of natural birth and NOT baptism), and those two things are 1) why did Paul not clarify that a person needed to be baptized in order to be saved? and 2) the following verse is TOTALLY contradictory to the concept of baptism being necessary for salvation. Check this out: 1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) "[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.” So, according to the logic that you have to be baptized in order to be saved, Paul was thankful that no one except for a few had been saved by his ministry.
Context is very important. These 3 questions will keep you from the heresy of baptism for salvation. 1. Who is talking? 2.who are they talking to? 3. What are they talking about? Acts 2:38- Peter is preaching a national message to jews in light of the fact that they had just crucified their messiah. Acts 2:38 does not apply to Gentiles. John 3 has nothing to do with water baptism. It has to do with a physical birth and a spiritual birth. When Jesus was still walking the earth he himself and the people of that day were still under mosaic law so yes it was correct for Jesus to say you have to do these certain things to be saved. For example Mathew 19:16-17. Acts is a transitional book. In acts 2 the jews repent, get baptized and receive the gift of the holy spirit. In Acts 10 their were people who received the holy spirit and then got baptized. In acts 19 their are people who received the holy spirit after paul laid his hands on them. So you can go to anyone of these verses to prove baptism for salvation but you would have to take it out of context and mis apply it in order to do so. 1 Peter 3:21-says that it is a LIKE-FIGURE. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, I would also like to add as far as the thief on the cross is concerned i have heard this defense from those who preach baptism for salvation- you will first use hebrews 9:27 then you will have to argue that the will of Christ didn’t go into affect after he had died. The logic is that the thief died under the Old Testament and therefore that is why he didn’t have to get baptized, however this is false. If you read John 19:31-33 you will see the thief died AFTER Christ’s death which means he died in the New Testament not in the old.
@@2146USMC not for salvation. He was already saved. Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
I don’t mean to be contentious, just sharing my thoughts. If you read the entire chapter of Acts 10 the angel commanded Cornelius to go find Peter. So that Peter would tell him what he had to do to be saved.. Cornelius was the first Gentile to be saved in the New Testament, (please research this) most theologians believe Gentiles weren’t added to the church for 10 years After Resurrection, ascension and the day of be Pentecost. The early church was 100% jews. Also the thief on the cross died prior to the resurrection, ascension and the day of Pentecost when Gods gift of his Holy Spirit was poured out in the upper room in Acts 2. Jesus had power to forgive sins on earth, thus the thief fell under the old covenant.
thief was before Jesus death burial and resurrection, so before that to get into the covenant was circumcision of the flesh the new circumcision is of the heart Romans 2:25-29
We get baptised because we are saved not to be saved, if salvation is a condition of water then those that don’t have access to water are not, that’s not right.
@@nelsonstiveens5140 so your saying that someone salvation is contingent on water What about those who don’t have access to water or on a plane and accept Christ and plane goes down
@@matthewhallet681 hi, if I can respectfully and kindly put a comment on that to your question. I absolutely believe everything bro Bernard teaches here. I’m not gonna add anything to what he taught. The thing about if someone has access to water or not, I don’t think it’s a very valid argument there is always access to water somehow. We couldn’t survive without it. If someone is going down on a plane and don’t have access to water. I would say God knows how to work all of that out, we have to remember he is a judge. But I do believe that salvation is given to all according to the scripture and everyone is giving a chance. What if in that same scenario, a plane slammed into the side of a mountain without any moments notice, which has happened many times unfortunately, and what if you were not given the chance to say, I accept the Lord Jesus as my savior. What then? I think if we go into these type of scenarios and try to figure that out, we will get caught up in a tangled web. We must simply obey what the scripture says to salvation. Every man or woman is given a chance according to the scripture, whether a person takes that chance, or not is up to them. God is not going to give someone a chance seconds before they slam in to the side of a mountain or go down in a plane. At that point I would say that Chance had already done been given. God and his infinite wisdom knows all of that. According to the scripture We must be born again of the water and the spirit. Hopefully this isn’t taken in a negative way. I don’t want that to sound harsh, just wanting to point out an answer
We can solve this issue once and for all by looking to the author and finisher of our faith. Everything else from Peter and Paul is just in support of what Jesus said. 1. Did Jesus say baptism in water washes away your sins? 2. Dis Jesus say baptism in the Holy Spirit is required for salvation? In short, the answers are no. Repentance is for the unbeliever to become saved, baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift for someone who was already saved, and baptism in water is a commandment for only believers. Repentance/confession is what leads to the blood of Jesus covering our sins. When you are free from the curse of sin, you will be saved upon confession. Now I am totally against seeker friendly 10-second sinner prayers. That’s dangerous territory. But at the end of the day, only repentance is required to be saved. Then after this, the believer is then qualified to receive baptism into the Holy Ghost and water.
With ALL DUE RESPECT to you and for you, my friend, your thoughts of reasoning here are not in ACCORDance to what our LORD JESUS CHRIST taught and directed the early church apostles/disciples to preach and teach, which they also partook of and obeyed with all their hearts ❤️ & souls. In the Gospel of John, Chapter 3, our LORD JESUS CHRIST teaches/proclaims that ye must be born again (changed/transformed/renewed from a carnal unregenerate state to a regenerated state) of the WATER and the Spirit, so your points 1 & 2 would have to be rendered invalid. Furthermore, again with all due respect for/towards your beliefs, WATER BAPTISM is for sinners because when a sinner genuinely repents of/from his or her sins and is water baptized in the only SAVING NAME of our LORD JESUS CHRIST (like I, & those throughout the book of Acts experienced) this obedient act of faith in his NAME is when, where and how the holy, sinless, sanctifying BLOOD of CHRIST JESUS is applied for the REMISSION & as PROPITIATION for those past sins committed by an individual. Without the application of the SHEDDING of BLOOD, there is NO REMISSION of/from sins. Those sins must be BURIED & WASHED away after they are DIED out to at an altar of repentance. I suggest you read Acts Chapters 2, 8, 10, & 19, as well as Mark 16 & Galatians 3:27. Lastly, the infilling/baptism of the HOLY GHOST 👻 with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is NOT for those who were already saved. I think you are confusing the Gifts of the Spirit, spoken of and about to the church at Corinth, for the receiving of the infilling of the HOLY GHOST as part of the NEW BIRTH plan of salvation, which is the appropriation & application of the death, burial and resurrection of our LORD JESUS CHRIST as the early believers experienced in Acts Chapter 2 on the Day of Pentecost, fulfilling Acts 2:38 completely. As my new birth pastor explained it correctly, you can NOT get or receive any of the Gifts of the Spirit, until you are FIRST BORN AGAIN of the Spirit of Almighty God, & you come into RELATIONSHIP with our Heavenly Father of all spirits, through the Son, who He MANIFESTED Himself within by OBEYING Him. (See John 14:6, Acts 5:32)
@@truthwisdom Again, with ALL DUE RESPECT, what do you think born again of water means in the verse you make reference to that I cited. It most certainly DOESN'T refer to being born of the water from your mother's womb because He clearly states that which is born of the flesh is flesh. I strongly recommend and admonish you to listen to the podcast for our double honorable and highly esteemed reverend David K. Bernard who provides excellent instruction of wisdom & knowledge of sound Biblical doctrine on this topic for it (WATER BAPTISM in the NAME of our LORD JESUS CHRIST) of our New Testament dispensation/covenant is a type and shadow of the Old Testament covenant that God had with Noah, which the apostle Peter alluded to in 1 Peter 3: 20-21. Just as Noah believed God through faith manifested by his obedience to God's Voice as the Word was spoken unto him, we also demonstrate saving faith via obedience when we take on the application of CHRIST JESUS ' blood through having our sins BURIED & WASHED away, for His cleansing, sanctifying, and purifying of own souls 🧠, spirits, consciences and bodies is accomplished within us when His only SAVING NAME is called over us during water baptism. If WATER BAPTISM is not required as part of the NEW BIRTH, as you assert, then why did Philip, as part of the Ethiopian eunuch's CONVERSION, ask Phillip to WATER BAPTIZE him after he had preached unto him JESUS!!! (Acts 8: 31-38) In addition, in Acts 22, apostle Paul, who was formerly Saul of Tarsus, who originally persecuted the church prior to his encounter with our LORD JESUS CHRIST on the Damascus road, reaffirms his CONVERSION, despite his BELIEVING in GOD, & re-accounts it in Acts Chapter 22 & what Ananias did to him to quote "WASH AWAY THY SINS, in verse 16. Lastly, if I recall correctly from your comments earlier, you stated that water baptism was only for believers, but in again in Acts Chapter 8:9-11 Simon wasn't a believer in our LORD JESUS CHRIST but rather a SORCERER, but when he TRULY BELIEVED the Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST preached by Philip, the evangelist, what was he instructed to engage within, acting on his faith in Acts 8:12-17, with EMPHASIS on verses 13 & 16!!!!!!!!!! From just these 3 examples only, (& I didn't even make mention of Acts Chapter 10 (Cornelius' CONVERSION) or Acts Chapter 19 (the CONVERSION of the disciples of John the Baptist encountered by apostle Paul, who did what when Paul questioned them in Acts 19:2 & then instructed them in 19:4? Read Acts 19:5-6 for the answer. Based upon ALL of this Biblical evidence presented here, it sure seems that the Spirit of Almighty God INSPIRED a WHOLE LOT to be STRESSED and COMMANDED regarding WATER BAPTISM throughout the Holy Scriptures, don't you think?
@@travisdory3027 To be honest, I would rather say that I do not understand what John 3:5 means, than to make up my own interpretation. Jesus was not shy, so He had no reason to not mention baptism in this verse. Also, in Acts it never once said that sinners needed to be baptized. Only believers. Believers are saved, unbelievers are not. What is a believer? One who has repented and had their sins forgiven. After baptism, believers then become disciples.
Why don't you finish by explaining that just like the demon wasn't saved those that are baptized with the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 are also not saved unless your "priests" rebaptize them. Otherwise confess that they are saved too based on their, desire, obedience, sincerity of heart and faith.
You should read the Bible instead of twisting the scripture. You have a reading problem. Matt 28:19 Says NAME singular not titles. All baptisms done by the Apostles were in the name of Jesus. And they re-baptized those that were not baptized in Jesus Name. Acts 19:2-6 KJVS He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. [3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. [4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. You are not reading the Bible, you are writing your own Bible.
You miss the whole context of the scripture. Why do you equate believing in his name to mean baptism when scripture does not support that? Your hermeneutics to the scripture is off and you do the word of God a disservice. Because you didn’t properly exegete John 3:4, you miss the whole gospel. Being born of the water is not speaking of baptism. Y’all need to stop twisting scripture to fit your narrative. One moment you say we are saved by faith but then you add baptism. Which one is it? Baptism is an outward expression of what was already done in the heart. Jesus Christ is our salvation and salvation is a gift and the only way to get a gift is to ACCEPT IT.
You haven’t read the Bible. John 3:5 KJVS Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Born of water is Baptism. Mark 16:16 KJVS He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. All baptisms by the Apostles were done in Jesus name. Your Hermeneutics is Off. If you truly believe you would follow ALL that Jesus says.
Bernard, are you denying the simplicity of the gospel? Children can bow the knee NOW and be saved forever. Jesus loves sinners and THAT is who HE seeks to SAVE completely and forever
If you really believe you follow ALL that Jesus says. Not just one verse. Salvation plan is more than one sentence. God loves people but He sends sinners to hell.
@@hargisP2 it's not following Jesus --- it's hearing Paul's gospel NOW. The Lord Jesus Christ gave the mystery of the gospel to Paul to the gentiles and HE wants ALL to hear Paul's gospel NOW. He didn't say that because Acts 2:38 commands water baptism in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and it's what Apostolic Pentecostals stand upon as the Salvation plan. You obviously misunderstood what David Bernard was trying to say and teach. Go back to the podcast and relisten.

David....is a great teacher but he is really stretching this one. He is all over the place and none of those things proves that anyone who truly confessess and accepts that Christ is their Savior and Lord isn't saved by that faith in that belief ALONE. The only thing that is brought up in these scriptures is that some people truly didn't believe and some did. Not that these things aren't the base of all Salvation
Clearly, faith and believing are the base. If you don't believe and have faith, you won't obey the Gospel. However, because the concrete slab is the base of my house, it does not mean that my house is completed when the slab is laid. At the same time, I must have the slab, or my house will fall. Faith and believing are the prerequisite to salvation, not the completion of it. We must be obedient to the Gospel through faith. What is the Gospel? 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 John 5:8 How do we obey it? Acts 2:37-40; John 7:37-39; Acts 19:2-6 Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Salvation is a one-time thing. Sanctification is a lifelong process. If you have legitimate faith in Christ, then you are indwelt with the holy Spirit, and the holy Spirit will produce fruit in your life. I think a lot of people are adding to the cross when they shouldn't be doing that. You're adding works to your salvation, via water baptism etc. and so in your example, It's possible for two Christians to have the same base, but lead different fruit-filled lives. One may have a period of backsliding and grow through a series of circumstances that may test their faith. And they will fail from time to time, but that doesn't mean that they're not Christians. And that way not everybody's walk is the same but that doesn't change what was done on the cross. I think I do agree with a good portion of what you said though, but in a different way. I do believe works go hand in hand with your sanctification. Meaning that if you are truly of the spirit, then you will do good things. It will work itself out in your life sooner or later, in that way I believe truly in once saved always saved, which is a difficult thing to explain to most people but I think that's what that means in this context. What God began as a good work in you, he will see it through to completion. @@pugnaciousnoobeginnings8997

The simple answer is yes, all it takes is to have faith in Jesus Christ as our savior. However, the debate is what that “faith” looks like.
The faith OF Christ
Galatians 2:16 KJVS
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
The church started with the apostles, follow their pattern for conversion.
What is sad of All Pre-Appollos's, over the centuries,,,, Example,,,Billy Graham, ECT,,,,All his massive crusades of getting a massive Alter calls and bringing people up to the edge of the water🤔,,,but then have the go back and set down🥺😪Acts, chapter 2, you take the masses immediately to the water n baptize in Acts,2:38 while conviction is present,,,, immediately go🙏♥️❤🙏🙏

I find it hilarious that Baptists don't believe that baptism is mandatory for salvation.
You find it funny but you don’t feel bad for them?
Read . The apostles who were Galileans did not speak the other languages of the other people that had gathered for the festival.
I also had a retired Wesleyan pastor and his wife for foster parents and they also agreed with that as well. They did perform baptisms but it was never part of the salvation plan to them. Don't assume I have not learned about other denominations and what they teach.

Very well spoken
We also have to workout our salvation in keeping the Commandments. We can’t accept Christ and do what every we want . Without repentance no salvation.

Being well versed in the original Koine Greek of the new testament ,Dr Bernard i woud like to ask you a question.
Can the Greek word for " tongues", in Acts and 1Corinthians, be singular and plural depending on how it is applied ?
Luke 7:48-50 KJV
[48] And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. [49] And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? [50] And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

If you don't repent and obey the scriptures you're not saved otherwise ppl can do whatever they please in life and still make it into the Kingdom, and it's why Acts 2:38 comands us to repent and be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins and than you'll receive the Holy Ghost like the Apostles experienced on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4.

@@HekatoChishi-y7z: Amen, but it's really not my advice but what the Bible commands of us in Acts 2:38.
What do you do:
1) Tell him that you believe in him and accept him as your way out of the fire, but not actually do anything toward that end?
What do you say to people who believe the gift of the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues is simply the ability to learn different languages ?
Not the 'ability to learn other languages; rather, it was the supernatural spoken language that was 'not learned, it happened as a miracle. Not gibberish, but an actual language spoken in a foreign tongue that others understood; as it was their language. Read the scriptures describing the event.

People who teach this phrase as salvation are being deceitful. They take a biblical principle and apply it in a wrong manner
AMEN AND AMEN!!!!
Yeah, it stems from ppl not being able to "rightfully divide" the Word of God.
I think a vast majority of people who use that phrase are just relaying what they've been led to believe. Satan is the deceiver, most believing Christians are not.
Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that God raised him from the dead.
Only part of salvation.
They always says this is the 1st century church but I know for a fact oneness Penecostals didn’t start until after the early 1900s?
You are ignorant of the whole proclamation. The Church was born on the day of Pentecost. The first century Church was ONE God numerically. The writings of Tertullian prove that. There has always been One God believers all through history because it is biblical. You are mistaking a group of believers that use to be Baptist, and other denominations that finally saw the truth of God, during that time as being the very first ones which is false. You just repeat the ignorance of others.
Do your research if your to lazy to do it for yourself i don’t know tell you but Justin peters has many videos on this
Pastor Bernard, read John 6:37.
Check this out:
1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV)
"[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”
So, according to the logic that you have to be baptized in order to be saved, Paul was thankful that no one except for a few had been saved by his ministry.
Faith without works is dead,,,No such a teaching in the Bible as Faith alone, or Faith only,,,Book of James, in our Holy Bible, KJV.
Acts 16:31 & Ephesians 2:7-10 are pretty self explanatory
What about the thief next to Jesus whom Jesus tells "Today you will be with me in paradise."?

@@DavidKBernardUPCI Nothing l DO adds anything to HIS FINISHED work of salvation
Can we please trim the intro? It’s annoyingly long.
Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
I would also like to add as far as the thief on the cross is concerned i have heard this defense from those who preach baptism for salvation- you will first use hebrews 9:27 then you will have to argue that the will of Christ didn’t go into affect after he had died. The logic is that the thief died under the Old Testament and therefore that is why he didn’t have to get baptized, however this is false. If you read John 19:31-33 you will see the thief died AFTER Christ’s death which means he died in the New Testament not in the old.
Wasn’t Cornelius a Gentile? and wasn’t he baptized in the NAME of the Lord by Peter?
@@2146USMC not for salvation. He was already saved. Acts 10:47
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Wishing don't make it so...
How does this fit into the thief on the cross. He simply just believed Jesus was who he said he was.
thief was before Jesus death burial and resurrection, so before that to get into the covenant was circumcision of the flesh the new circumcision is of the heart Romans 2:25-29
The answer is John 3:16, real simple!!
The gospel is more than one verse. Jesus uses the word IF many times. It’s good to take note.
We get baptised because we are saved not to be saved, if salvation is a condition of water then those that don’t have access to water are not, that’s not right.
The Baptism is a requeriment for the salvación. Is for forgirnesss of the sins
@@nelsonstiveens5140 so your saying that someone salvation is contingent on water
What about those who don’t have access to water or on a plane and accept Christ and plane goes down
@@matthewhallet681 hi, if I can respectfully and kindly put a comment on that to your question.
@@nelsonstiveens5140 Remission of sins. John the Baptist preached forgiveness but his disciples were re-baptised in Jesus name in Acts 19:1-6 .
Mark,16:16,,,, don't be amongst the 5 foolish Virgins
@@travisdory3027 in John 3:5, did Jesus say the word ‘baptize’? If not, then we probably shouldn’t add it in.
@@truthwisdomsins are forgiven at baptism ‘for the remission of sins’.
Acts 19:2-6 KJVS
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
You can blow your smoke, but not into my nostrils.
So you don’t believe what Jesus says. If you believe, that means you follow ALL that Jesus says, not one saying. You are blowing smoke.
The Baptism is expresión of faith, The Baptism is for the forgirnesss of the sins. Acts 2:38

I Peter 3:20-21
Clearly, faith and believing are the base. If you don't believe and have faith, you won't obey the Gospel.
However, because the concrete slab is the base of my house, it does not mean that my house is completed when the slab is laid. At the same time, I must have the slab, or my house will fall.
Faith and believing are the prerequisite to salvation, not the completion of it.
We must be obedient to the Gospel through faith.
What is the Gospel? 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 John 5:8
How do we obey it? Acts 2:37-40; John 7:37-39; Acts 19:2-6
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
@@pugnaciousnoobeginnings8997 I love that, I'm gonna use this analogy in the future :)
